I swear he just gets in these moods sometimes. He'll get over it, he always does. But I agree Kitty, he's really unfair. Makes me upset to think he's like that a lot of the time. :/

I honestly just think he doesn't know how to handle the Internet, or his fans. He references trolls like they're normal debaters, so clearly he hasn't spent any great length of time on a forum. The Internet has evolved to become a "second life" - it's no longer "nameless cowards" hiding in the dark recesses of a program used only by a fraction of the world... everyone is exposed to it. When legitimate news stations are referencing LOLCats, you know the line has been crossed.
I can understand getting worked up and throwing curse words and insults around - it's easy to get excited and upset, and if you feel threatened, of course you're going to have an explosive reaction. (Though, truly, I feel that the more people who listen to you, the more responsibility you have to adjust your way of speaking so that you are acting as a mature role model.) But throwing links and names around with the blatant intent of having your fans pursue others to flame/attack... it's ridiculous. Fred (one of his self-made enemies) has received death threats and people kept posting addresses they thought was his with the intention of harming his property... Yet even after Trent sees the chaos he's caused, he keeps egging his fans on.
He's a passionate person, I guess. He's got to have something to be pissed off at, because he just has SO MUCH going on in his heart and mind, it needs an outlet, something he can stand up against. He's just shoving his passion into a really, REALLY weird direction right now.
Or so says the fantasizing, plump and unattractive female. Lawl.
EDIT: I wish he had been born in more revolutionary times. He's got the heart to be a big social-changer if he had the head for social politics.

S'sort of cute. Even though he's abusing his power and maybe doesn't understand how much power/influence he has with his words, maybe.

Well, taking a break from it certainly helped me - maybe it will help Trent as well, since he's threatening to cease contact with his fans online.
It is kind of cute. I can imagine Trent sitting in his tour bus, puzzling and pissed off..
(The other guy is from Jane's Addiction, which he's touring with. And I gave Trent hair because he's so... blah without it.)

Dex and Lyle of Sanity Not Included is my new real person OTP. They are so ******** cute and screaming everywhere and everything but words. God damn, emo boy and angry probably asexual/heterosexual taller man. They're so obnoxious and violent when I think of them interacting with one another and not just over Skype and messengers.
