((Ok!!! I'm thinking about haw to start this... I think I'll start with when Seyu first appears again. And your getting married soon? razz Congrats!))
Aimus woke up early one morning to hear a shout in his ear. "Wake up!"
Startled, he shouted and jumped out of bed, looking about. Most of the others will still asleep, but some awoke angrilly at his scream. He whispered appologies all around until he heard another scream from nearby. "Are you ignoreing me?"
Aimus turned to see Seyu, the big silver lizard(a bit bigger now, he noted. He must have grown.) Sitting on his blankets. "What are you doing here?" He whispered harshly.
"I asked you first."
"I have no time for games!"
"Neither do I. Why have you been ignoring me?"
"You nearly ruined my life! Now go away! I don't need you anymore."
"Shut up!" Aimus looked over to see one of the others glaring angrilly at him. He picked up Seyu and hurried outside for privacy. Seyu bit him on the hand and he dropped him outside. "Ow! What was that for?"
"Oh shut up!" Seyu said angrilly. "You make me dissappear for years, and when I finally show up you tell me to go away!"
"Oh, Seyu! You know I didn't mean that! I was just frustrated! Why are you back now?"
"How should I know? You brought me back here yourself."
"What?" He said grumpilly as he sat down. Great, this was the last thing he needed. Everything was going fine. Now his childhood was going to repeat itself. They'd think he was a nutjob and they'd lock him up! He continued grumbling to himself until Seyu bit him on his bair foot. "Ow! What was that for?"
"What are you going to do about all this then?" Seyu said angrilly. Clearly he wasn't happy about being ignored all those years.
"I don't know! I don't even know why your here!" He sat thinking to himself, trying to ignore Seyu's annoying protest. The last time he'd seen Seyu was years ago. Why would he show up now? He shook his head. There was only one person he trusted with this sort of thing... Just like when he was a kid. He scooped up Seyu, who was still yelling at him, and put him on his shoulder. "Come on then." He said quietly, sighing to himself. "I'm going to go talk to Hafiz."
"What, that old coot?"
"Shut up." Aimus walked on, ignoring Seyu's screams.
(Where should I find Hafiz?)

(sorry about the delay!!!)
Hafiz was busy but made himself available that night, when technically they should both be sleeping. It wasn't too difficult to stay out of bed longer than you were supposed to. The women or other men often kept tabs on you though and would know where you had been in case there was trouble later.
So, both of them were now in Hafiz's room with two double-bunk beds. The other three men were either on duty as guards or conveniently late to bed because Hafiz had asked them to be. "How are things going?" Hafiz asked as a standard question. He had no idea what any of this was going to be about. As far as he knew, the boy had given up his imaginary friend years ago.

"Not good." He replied simply. "He's back, and I don't know why."
"Don't talk about me as if I'm not here!" Seyu interrupted.
Aimus thought he should make himself clearer. "Seyu is back, and now he won't leave."

(that's ok I completely understand! I was gone for a long time)
"Oh." The older man looked troubled but was trying not to show it. Many things were going through his head, most of them spelling trouble for the boy. However there was one that gave him hope.
"You know, you never told me much about him. You want to now? No one else is here to listen. Then maybe I can talk to him myself."

"Yeah," Seyu interrupted before Aimus had a chance to comment, "Let me talk to him this time.
Aimus sighed. "He said he would like to speak with you. He turned to the big silver lizard on his shoulder. "What do you want me to say?" He whispered to him.
"Ask him what he wants to know about me."
"He says, what do you want to know about him?"

"Well I was wondering if there was any way for me to talk to him directly," Hafiz explained. "Instead of always through you. Why is that only you can see and hear him?"

Aimus shrugged, "We could try," he turned to Seyu. "Can you make it so others can hear you?"
"I'm not sure," He thought to himself before hopping off his shoulder and climbing up Hafiz's leg and up onto his shoulder. Aimus smiled a bit at his antics. "I've never tryed this before, but," Seyu took a deep breath and screamed at the top of his voice right in Hafiz's ear. "HEY!"
Aimus covered his ears from the scream, then looked to Hafiz. "Did it work?" Loud voice for a little lizard, Aimus thought to himself.

"Did what work?"
Hafiz hesitated as it occured to him what the boy must be talking about. "No, I didn't hear any thing. I'm sorry. I just don't understand why your friend can't be seen or heard by other people if he's real. And if he's not real you need to get rid of him. Do you understand me?"
He paused to let it sink in. "There are a few things I can teach you that might help, but if they dont start working in a few days then we've got to look at other possibilities..." He trailed off, not wanting to give the young man any ideas that the lizard could be real. But it could.

Aitrus frowned. He knew Seyu couldn't possibly be real. After all, noone could see him. But then why did it affect him so? He ignored his question and blurted out. "If he's not real, how can he seem so real to me?"
"I am so real!" Aitrus just glared at him. He turned back to Hafiz and sighed.
"I do want to get rid of them." He said quietly.

"I know, that's good," Hafiz said and pat the kid on the back. "This may sound silly but have you tried just ignoring him? Sometimes troublesome spirits go away if you just don't pay them any mind."

"No!" Seyu yelled out. "That's what happened before! No! I won't let it happen!"
Aitrus grinned to himself. "Apparently, that's how I got rid of him in the first place." He frowned in thought. "But how would I keep him from coming back like he did?"
"No!" Seyu climbed up Aimus' front, staring him in the eyes. "You won't get rid of me this time! I'm here to stay!"
Aimus pushed Seyu aside and looked at Hafiz questioningly.

Hafiz had a thoughtful look on his face. "You got rid of him for a while...? Well... can you think of any thing that might have allowed him to come back? Did you miss him?" The poor old man felt stupid for not being more helpful.
