CoD4 is the new God of War.
Same gameplay mechanics from 1 - 3. Disappointing but fun. (I guess)

Sakyh Takashi Hiroyama Sakyh @ blue & Fryderyk: What's with the sequal bashing? A lot of sequels come out great! Kingdom Hearts 2, Soul Calibar 2, God of War 2, Shadow of the Collossus, Killzone 2, Rachet & Clank, Jak 2, etc... What was Shadow of the Collossus a sequel to? Ico. Although the game takes place before Ico. Last Guardian is the last of the trilogy. Not sure where it chronologically takes place. They're technically not sequels. Simply successors.

Dude, if the term "trilogy" is good enough for the game makers, it's good enough for me. Technical or otherwise.
