hehe yeah.. i know your shop isnt tittled yet and thats ok but really the easiest way is to do it alphabetically, think of all the extra work we had to do to get everyone's opinion about one shop, it's just not possible right now without offending anyone, what I was thinking about doing with your shop is to just name it "untittled" or " interest thread" if you don't come up with something by the time we start the event..... but maybe not, we don't really know yet

Hm.. reading over things, I think I prefer the alphabetizing over the rating one. Even if the actual ratings are sent privately, the results would show up with the ordering and whatnot.

To be fair, a shop should have a name by the time of the event; selling a pet without a name/shop to link it to would be very awkward for the people going for it methinks. (What do they call it? What do they look for when they want to return to the shop in question?) There's still time to sort out a name for the shop and all, as this was supposed ot be in May, yes?
And also, see... the feedback rating on customers would require the shops in question to have customers who WANT to give feedback, too. (Or have time/memories to do so.) That's detrimental to newer shops (such as our unnamed one and some others I know were entered).
Only other options is to get the full list and start randomizing off the list an order. Completely unbiased then since random is random.
Breaking ti down by how they're being evented works well too, then you don't get individual shop posts, but unification via events. These are flatsold, these are raffles, etc.
Some people look based on how to acquire, so it's a thought. Some people like raffles and games over sales/auctions or whatever, and then no shop is entirely made special on ordering. (Short of HOW you order various event types, but that's just being picky then.)

You have a point. Or maybe we could do what Mintaka said (or what I got out of it xD ) and have some ordered by rating if the shops want to be rated, and the others alphabetically?
Another idea; maybe in the first post, there's a link to each shop alphabetically with a link to the shop itself and then the shop's post. Then everyone will have an equal chance, so that people can just click to go to whatever post they're interested in?

Shouldn't we have some sort of shop index anyways? o wo That's a lot of shops to keep track of and it would not only benefit the folks running the event, but the folks who walk into the thread as well. (so they don't have to be shuffling threw the posts trying to find instructions or pet requirements for an upcoming event.)

I like the idea of the alphabetizing or posting them by event. The only thing with posting them by event is that several shops (my two included) entered more the one pet and put up more then one way of 'selling' them off.
I know this may sound lame and far too simple...but why not just order them in the same order that they signed up?
