Galleai smiled at Nataya. The smile didn't look quite at home on her face, as if she didn't get enough practice at it. Then again, she was a lot better at smiling than she had been. "Thank you." She responded to the compliment. "I'm called Galleai. I like your wings." Her own headwings flicked a bit and her smile relaxed into something more natural looking. From the corner of her eye she caught a flash of grey. "Rook!" Now she seemed to be positively beaming. "Rook, this is Nataya. Nataya, this is Rook." She pronounced the fairy girl's name carefully, as if she were afraid to trip over the syllables.

Golden eyes narrowed, Darsh surveyed the packed room. Emma had just sort of dropped him off and left him, telling him that it would be good for him and that he should go find his group. Well, he'd found it. But there was a big.. really big guy over there and Darsh was feeling just the slightest bit intimidated. Taking a deep breath, Darsh made his way over to where Chris and Ophelia and Skyler were clustered. "Hi." His expression was rather suspicious as he regarded the three others. "I'm Darsh."

Chris was being quiet, watching the others curiously to make sure no one was going to faint or run screaming at his first move. It was especially important with Rayne in the group, when she got there, that was. Every little startled moment she had resulted in her turning into a fox. Poor kid. And Rory would kill him if she was traumatized by the end of this.

"I like cooking," he said quietly to Skylar's idea. "We could do cakes in the school kitchen. Or if you wanted, I could make something and you guys could paint it."

"So what do you want to do, Morgan?" Kash asked him. "We could make jewelry! We'd need some beads and stuff, but I bet we could get them!"

"I'm really good at painting," volunteered Ophelia, perking up a bit. She had taken to wearing her apprentice pin on her jacket lapel as a mark of pride, though few outside of the Painters Assembly knew the significance of the emblem and tended to take it as simple decoration. Prosper, who openly disliked the council, had made a habit of giving her glares over breakfast, but she was proud to have passed that exam and earned her rank.

She gave Darsh's hand a friendly squeeze.

"I can definitely help paint, or draw? I can get us all kinds of art supplies from my dad."

Casia looked nervously around the gymnasium. Some of the teams were already forming. Where was hers? Feeling painfully conspicuous and out of place, the siren held her arms to her and pulled in her wings defensively. Suddenly, she startled at the sound of her group name being shouted, brown eyes darting around the room to alight on a girl that looked like she was aglow. Eager to at least belong somewhere, the siren rushed over and waved three fingers in the air. "Group three!" she said, reaching her teammate. "I'm here."

Elizabeth brushed her hair one more time and looked squarely at her guardian over the back seat of the car. She hated this stupid machine and wondered why it even worked since there wasn't any other kind of technology in the house. Maybe it worked on moonbeams, she thought in irritation. That would make sense, since even the phone was some kind of creepy orb.

She was glad to get out and run into the gym at the Liberty Center. Even though she didn't attend this school (yet, she thought, since she'd been talking to Eight about it in a Very Adult Way) she'd gotten a letter and well, here she was, glad for an opportunity to meet other kids who'd been born out of cabbages.

"Jewelry sounds fun," she said, uninvited, to her groupmates. She didn't catch their names, just where she was supposed to go- navigating the swarms of people had not been easy, being small but big at the same time, counting wingspan, even though that wasn't significant and etc etc. "Hi. I'm Elizabeth."

Rhye made it through the crowd of people, going to where the bright girl called group three's place. There was already another girl there, one with wings. "I'm here, too!" she announced with a grin, climbing up on the bleachers to join them, her fluffy tail waved behind her, keeping her balance as she did. "Name's Rhye."

Then she looked at the two for their names as well. If you asked her, she didn't know which was Casia and which was Orli. But she had the feeling once she learned it, she wouldn't be confused.

Chris was not an easy person to miss, not by a long shot. When Rayne was told to go to him for her group, she had no problem getting there. She gave a little wave at him, once at the group, standing next to Skylar.

Even if the nu mou child was different looking, he wasn't scary, therefore not a reason for her to startle. Then she looked at the other two and waved to them as well with a small "Ello." Rayne wasn't much of a talker.

Chris went even more quiet when Rayne got there, fighting the urge to pet her or something equally stupid. This was his not-quite-girlfriend's little sister, after all! That made her his not-quite--well, whatever. But he had been thinking it through.

"You don't like water, right?" he asked Skylar. "Well if you don't like water, we can't really bake cakes. There's a lot of water involved. And washing your hands a lot, too. But..." he thought for a moment. "We could make a place based on painted cakes. Ever seen the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?"

"Hi, Elizabeth, I'm Kashmira, but you can call me Kash," it had a juh at the end instead of the usual "cash" pronunciation. "And this is Morgan. So you don't mind doing jewelry? What type of jewelry do you guys want to make?"

Galleai did recognize Josh, although everyone looked just a little different in their dreams. She gave him a smile as well, feeling safe with the group. "Hello, Josh." She said before asking, "do we know what we're doing for our craft?"

Darsh continued to cling to Ophelia while he listened to Chris and the others talking about different ideas. At this point he didn't care what they did. At least not enough to be enthusiastic or rebellious. He liked crafts, therefore he would more than likely enjoy what everyone decided on. Far more interesting was the strange looking Skylar and the cute little Rayne. She reminded him a little of some of the animals Max had nursed back to health.
