Balancing the kit and being trailed after by Kip, Akko did her best to listen. She returned his smile and nodded slightly. She was glad that the rest of the territory wasn't all loose, shifting sand. As he described the paw prints in the sand she nodded, "I would imagine it would be quite a pretty view." She followed him dutifully to the edge of the water, slightly shocked as a wave pushed the salt water over her paws- it was cool, but not freezing cold which surprised her.
Stepping a few steps back she glanced to him. "It's beautiful." Catching his next words Akko realized she was more tired than she had thought. A rest would be more than welcome. "That would be great, I'm pretty tired, and I know Timka and Kip are just as, if not more."

Tamba smiled at the adolescent and her hares. He could have added further comments about the water and how strange it was at first, but that could wait, and no doubt the youngster would discover that for herself.
With a nod towards the jungle, he beckoned the adolescent to follow him back up the sandy shore and on to firmer ground. The jungle was cooler than most, served by the beautiful sea breeze. Tamba showed the trio to a nice soft den and then bade his polite farewells and wished them all a good night of rest.
As he left the jungle behind him, he contemplated how far some lions had travelled to reach these shores. It was a very humbling thought.

Akko followed after Tamba, taking in her new pride. She knew she'd like it here, she could feel it in her bones. As they were left at the den, she watched him walk away for a moment before turning and head inside. "Welcome home" She smiled and flopped to the ground, content.
