"Eh ?" He looked up at the Okazi woman as he was done applying the oils,"you say I should trust you, well for now you may speak with him. But I warn you dont interfere with our training, any hardships you have with him must wait, he is very frail at this time and only a coward would lay a hand on him. You may go near him but do not touch him or take anything from him until we are done and he has rested, if you disobey my commands I care not for who you know. Words are cheap and will get you torn to ribbons if you are not careful, you are a summoner too for you know well the extent of our powers and that there are many other dogs beyond these rocks hungering for your flesh, some more than others. If not for me and the boy here they would be on you and your kitten like vultures to a carcass so be respectful to him please," he turned a scornful look to Qastor," Baka what are you waiting for that chakra wont gather itself child !"
He was just turning his head to look around when he was verbally corrected for his actions, turning around again he weakly raised both arms above his head and allowing the oil to absorb into his body clasped his palms together. He meditated slowly and focused on only taking in chakra not rebuilding his pool or forcing any of it out of him. As he sat still legs crossed palms together, his brows furrowed a little, he began to slightly feel the tingle of the natural chakra around him though it was faint he could feel it barely.
"Thats it now keep like that, your hands must not separate, hold focus and do not lose contact with the natural chakra around you. If you can sense it you can manipulate it, if you can manipulate it you can absorb it and if you can absorb it you can use it. Keep in mind that no matter how hard this is now you will have to do this in the heat of battle with attacks going off around you, that is why you must only do this when necessary I urge you. You may not realize it but this wont get any easier, regardless waiting too late can also lose a battle, timing will make the difference between life and death."
He kept his hands together tight, his feeling of the chakra more apparent now as he could almost see it if he opened his eyes for a few seconds at a time. Slowly he started to wrap the chakra around his body and move it using it as an extension of his body just as they were taught in the academy. He found it hard to believe that it worked, soon he was able to start absorbing small particles of natural chakra, this was with the help of the conducive oils of course. He was filling his empty chakra system within about an hour of training, it was too soon to say he was done as he couldnt yet use it but he had the ability to gain natural chakra fleshed out now to say the least.
Thrashkun looked quite surprised he was going rather fast compared to what was expected,"well well you listen good, I guess there is hope in you yet boy. Now its time you started working on maintaining control of the chakra and absorbing it with out the oil, lets see how this goes for now. You have a feel for it so Im confident you will be just fine," Thrashkun then made a seal if you could call it that and sucked the oils from Qastors body.
Qastor was shocked that he was expected to do it with out help so fast, he barely had the hang of it and he hadnt even practiced the release of natural chakra yet. Immediately he could barely feel the natural chakra again, though this came back he felt impaired now when it came to taking in the chakra. He strained and strained but still he could barely pull in but a few particles at a time, as he felt this not only did he lose the ability to take it in but he was finding difficulty in keeping it in. The chakra was seeping back out of his body as he lost control of it and before ten minutes had passed he was feeling weak again, moving over to the adjoining river bank he stepped waist deep into the water.

"Thats right so you have sensed it, yes that water contains natural chakra as well as the fact that it will help you maintain and gather chakra with out the oil. Yes keep your hands together, remember that in battle your hands can not separate until youve entered sage mode and that will take some time."
"Its been a while since Ive felt the lecturing of a sensei before eh, feels kind of good in a way," he calmed himself he was just freaking out is all. Once he calmed the water felt warm as it flowed over his body, he moved under the waterfall and felt it falling like a Buddhist priest would train and meditate. He kept himself in meditation with his hands clasped he felt the chakra begin to flow as if his body was absorbing the water.
"Yes you are doing better, you feel it now yes that sensation as if pure water is entering your body, strengthening you," he was learning pretty fast possibly faster then the first disciple of his.
The chakra flowed into him more now and he began to absorb it not only from the water but he was absorbing it from the air around him. His surroundings were being absorbed or rather the life force from them that was natural chakra, he felt it the sensation and it was increasing him in strength. His natural chakra was bringing back his stamina much faster than his normal chakra would or his start chakra. He smiled as he felt himself being restored past the normal limit and now truly recognized the sensation,"Yes Thrashkun sama I feel it now I can identify with the sensation."
Thrashkun smiled at this his student was destined to learn sage mode, or so it appeared he would probably get it quickly. "Good now remember that sensation and step out of the water, maintain your chakra and absorb it with out the water either. Once you fill your chakra system completely and can do this almost instantly you will have entered sage mode, all you will have to do then is maintain it."
Qastor was surprised that he was so close to his goal already he stood up now and stepped out of the water onto the soft earth once more. He strained at first to maintain his current levels but he soon began absorbing it again by recognizing what he had to do to maintain the previous sensation. Chakra pored into him and soon he emanated with the orangish chakra that he had absorbed from his surroundings, his system was full and now the chakra hung around him and as his system was too full to continue to hold the chakra.

He clapped his paws together well,"ah so you have entered sage mode now congratulations you have passed the first stage of training, though it will not be so easy." He smiled as he went on,"Now you will have to learn to maintain sage mode and chakra absorption while in battle. Meaning you wont be able to concentrate while you fight you will have to train till you can hold this level of chakra automatically."
He soon began to change slightly his hair grew a bit longer like a coat of fur, and his face changed to look more like a canine with larger sharper teeth. His ears became tipped like that of an elf and he grew longer nails and began to stand on all fours, he was absorbing chakra difficultly with out using meditation. He began losing the features and only kept the minor image of what he was before sustaining it but with out any increases in areas of stamina or combat.
Thrashkun noted he had left out something,"ah you will notice some changes though they are not permanent, you will once you have mastered sage mode notice other things. You will have increased speed, strength, stamina, and your senses will be increased tenfold, Dog Sage mode will make you the fastest of any shinobi and you will have the sensory of second to non." He smiled soon the boy would have to learn how to fuse with him to use sage mode attacks and other things, this would require practice which he could provide for his pupil.
He stayed focused for a time and soon the chakra again was building around and within him, he was now circulating natural chakra through his chakra system and he felt a special rush in this moment. His senses were increased dramatically, he could pick and single out any scent possible and he could hear for at least 30 feet. Now he had finally mastered maintaining sage mode but he would need help,"So Ive learned to maintain sage mode what now Thrashkun sama ?"
"Now you train with it," he shouted as he jumped onto Qastors head and sat on top of him, he wasnt very heavy so it didnt matter. "You will attack and perform Senjutsu exactly as I tell you, then you will practice the final stage with me, merging with Sage Elders is the final key to mastering sage mode and you will be one of the first to master it."
"Merging with you really, I didnt know that was the final part of sage mode training," he paused a second to think,"so I can perform more feats than I used to could do and you will now teach me Senjutsu, is there anything else I should know ?"

Patting his paws on Qastors head he sighed,"well you do have to deal with the loss of all Kekkai Genkai, even your Sharingan will be useless when you enter sage mode. You will still be able to use most of your ninjutsu that are from your elemental affinities, now to practice your Senjutsu. Start with a chakra punch or two then you can use this for the rest, my element is Doton so put our elements together and you have some powerful stuff." He dropped down a scroll of Senjutsu techniques into Qastors robes and then dug in his fur to get a good anchoring for the ensuing storm.
He began simply by focusing chakra into his hand, what he didnt know was that Thrashkun had released the seal on his chakra meaning he had indeed learned to maintain sage mode even with everything going on around him. He threw a strong chakra punch full force to the cliffside in front of him, needless to say it did not end well for the cliff, smashing into the cliff it sent a roaring crash through out the sage land before sending the entire wall crumbling down. He practiced maintaining and controlling his bodies speed in the current state and soon was able to zip around with little to no trouble or injury. He took a moment to rest and addressed Thrashkun," Sensei I think Ive mastered it all now the only thing left are the Senjutsu and merging with you."
He yawned a moment before surveying the area surrounding him,"Good show my boy I think you have done it, that is quite a thing to awake to now isnt it ! He stood up and stretched before looking down at Qastors face,"Alright now we will practice merging then Senjutsu last, for you can not use Senjutsu with out my help."

Sotaru was waiting on a nearby rock, he was meditating and absorbing nature energy. His father was still the original sage and Sotaru wasnt quite as good yet, but he practiced anyways, the nature chakra swarming lightly around him. He opened his eye to see Pakkun with the two men,"The Daimyo and his chairman Sotaru-sama." Sotaru nodded and uncrossed his legs,"Youve done a good job, go rest up Pakkun." He turned a kind gaze to the men,"Come Ive longed for this meeting, sit please, rest yourself, Im sure for a man of no ninja training the travel must have been mentally stressful."

 Wave Daimyo
Both the Daimyo and Kuri made their way nearer to Sotaru. Their steps completely unaltered, as if their previous travel was something they were used to. It was obvious that although they were not shinobi, both the Daimyo and Kuri were well trained warriors.
"Sotaru Okazi-dono, correct?"
The Daimyo asked as he stepped about six or seven feet from Sotaru's position. He gave a light bow and Kuri followed suit.

"Please Sota-san is fine Daimyo-dono," he smiled as he stood and then bowed for the visitors. "I appreciate you coming to see me after all, the recent events in Konoha have made me start thinking, and the pattern makes sense now. I felt it best if we had this conversation in private, I fear you would be targeted if you came to my village and I the same if I came to yours. Here we can talk in peace as equals, these lands are known only to the current Canine Sage." He sat back down and assumed the previous position,"have you ever heard of chakra, Daimyo-san?" The adjustment of suffix brought the mood to a more casual friendly level and all tension was washed away by the nature chakra flowing strongly in the air.

Wave Daimyo
The Daimyo placed his hand on Kuri's shoulder, signaturing him to sit down, and soon after, he followed suit.
The two sat with their legs folded, their hands on their laps.
"It's no problem, Sota-san. But, in all realities, I do not own the Moon Village. I oversee it and all other villages within the Wave Country. It is my brother, the Fifth Chairman, who will sometime soon take up position as the Tsukikage."
He corrected as politely as he could, and followed to respond to Sotaru's statement and second question.
"I see... so this is one of the Sage Lands the stronger ninja are prone to visit then..."
He looked around a bit, Kuri doing the same. The scenery of this place was incredibly different than most locations in the open world.
"I must say, I never thought they would look quite like this..."
He trailed off a bit, losing focus in his gaze. But with a quick snap, it seemed he returned full attention to Sotaru.
"And yes, chakra is a force which is common in most life. However, there are separate forms of chakra that can also be utilized in the same manner. The most common branch of chakra being..."
He lifted his left arm, the beads on his bracelet started to rattle and give off a sea blue aura that held the same calm as the natural chakra around them.
"Chi..."

"Yes, chakra combines physical, Chi and mental, Ki, together they make the common chakra used for ninja techniques. The Sage Lands incorporate a third energy into the balance, Nature Energy, this allows a person to develop the strengths of their summoning partners while maintaining human form, with superior chakra the ninja can use superior techniques under less stress." He smiled and snapped his hand forming a small flame at the tip of his finger like a candle. "Very simple when I explain, but its hard work to properly utilize these things, it seems that you have a very high amount of Chi and reference to your amount of Ki, or rather your uses have left it unbalanced." He had made a nice ice breaker, but now things would become a little serious,"May I ask you why you chose your position?"

Wave Daimyo
The Daimyo settled his hand back to his lap, the bracelet strung around his wrist calming as well.
"If you'd think I had chosen my position as the Daimyo of the Wave Country... then you'd be mistaken..."
Both he and Kuri closed their eyes, however Kuri also crossed his arms. He already knew the subject that was about to be spurted from the Daimyo's lips, and he knew how the Daimyo felt about repeating the short yet deep tale.
"I come from a family that has always maintained a high degree of political power... a family that craves and relies on the benefits of being in such positions of power...
You could say most in my family have a distinct taste for that sort of thing. It's a taste they try to inflict on their young as soon as possible- so the desire for power sticks and becomes second nature..."
He let out a deep sigh and rose his left hand up again, the bracelet rattling, the air around it becoming distilled and decrypt.
"I was like that once... power hungry... rude... evil, in a sense...
But after I began construction on the Mist Village... after I saw the faces of the people and children, who had grown up with nothing... people who seemed to be on their last limb... When I saw how they lived their lives, and the hope that was strung in their hearts when they heard of the construction that was to take place...
The just seemed so..."
He looked away for a moment, his eyes and his left hand shifting to the ground. Every motion his bracelet made seemed to be peeling away at the reality of the Sage Lands. As if it were consuming a needed base in the world's chemistry.
"..."
He turned back his sights to Sotaru, then to his bracelet and he let out a heavy frown. Closing his eyes once more, he placed his right hand over his left arm, the aura from the bracelet beginning to fade.
"I found a way to break my ties with my family... at least... the best I could... But... my brother still followed me, and I thought all hope was lost... But when I met him, got to talk with him, and heard his stories... I couldn't feel the malice that he once had..."
He let out a small smile, breaking it once or twice as if he were chuckling.
"It was a miracle... I wasn't the only one who broke away from my family's grip..."
A few sniffs could be heard as he talked. The Daimyo motioned his hands to his lap again, still holding his left with his right.
"I... I'm sorry... I hope I answered your question..."
He held his head low, and gulped a few times as he spoke. His tone of voice had completely changed from earlier.

"Yes, I think it does, that would probably bring me to my question of how well you know your chairmen, Daimyo-san? He was observing the bracelet, it seemed to have a mysterious power, he may ask later.

The Daimyo looked to Kuri, just as Kuri allowed his arms to settle once more.
"...Kuri has always been at my side... he was assigned as my guard when I was still young in the family... but even after my abandonment, he's still been here for me..."
He ended at that. Not really aware of Sotaru's full question.
