All the freaking time

I'll push the palm keys on my Alto sax
and then you can just feel the spit running down your hand.
Same with the Bari sax
that stupid little spit valve ALWAYS opens on me when I'm playing
gets all over my pants
Worst part is, I didn't know there was even a valve for that when I started playing it

my trumpet leaks from the bottom of the valves every once in awhile. Always makes me jump because it's really cold XD
Though I duno if that's even supposed to happen because it only started doing that this year...oh well it's going to be going to the "instrument spa" soon(I hope)

megamanfan66 HOLY MOLY!!! Hahaha! That's not spit leaking all over you. Sheesh! It's condensed water. HARMLESS WATER! hehe. It's supposed to happen. You're not drooling into your instrument... that would be gross. Hah. Of course, it SEEMS as if spit is leaking into your instrument, but it's just your warm breath vapor condensing into a liquid. So, it's not ALL bad, but it happens to everyone. "warm breath vapor" comes from inside of you, there are many parts of your body that are moist, if the "vapor" isn't coming from saliva, it's coming from the fluids in your lungs...even if you want to say it's just condensed "water"...it's still a bodily fluid...and still gross to have it leaking all over you

honestly, whatever this clear runny liquid coming out of your instrument is, the concept of it is still kind of gross, but I don't really care that much because this spit or condensed water is mine, and not someone else's.
hehe, my clarinet leaks out of my bell and sometimes drips on my knee. Then it leaks out of the holes and my fingers slip when I'm playing sweatdrop

All. The. Time!!! My flute pees on me just about every day. I tend to play for quite a while when I do. When outside and it's cold, even more so. Piccolo does it a lot more than flute. It usually gets on my leg if it doesn't drip out while playing.

If it makes you feel any better the water is 80% condensation and 20% spit (plus its your spit so its not that bad if it wasn't your spit then it'd be a lot grosser)
