Aya grinned, she was almost in first, she just had to run a little faster. She looked down as she stumbled a little, "Stupid laces, I should have gotten the velcro shoes!" She slowed down a little, hopping along, tucking the lose lace ends inside her shoes, with the fear of tripping gone, she continued running, keeping the finish line in sight

Oh no, oh no, Ven's brain began to throw itself into a pain attack. The others slipped by her, running faster and faster. Venexia frowned as a snail oozed by her as well, maybe this pacing wasn't such a good idea after all.

Kagome realized that she was off to a slow start and was lagging behind the others so she tried to pick up the pace and hope that she would pass some of the other stragglers.

Fishi cringed as she felt a stitch in her side and she was forced to slow down. She pouted and mentally scolded herself for not stretching as she watched the other runners zoom by.

The little dragon 'zoomed' by a few others. Looked like the pace she was going was a fairly good one. Hopefully she would be able to keep up at this pace

Lar-uhh huffed and wheezed, realizing she was more out of shape than she thought. She almost cried, but was still determined to finish this race.

Polette had just started out when she made the painful realization that her leg had fallen asleep while she had been analyzing the hobo people on either side of her, giving her a slow start.

Shippo was obviously more interested in her lollypop then the race. She wanted to win, so she tried to run harder. her arms moving in line with her legs.

Melloon hopped quickly over a rock in the road, landing a bit awkwardly and stumbling before continuing her earlier pace, she looked behaind her and saw a few stragglers and, while she was concerned when someone fell, her desire to win overcame it and she continued to run.

Pan-duh didn't start off as well as she had hoped and was currently average with the rest of her competitors.
She urged her body forward...faster.

Aya ran on watching those around her, trying so hard to keep in front. The shoelaces she tucked inside her shoes earlier slipped out and she managed to trip over them again, getting mad, she kicked them off and took off again, noticing that she was miserably behind

This were still looking up for the small dragon. Taking a glance back she saw a few others lagging behind, still she turned her attention back to her target keeping that in mind as she went along in this race.
