We don't have much of an underground scene here, it really sucks! But my friend's in a band called "The Paris Peace Conference" (look em' up on MySpace) They are a mathcore band and they are just getting on their feet.

I don't care for most of the local bands in my area. Most of them are very bluegrass. I'll occasionally stop in for a show to support a friend, but not often.

there is an awesome Jazz cover band that plays often, and a mind blowing Frank Zappa tribute band that come around every couple of months, but otherwise its all bluegrass. They don't really even sound like they're really into it; they sound like they're mocking the style.

My band plays REAL classic rock, from it's earliest stages. We're not very well accepted around town so far though, because I'm the replacement vocalist after the original vocalist had a nasty breakup with the bass player/manager and told him and the band to blow it out their... awkward....

Ohio has tons of great underground musicians, its just that not many of them live within ten miles of me crying
