I feel so left out...
I have never drawn an eye on my ankle or tried to... It would make me feel like Count Olaf, even though some good guys had them, too.
However, I have started a collection of objects 'good for inventions'! I do use them every once in a while for inventions when I'm feeling frisky. The objects, so far, include an old leather belt, some large sleigh bells, spring-locked triggers, clothesline hooks, and empty spools of thread, among other things.
I think that qualifies me as a Lemony Snicket freak-fan after all...

I just got myself a nice, clean white shirt, and I'm decorating it with SOUE stuff. I'll show you whne I have a chance to take a picture of it. It has the VFD logo really big in the front, and I want to put a pic of the children in the middle, but I can't find a good picture of them anywhere. crying

Oddly enough, I had a commonplace book before they were mentioned in the Snicket series. I used it to keep track of characters and plot ideas for my own stories.
I spend a lot of time watching for papers blowing in the wind, though, and sometimes I actually chase them down hoping to find a secret message.

I never find papers flying in the wind, but I think I will chase them if I had the chance.

I've never drawn an eye on my ankle though thats giving me ideas...*runs off to get pen*.
I did have a common place note book on my computer and really must write it down before I lose it sweatdrop I try to talk to my friends about the books but most of them don't have a clue who Violett is let alone about the sebald code.

Every time a new book comes out, my friends and I read it ASAP and then discuss/speculate on the new plot twists.

In 5th grade, I was really obsessed with ASOUE. I started my own commonplace book, practiced drawing the eye, and actually did all the things that they told me to do in the Unofficial Guide to Lemony Snicket's FAQ, like listening for the crickets outside at night and telling my parents that there was a noise outside my window.

Back in elementary school, when I became obsessed with things, I'd be REALLY obsessed. Now, I'm still obsessed with things, but at least I know how to separate fact from fiction.

Every so often though, I still practice drawing the eye on papers, especially when I'm in school and there's a paper in front of me.

I occasionally sneak Sebald Code into school assignments, but that's about it for my fanboyism.

I've dabbled in Sebald Code and have notes about clues written on various scraps of paper (not blowing in the wind thankfully smile ) I've doodled VFD-ish people and the insignia in notebooks. I am currently planning on writing a letter to Mr. Snicket and going all out to not only make the letter look cool (burn the edges, tea dye it) but to do all I can to make it known I am a volunteer not a villian! ^_^

I started a commonplace notebook once, but my sister kept grabing it from me and laughing at it. sad
