She could swear she heart her heart beat echoing in the den when they both were inside, though she knew it was her imagination. She stared at him a moment as he brushed passed her and headed for the back, and then watched her. She almost decided to forget it, she'd warm up eventually on her own! But that didn't sound appealing either...
She swallowed and headed toward him, dropping down next to him. She was very close, but she wasn't touching against him. She knew they probably wouldn't get warm that way, but it all felt strange to her. After a moment she muttered something and shifted the last bit of distance closer, her slightly chilled body pressed next to his colder form. She layed her head down on her paws, eyes shut almost tightly as she tried to pretend as if he wasn't right next to her, so maybe she could fall asleep faster. Her tail flicked and she felt it brush up against his own, causing it to quickly shift away. She wrinkled her nose and wiggled slightly, suddenly turning on her side so her back was against him and her stomach was toward the den entrance.
She took deep breaths and exhaled, trying to feel calm and give into the tiredness that was weighing heavily on her mind. She felt too aware of the male next to her though, and it was just causing her to feel exhausted. Still, the warmth was finally beginning to build up and eventually she did start to drift off, actually thankful for the extra body heat.

He watched her with heavy lids as she walked over to him, quirking a brow as she lay down next to him, but too far away for their bodies to touch. He would have closed the distance himself, just to make her stop being so damn stubborn, but she shifted over finally and pressed herself to him. The warmth made him grunt in appreciation, his eyes finally shutting all the way, although it didn't stop him from feeling all her squirming. If he hadn't been so curious as to why she kept getting it, he would have fussed at her to stop. That, and he really didn't feel like another argument tonight.
When she finally settled down, he let out a relaxed sigh and shifted a bit to get comfortable, ready for sleep to swamp over him. What he didn't expect was for the strange feeling in his stomach to suddenly swarm up and put off his sleep-coma. He felt uneasy sleeping next to her, as if he had insects crawling around in his belly. He was kind of excited and uncomfortable all at once. It was a new feelings, for sure, but Aibisho didn't adjust well to new. He frowned deeply and tried to squish it down into the bottom of his thoughts.
Eventually, his body's need outweighed his mind's thoughts, and he began to drift off to sleep.
