Even the most inaudible of whispered would be heard by the demon's ears. Hakyoku smiled a little and fell in step beside her. "You’re welcome," he said quietly understanding in his voice. Hakyoku flicked his sensitive ears as she spoke continuing forward. That was the only problem with having heightened senses… a loud voice was ten times louder. Hakyoku didn’t mention that.
"Thank you." Hakyoku responded with a slight uncertainty "You're really a strange one." he said quietly thinking to himself whether or not to give his reply her curiosity seemed genuine for once and he could see she was really interested. "I am from here." he answered glancing to the sky quickly "Though my father, grandfather and grandmother all came from different worlds." He paused watching her reaction.
"Have you ever heard of Youkai, Oni or wizards in your world?" he asked raising his brow. She certainly wasn't from this world either though she hadn't mentioned her own home.

She found it a bit unnerving that she didn't quite understand him. Her honeyed eyes were locked with infatuation on his dark and feminine features, tails swishing behind her like leaves in a gentle and wafting breeze. There was a bizarre moment where she felt a bit unlike herself, but she traveled back to familiarity when he thanked her and she gave him her signature grin; although it faltered and fell (like a soldier at war) to a pout when he commented on her lack of normality. "You know what...." Fuu started, but her complaint was trapped in her throat like a caged bird when he began to answer her question.
She suddenly smiled again.
The girl turned her head with uncertainty to look at a nearby tree, however, when he mentioned that his roots were from different worlds, overall. Not this again; 'Mister Xanul-Glow-Buttocks' had spoken of the same thing, hadn't he?
What Fuu didn't understand peeved her.
But she let it go when he queried whether or not she had ever heard of certain terms. She brought her gaze back upon him swiftly, her mouth opening to reply: "My mother used to tell me of the demons of her past. The demons of my father's, and grandfather's; but somehow I don't believe that those are the ones you are talking about?" She furrowed her brows at him wonderingly.
Her home was something that wasn't worth mentioning; mainly because she had none.

Hakuoku shook his head as she looked at a nearby tree he was about to explain he had only meant this world, not the tree he’d dropped from. He watched her expression change rather rapidly; she was grinning, then confused, frustrated, annoyed till her expression finished with another smile. Fuu's emotions changed so quickly nearly confusing the stoic half demon.
He decided to try and explain the other worlds again, in a different way.
“Didn’t you, like many of the others suddenly wake up with furry paws and a tail?” he inquired “didn’t you used to have hands?” He tilted his head questioningly toward Fuu “Didn't you find yourself separated from the people you knew?" Maybe asking her a few questions might help.
“Not quite…” he wondered how best to explain “perhaps they would be known as myths in your world creatures that wreaked havoc, terrorized people, caused some disease and famine, or when something was wrong the youkai and oni where blamed.” Most kitsu hadn’t seen a demon before so it was difficult hard to explain it would have been easier if he had a book from his grandfather’s library “Demon’s from my father’s world don’t appear in this one...” at least not too often he added silently.

There it was again; evidently the most commonly asked question in regards to something she could hardly call a theory. "Of course I woke up with furry paws and a tail. Everyone does. Well, maybe not necessarily the fur at first, but ya get the picture." She replied frankly, her ears flattened to her head with uncertainty. She skipped over the second question for lack of knowledge and a good answer, moving on to reply to the third, "And I did find myself separated from the friends I know - and love - but tons of us have to face that problem daily. It doesn't mean I came from some other world." Fuu knitted her brows together contemplatively. She couldn't understand where the inquiry came from, and understood less why it was so popular. Her mother had been born exactly the same way she had; and, far as she knew, such was the same with her entire ancestry.
Perhaps she was the one who was different, then?
She supposed she would never be sure, now; what with her complete and recent lack of a family.
Fuu smiled largely again when he began to explain himself, but frowned for a moment when he mentioned 'her world' again. The young female let the term slide, however, because he spoke the exact definition that her mother had when Fuu was young; when the older woman was discussing the demon that had made her sick and the angel that was going to put her out of her misery.
But they weren't fond memories, and so she brushed them away briskly.
"Demons from your father's world?" She showed all of her pearly teeth again and said, "I wonder what they're like. Hopefully they aren't anything like you; 'cause then I would want to tuck all of them in my pockets for safekeeping. And I highly doubt I have enough pockets."
