Rivener looked rather proud of himself when he was asked if Zul liked him too. "I think he does, although it remains to be seen if he's old enough to know what he's feeling at all. But whatever it was, it was certainly positive, if his reactions can be trusted." The Sigel recalled arms and wings around him, the praise and smiles... Shaking his head free of these thoughts, Rivener brought himself back to the matters at hand, namely the following question about feeding.

"No, all Raevans eat something different depending on what they were made from. My brother Eiry, for instance, eats the death off dying plants. So that when he's done eating, the flowers and bushes and weeds are all very healthy and nice. Needless to say we have a very successful garden at home." The Scorpion chuckled.

"Do you already know what your Raevan will consist of?" Rivener asked, tilting his head. "And are you going to TELL it? A lot of people don't, although I don't know why. I knew what I was made of from really early on, but Isi never really told Eiry much of how he was made, I think..." Red eyes darted aside in thought.

Wit bobbed his head in agreement at that, quite entranced by Rivener at this point. "Is good, is good..." He chirped, "Zul did seem muchly like a child when this one was to be meeting him, but Zul will grow like Rivener someday, yes yesly?" Of course he would, as they were bother Raevans, so long as their guardians took proper care of them.

"Ooooo~" Another one of his delighted cooing sounds, eyes growing wide at this new revelation. Wit was just as hungry for information on Raevans as the Raevens themselves seemed to be for their very own 'essence'. "This one is to be thinking that his will be liking coffee then. Is to be being as well, since the Wit dislikes coffee, but is to be adoring the smell."

Ending the sentence with a rather goofy sort of grin, he plowed on, seeming all the more animated when Rivener asked the blond about his Raevan to be. "Yes yes! This one's Raevan is of coffee beanses...beanses that make one sleep instead of awake, and of a kitsune-fox! We played a game for its soul, you see..." A flicker of pride there, as Wit was more than delighted at having outwitted the fox-spirit. "And I do not see why I am not to be telling it where it has come from...is it better or no to be tellings or not?" A cautious head-tilt, the blond's hat shifting to a more precarious position on his head.

Rivener smirked, liking the mental image of Zul as a Sigel. "Yes, I daresay Zul will be like me someday. Dunno when though. It's different for everyone."

"Weird coffee beans and a kitsune, hunh? Interesting combo. This is the first time I learned what a Raevan will be made of before I even meet the Raevan itself."
Riv grinned. He felt like he was on the OTHER side of the Raevan-life for once, on the Guardian's side, seeing things from the other perspective. "As for if you should tell it, that's something only you can decide. You know, some people don't tell their kids where babies come from until the kid's like nineteen, and others have that talk as soon as possible. It's up to you." Riv shrugged. "Personally I think it's best to know early, but that might be because that's how I was raised. I didn't see a problem with it."

Then again, Rivener wasn't made of anything that would cause a problem of any kind.

Wit arched an eyebrow, but said nothing to the comment about Zul becoming a Sigel. It seemed that this Raevan was particularly looking forward to such a day. Hnn.

"Is to be being very interesting combo, yes... And this one will have to let his Raevan meet youses sometimes, yesly?" Laughing softly at the comparison to Raevan creation and baby making, he shook his head. "Seems to this one that creating one such as youses is a mite less messy than babymakingses." It had been in his case, at least. "And this one is to be thinking he will tell his Raevan how he was created suchly, is to be being good advice."

Straightening suddenly, he fumbled at his pocket as the cell phone placed there began to hum in a persistent sort of fashion, alerting the world to its existence with a shrill trilling. Accidentally silencing the device whilst trying to get it out of his pocket, he stared at the missed call glumly. Ah well, Dweian was probably just trying to scold him anyway. Gaze flicking to Rivener apologetically, he shoved the phone back into his pocket. "Oops."

...obviously he was not enthused about answering that call.

Rivener had been about to answer the whole babymaking and havinging-to-meet questions when a sudden cell phone ring broke their pleasant conversation. Rivener sighed and reached into his OWN pocket, pulling out the device... only to find that it hadn't been ringing. He blinked over at Wit: ah, it was HIM. And he seemed just as eager to answer it as Rivener would be about answering his own. The Scorpion laughed and pocketed his cell again, grinning.

"So there's someone looking after your whereabouts too, is there? Hahah, I know the feeling. My guardian lets me out and all but he can still be a worry wart from home. If you don't mind, can we talk as we walk? I'd like to get to see at least a few of those apartments today, and you seem to be in no hurry to get back to whoever that was on the phone just now."

The Raevan set out in the direction of the closest address, floating casually down the street. "I'd love to meet your Raevan when it's born. It's always fun to meet others of my kind; I've met tons, but there always seems to be more and more that I haven't met. When it's born, you can just look me up on the Lab contact information. It's really handy, that list. I think they renew it every month or so... You should be on there now, yeah?"

Wit rolled his eyes with a dramatic sigh, "There is to be being indeedlie." He informed, wrinkling his nose. "That one means well, but sometimes, this one admits that it is fun to vex him." The expression on his face took a slightly impish turn, bright eyes scanning the other. Really, this one did seem far more mature than all the other Raevans that he'd met, perhaps Wit would have to seek out more Sigels in the future in order to see if they were all this way.

Moving forward then, alongside the other, keen on continuing the conversation for at least a bit longer before assuaging Dweian's fears, Wit again dipped his head in agreement, "This one is to be being on there, he would imaginelike." Lips curving upward, he laughed softly, as though some private joke within his mind. "Especially since this one already entrusted the soul that he was to be catchings to those verra nice individuals, yesly." Of course, he had been loathe to part with the soul and essence, a possessive creature, but he had nearly driven Dweian to distraction, and thus, it had to be done before something in the house exploded, likely the butler's temper.

"However, this one should likely not linger overlong. Dwee is to be being a nice sort of fellow, and he means well, worrywart tho he ises, very muchly so. Your guardian, he is to be being of like kind?" A bit of a sigh at that, and sticking hands in his pockets he strolled alongside the floating Rivener. A very odd pair the two made, walking down the street.

Rivener had the distinct mental impression that he was walking along with Eiry, mostly due to the "yesly" and "imagine-like", hearing much of his younger brother's grammar in Wit's strange speech. It'd be mind-boggling to see the two of them try to talk to one another.

"Yes, my guardian, Aphismet, is like that too. A worrywart and kinda smothering, but he does mean well and he's very kind. Lots of people like him." Rivener was past trying to deny the fact that he actually liked his guardian, so he shrugged and added that in. "I like him too, actually. Even though he can be a pain."

They quickly walked to the end of the first block and, in another short block, Rivener could see the small sign heralding the apartment building. "Ah, that's the one! It WAS really close. Thanks for that, Wit. I'd be wandering around still without your help." He snickered.

That's when his OWN cellphone rang, the ringing causing a sigh and a roll of the eyes. Riv, unlike Wit, actually picked up the call, lifting a finger in a "one second" gesture.

"Yeah? ...Hi, Aph. No, not much longer. Like an hour or two. What does it matter what I'm doing? ...No, I'm not. ...Are you kidding me, just rela-... NO, no need for that. Alright, alright, I'll be home in an hour, I promise. Right. Yeah, bye." Sighing again, long clawed fingers clapped the cell shut and shoved it back in his pocket. "I guess I gotta move fast if I want to get home on time. I'm sorry, Wit, but I suppose this means I'll split ways with you; I'll run to a few more addresses nearby and then go home."

With a grin, the Raevan offered his hand to shake. "It was very nice to meet you though, good luck avoiding that "Dwee" person for a while still."

Another one of the vampiric fae's merry laughs escaped his lips, and he tugged almost idly at his jacket sleeves. "Is to be good that youses are liking him. This one can only hope that the Wit's Raevan is to be being liking him as well." He supposed that, as all children, semi-normal children anyway, Raevans would have issues with their guardians, as heaven knew that when the time came...Wit too would be fiercely protective over his own Raevan.

So they were here. Well, he supposed it was time that he got going, though he'd probably stop at that lovely little cafe down the way for a snack before heading home, and perhaps he'd be so generous as to pick up a pastry for Dweian too. "Is not to be being trouble, this one is gladses to help thee, Rivener. " Pursing lips faintly in bemusement to hear the exchange between the dark-haired Raevan and his guardian, he winked at the other, "And good luck to thee also, with thy parental, It seems youses shall to be needing it." Reaching out, he clasped the other's hand. "Twas lovely to be meeting the Rivener, and this one shall surely findses a way to be seeing youses again, no fear shall thee to be having."

Catching the brim of his hat in his fingertips, he then swept it from his head and offered the other a proper bow, bending fully at the waist. "Until we meet again~" It was likely the most normal part of the entire exchange, and then, with a playful grin, that peculiar cheshire smile, he turned to go, fairly skipping his way down the street.

Oh today had been just dandy.
