Patty smiled, glad that he was happy. She could tell that he didn't mind being close to her, and it seemed to her that he rather liked it.
She tried to think of something to talk about. Now she seemed to be at a loss for words. She tried to think of their last visit together. Hadn't she been his princess? Yes, it was something like that. So what did a princess say to her prince when they were sitting together and just talking?
"It's a lovely day out..." she said, glancing around at the trees and the little rays of sunshine that filtered through them. "Almost magical, don't you think?" Yeah, like a fairytale, she thought.

Pepper followed her gaze, "Yes, it really is." He smiled at his princess. "I think any day would be magical with you, my Princess." He blushed a bit as that was sort of cheesy.
He looked down and then wanted to do something. He wanted to show her how much he cared for her, by kissing her. But, he was being shy. What if she didn't care for him as much?

Patty blushed too, and noticed him lower his gaze. She could tell he was being shy about something, but she wasn't sure what. She turned her head towards him and nudged him gently. "You're very sweet you know." She hadn't ever met a guy as sweet as Pepper before, nor one that treated her like such a princess.

Sweet? Was that good or bad? He looked up at her and then leaned over to give her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks, I think you are too." He remembered they kiss they shared so long ago, he then leaned in to see if it would be just as nice as it had been then.
