Lightning struck a pair of zanpakto's and bounced off. The blades hissed and sizzled with the power, BUt Shadow had just barely deflected that attack. His body was drained, as he was unable to use his Shikai, but it was enough for the moment. Shadow stood with his zanpakto out and ready, his face calm and collected. "Yin. Get Soma out as quickly as possible." He knew that if this didn't go well, he would be dead, but he had no choice. "I've sent word to the other members of squad 5, and they should be here soon."




(secretly, Lanfaer is Lightning element oriented, so can absorb and redirect lightning. Just sucks that Shadow can't control that at will stare )

"Soma. Though we've been tricked. We did commit sins. We've attacked fellow Shinigami. I've attacked you and you attacked Durissa and Akuma." He witnessed the attack on the prison and only shook his head. These shinigami would get themselves killed trying to save someone who might be spared during the trial. If all the captains of the soul society stood on their behalf then they would be allowed some mercy during the trial. But Kaen, Shadow, and whoever tried freeing Soma were only harming him. Central 46 would look at this as assisting a fugitive which is treason. "Soma you might want to tell your subordinates to stop while their at it before they don't here either of us out. They'll look at us this time with doing damage to the Seretei and we'll have no say so regardless of who speaks on our behalf. Right now will be executed at this point if they don't stop here."

Soma heard what Oruga said. In the end he was right and Yin and Shadow need to be calm. Before Soma started drinking his saki he said to Yin and Shadow.

"Both of you calm down. There is no need to fight with Kaen. We need you to calm down and hold your zanpakuto's from fighting. This isn't your battle. Even though he is going to be the enemy we need not engage him in battle just yet."

Soma then turned towards Oruga and placed his right hand on the ground and said to him.

"Sorry Oruga no, matter what you say your experiment against me wasn't an attack. I agreed to be apart of the experiment so really you have no reason to be in here. Don't argue either Oruga your innocent you didn't attack a shinigami."

Soma started thinking to himself before he answered Rednal. As he though about his comments Soma removed his right hand from the ground and placed them both togethr as he closed his eyes and said to Rednal.

"My comments, are that Oruga is innocent. Im going to say that I was set up by Kazei, Jouka, Hitoma, and Delosuke. They are all the ones who set me up. As for Durissa and Akuma my heart goes to them that they will heal better. I attacked Durissa and Akuma in the attempts to shield Jouka from being trailed. I shielded him because he was apart of my squad, if I wouldn't have been a captain who cared about his squad members I wouldn't have done it. This showed me that he couldn't be trusted. Its funny to see that he is out there free instead of in here with me. My story still stands, At the time these attacks started I was in a battle with an Arrancar."

Rednal nodded as he took down the comments. He was keeping his opinions on the matter to himself; the job of Internal Investigations was to find the facts and present them to the appropriate person or persons, not to be the judges themselves of whatever events occured. Though it was interesting to see the conclusions drawn from the written report already submitted to the Captain-Commander... a report that had not been modified, since Rednal hadn't let go of it until it had been delivered personally to the big boss. Still, the raving Shinigami was providing a fairly good case to get Captain Soma free. If Rednal had still been his real self, he probably would have gone after the raving one. But nowadays, he was just Gilgamesh, a nobody reporter for 10th Division, not a living legend. Watching was ever so much more fun for him, and the people who ran things nowadays were quite capable of taking care of themselves without his help. "I don't suppose you'd mind giving me that disk? I think it'll be interesting evidence to present to the Courts." Rednal said cheerfully. It was worth a try. "Also, I'd like to ask you to turn yourself in and give a statement; the Courts have shown mercy before, and you might only get a hundred-year prison sentence. Otherwise, they'll probably send 2nd Division after you, and since now it'll be known who you are, hiding won't work for very long..." Peaceful solutions were always the best. Though, granted, Rednal judged perhaps a 1% chance (if that high) of the crazed man actually surrendering. Regulations were regulations, though, and the man was supposed to be given the chance, even if it was all but guaranteed he wouldn't take it. The goal of a judicial system was to seek justice, not decide it.

In a way Oruga pitied Soma. The only way the man knew how th escape the situation was through lies. But what he failed to understand was the more he lied the further it pushed them both to execution. Oruga would admit to attacking Soma through a secret experiment. Even though Soma claimed so, the man didn't know of the experiment and he did not agree to anything as there was no proof of that. Besides a man like himself wouldn't drink poison right before he went into battle with hollows let alone arrancar. Oruga had attacked Soma and Soma had attacked Durissa and Akuma. He could fix it in his mind however he wanted but that's just what happened. No matter what the cameras saw this was the truth and unlike Soma Oruga would take his punishment like a real man instead of lying through it. "Do what you wish. We both know you didn't agree to anything because only two people knew of the experiment including myself. True Kazei did set us up but your attacks were of your own choice and so were mine. No one gave you orders to do it so in court you might wanna consider telling the truth. You as well as the rest know right after the battle with the arrancar your attacks on Durissa and Akuma were started leaving them almost killed. Defeating lies with more lies is just silly and hopeless so I suggest you straighten up before the trial." Oruga said looking back at the exiting Kaen. This man created all this commotion and didn't achieve a single thing. Cameras were watching everything he did. His lies were all useless for the fact that when Soma was lying on the ground Kaen was one of the shinigami facing off against Kazei and his crew. The cameras had caught all of this.

Despite what had just taken place the zero division captain decided to leave it in the captains of the guard squads hands. It wasn't any of her business and she wouldn't get further involved. Once this trial was over with she would go back to her duties as protecting the king. When she made it to the cells of the two suspects she nodded at the guards which signaled them to unlock the doors to the cell. Once they were free the other guards would bind them by the wrist and neck and lead them to court room of central 46. "Hi guys! I'm taking you to the central 46 chambers." She said finally revealing a cheery and gigglish tone. Her entire personality had seemed to change in a split second of time for some reason. "Have you been good boys? I hope so are the 46 people will be mad. Teehee. Come on let's go see." She skipped away and lead the guards who bound Oruga and Soma behind to the chambers of central 46.
