Dancer had been listening just out of sight. She also heard the open send to come get the fish and was going to do so. She was glad to see Savith handle the Wavedancer so well but it still bothered her like a pesky blood sucking bug how the water elfess acted. Before Fathom could leave Dancer called sweetly to her. "Oh Fathom don't go just yet. I would so like a moment of your time."

Fathom paused for a moment then took to a more relaxed pose. Not really wanting to stay but deciding to do so because the Cat Elfess was important to Crosscurrent. Out of respect for him she heard the one he chose to waste his time with at times. Propping her arms up against the edge of the pool she waited for Dancer to get closer. "Greetings Catfish." she smiled but the conversation that had just happened a moment ago made the welcome sound a bit fake and cold.

Smiling as Dancer often is she walked over to Fathom and knelt down sitting on her feet. "Greetings to you as well Fathom. I trust your day is going well for you." As she speaks Dancer runs a finger lightly over the elfess cheek then watches her hand.

The touch to her face made Fathom lift a brow. She looked at the hand then looked at Dancer then back to the hand again. "My day is well enough. What are you doing though?" A bit of curiosity sounding in her voice now.

As Dancer moved to sit on her rump she shrugged a bit. "I was just seeing if you were like the many leaf hoppers from my homeland. See they are normally very bright and beautiful. Full of inviting color." She chuckles softly as she remembers when Blaze first saw the small creatures. "But when you touch them the skin holds a deadly poison that will kill you in heartbeats if not treated swiftly." Her smile faded a bit as she waited to see what Fathom might say or do.

Fathom also frowned slightly. "Are you saying I am poisonous? That if one touches me they might die? How dare you." She pulled from the side of the pool away from Dancer.

Fire Bright came to lie on the ground near Dancer and cleaned his paws quietly as she spoke. "No, but I had to be sure seeing how your words are very poisonous to all of us. Trust that we will all stand up for all the gliders in our small group and I will be the first to say Savith has a good heart. I know he has done horrific things and that he has to live with those things for the rest of his days. I am also sure his mind cuts him deeper then any of your poorly chosen words." She smiled as if remembering something fond and scratches her tiger. "Still you are free to say what you wish but just know you aren't making us turn on him. You are only making everyone here on land dislike you." Her tone was calm. Much calmer then normal for her. Maybe all the quiet time with Savith was helping her as well.

Her mouth clamped in a tight line for a moment as Fathom tried hard to think of some quick cut for the catfish. It couldn't be done without upsetting her now chief, Crosscurrent. Fathom turned her back to Dancer and huffed loudly. "Well, you are all fools. He will turn on you at the drop of a thought. It is only your own fault if such a thing happens and you all find yourself in the clutches of true evil." With that said she thrashed her tail violently and made her way back to the embrace of the deep.

Dancer just smiled to herself really and let the comment go unanswered. There was that chance after all that Savith might one day betray their friendship. It wouldn't be the first time he hurt her and most likely not the last but let what happen might happen come. Dancer was confident in her friend and none would shake that.
