if you've played it, one of the "real" fans got to meet them during the making of the game, for being a huge metallica nut. video should be on the game, if not try to find it on youtube.
edit: as a side note, One is actually playable on expert now, instead of hammer ons, they changed them to strumless notes. and changed the make up of the song a tad compared to 3, mostly jsut having it use newer types of notes, like the hold notes with notes you strike during them. but yeah the solo is still a good challenge.
