Xunner's eye lit up a bit at the agreeance to drink. Or rather, at the suggestion of over indulgance. Perhaps a little more alcohol would be needed to slip Xar'zith into the same bed? He could be a good little demonsoul. Really he could. He could limit himself to just a little bit of exploration on the drunken male.
Xunner's lips cracked into a happy grin. "Well then. I say we indulge a bit. We've both had a hellish employment after all. We can certainly have a good conversation about the fellows in the group too." Xunner had to fight off the urge to throw his arm around Xar's shoulders, so instead he slipped his thumb into the waist of his low riding pants.
"Do we want them to actually survive their torment?"

Xar'zith caught a rather strange look in Xunner's eyes at the mention of drinks. What was the demonologist plotting now? Xar warily stretched out his tight muscles and tried to look as though he hadn't noticed the other's strange out of world musing. Whatever the demonologist was plotting it definitely could not be good. Xar was usually pretty good in picking up on other's perverted looks, and the one that Xunner had shot at him at been rather unsettling.
"Indulging is fine, as long as we don't over indulge too much." Xar replied, feeling rather unsure of the male now pacing next to him.
There was something off putting about him. Xar wasn't sure if it was the fact that he was of a career that he felt dangerous or it was something to do with that odd look he had shot at Xar earlier.
"Not all of them..but a few. There were a few of them that were actually nice to me over the years. But the leader..no. He deserves what's coming to him." Xar muttered back in a rather cold tone.
He was rather relieved to see a bar within several yards from them, and slightly sped up his pace. Trying not to appear too eager to indulge in spirits. It had been too long since he last had the opportunity to do so...the merc troop had pretty much forbidden him from doing so every time they had entered a city. They had claimed that they had allowed him to do so once, and the result had been a catastrophe in the end. Xar had never really believed it, figuring they had just made it up so he would be their good little guard dog for the wagons.

Xunner did not detect right away the slight unease in Xar. Peverted thoughts aside, he was busily taking stock of his possible options in concern with their little revenge. There were so many options! Though sadly many of them required him to be present for the casting. He supposed that he could just use his imp to deliver the curseings and such. The nasty little b*****d would be relieved to get out of his containment and become active once more.
It was as he was dreaming up the various ugly curses he could inflict, that Xar sped up his steps. Xunner blinked his purple eye and lifted his head a little bit to see that their destination had become visable. Xunner also sped up his steps, though he found that in doing so it caused his hair to brush back from his face. That he did not care for in the least, as the ugly scar carved over his eye area and into his cheek was easily visable, along with the almond shaped emerald that had been fitted into the empty socket. Yet he did not want to slow down and lag behind. So he switched his staff to his other hand and placed his palm over his face self consciously so he could keep pace.
Upon reaching the tavern, Xunner would flicker his purple eye down towards Xar'Zith. "It occures to me that our plotting will have to be swift. The odds that our past companions will remain in this city beyond a night or two is not in our favor, and I need at least one night of solid rest before I begin my spells. The more time we have to act the more of them we can strike at."

Xar'zith came to a stop outside of the tavern, a frown flitting across his face. "I agree. Though..it may be sooner than you think. This happens to be their haunt of choice."
He ran his hand through his hair in frustration. Then turned to look up into Xunner's purple eye. "So..what sort of curses could you use on them without much preparation?"
He was rather curious to know if the demonologist would be able to work magic quickly enough to bring about a fitting revenge on those who had wronged him. Though he hated being on the wrong side of mages and those who wielded power, he couldn't help but look forward to a bit of revenge. Then again..most drow couldn't help themselves in that matter..it was a part of a drow's nature.

"Well now..."Xunner said as he drew up short outside the building. "That puts me right on the spot now doesn't it?" His remaining eye fell upon Xar where he stood looking up at him.
"I can bestow a few curses. But they will know exactly who did it as I have no time to prepare. I can strike a few blind I suppose. That will neatly end their lives as sure as a blade between the ribs. Ah...I could make one or two impotent....I'm sure you know which ones that would be agony for."
Xunner paused then, and he reached his free hand up to begin twisting at one of the decorative beads in his hair. he had come here thinking perhaps to become more physically intimate with Xar'zith. Now while the plotting if pain and agony infliction on those he did not like would be exciteing. He worried that if he went too far it would seriously hinder his attempts to get the young and small male in a state of undress.
Unless...this sort of thing excited him? Xar's eye shifted to look upon and guage Xar's reaction to his suggestions. "I could possibly summon a demon to possess the caravan master if he is within, but I would definatly need time for that. And I'd need to know what sort of demon to place in him. Such as...do we want one that will completely dominate his mind and take possession of his life with him as a helpless bystander? Or one that will devoure him from the inside in a manner most painful? Or I could put one in his head that will make him go on a bloody rampage until he is cut down...?"

"I suppose it does." Xar agreed..waiting to hear what Xunner's ideas were for dealing with his old mates.
"Curses...no..that wouldn't do. I'd rather they not really know who did it. Blindness is a good idea..it would leave them helpless..and having to beg." He replied after Xunner paused.
Xar'zith stared at the demonologist rather wide eyed at his words not really knowing how to respond. "Uh..I don't know. Whichever you think is best." He replied shrugging. He didn't really want to make a the decision that destroyed the man..he just wanted to be there when the man went down for being such an a**.
"Perhaps..we should wait until we can plan revenge better?" he asked rather tentatively. "There have to be other bars around here where we can plot their demise." He added...hoping it would be enough to make the other wait on dishing out any sort of revenge on those who had wronged him.

He appeared to be shying away. Perhaps he was a man of as little action as he was of words? He'd rather plot and imagin the sweetness of such vengence rather then indulge in it? Something curled within Xunner and he had to swallow down the urge to growl So, as Xar'zith gave him his wide eyed look, the mage slipped his step's to come up behind the smaller male. With his free hand, he reached down in an attempt to place it on Xar's shoulder, and he leanded down so he could whisper into that pretty ear.
"I am sure you have an idea Xar'zith. After so many years of dealing with them. Having to endure their constant annoyance. having to listen to that fat b*****d order you around. Surely there is some part of you that has a vauge idea of what you would like to happen." Other bar...hmmm...perhaps another bar would be a good idea...or..
"Why don't we go rent a room here. It will be much easier for me to work my magic on them if they are near to us..."

Xar'zith grew rather indignant at the other's words. It was as though the demonologist thought he was chickening out on the whole thing, when in fact he wasn't. He just liked to be cautious about dealing with magic, especially magic that dealt with demons. He shuddered slightly, remembering his past experience again.
"Of course I have ideas, Xunner." Xar shot back with a wide scowl. "I would just rather not speak of them out where others can hear!"
He fell silent until he heard Xunner's next words. "Fine then. Let's do that. I'll rent the damn room, and you can wait a bit and then join me. I'll signal you from upstairs so you know what room it is. If they see us together..they might get wind that we're plotting revenge." Xar replied.
Then without any further words Xar slid inside the bar, and went about getting a room for the evening. It didn't take more than a few moments, whispered words and then he was pointed to the stairs and going towards the room. Once to the room, he unlocked the door, slid inside, and glided over to the window which hung over the street where he had left Xunner waiting. He leaned out of the window slightly to sign directions to the effeminate drow and then closed the curtains and waited patiently inside for Xunner to join him.

Xunner's thin lips parted into quite the pleased expression. Maybe having spent so much time with Xar had given him a bit better insight into how to motivate the male. Xunner placed his hand upon his hip and he watched the attractive male strm off.
"MMmmm Fiesty." Xunner murmured after Xar had vanished into the building. His black tongue flickered over his lips a moment later. Oh what a cute and utterly devourable male! Xunners eyes lifted then and he waited for Xar to eventually appear in the window and signal him. With a tiny nod of his head..Xunner sauntered his way into the bar.
Inside, he lifted his head. Proudly walking across the floor, he ignored the presence of the other drow. He could have gone strait up..but first... Eh- heh...
When Xunner lightly tapped upon the door to the room that Xar had rented, he was not empty handed. Oh no. In one hand he held his staff of course, but in the other he gripped a bottle of cheap wine. There had gone his last coppers, but that hardly mattered to Xunner. "So then...Shall you invite me in?"

Xar'zith bit at his bottom lip as he waited silently for Xunner to make it up the stairs. He gazed around the room..and was slightly bothered by the large bed that took up most of the room. He frowned and rubbed his chin in frustration. It was almost as if Xunner had been trying to get him to be with him in private..was that because he had an attraction towards him? Oh gods. He'd just played into Xunner's hands not even knowing it. He sighed and resigned himself to very pointedly having a discussion about it with the demonologist as soon as possible. There was no reason why the two couldn't be friends..but there was definitely no way he was going to be Xun's lover.
He looked up at the tap that came to the door, frowning slightly once more. Why didn't he just come in? It wasn't as though Xar wasn't expecting him. The words that filtered in slightly lowered by the barrier of the door made Xar roll his eyes. Ah...so Xunner was going there was he? Well..at least he had a choice. He strode over to the door and leaned against it as he composed himself a bit before he spoke.
"I don't know...should I? You seem to have an idea of what you want of me but you won't come outright and say it. I prefer when drow are outright with their intentions instead of trying to be subtle about it, Xunner." Xar'zith spoke through the door.

Hmmm... Xunner looked at the still closed door. And...it was still closed. He could hear Xar's words inside and..well..he blew a silent sigh and rolled his eye up as he leaned against the wall outside the door. Crossing his arms, he held the bottle of wine off to the side and looked at the door firmly. "Xar'zith, have I been anything but outright with you in the past? Whose' idea was it to come here in the first place? And whose idea was it to cast these spells on the men below? Now, if we are going to do any plotting you really need to let me into that room so I can put up the proper spells."

Xar'zith scowled from his side of the door but didn't make a move to open the door. "I'm not talking business matters at the moment Xunner..and you know that. I want to know what your 'other' intentions towards me are. I am not opening the door until you come outright and say it..and not a moment sooner. If you can't do that than I might as well call this whole thing off! I know I damn well owe you a great favor for being the cause of your disfigurement but I'm damned well not going to allow you to use me for your perverted pleasures or games. So you'd better get that through your thick skull right now!" Xar leaned against the door on his side and crossed his arms the defiant scowl still scrawled across his face.

Xunner placed the fingers of his empty hand against his temple and began to gently rub at his temple. He supposed he could just blast the door in. He had a spell that would allow him to do that. A nice clock to the head and Xar'Zith would be too dizzied to put up a fight. Mmmm. He could have him naked and pinned in a circle in moments. Xunners purple eye glimmered as he looked at the door. A twisted smile upon his face...though it faded a bit. If he did that the most he could hope for was one ot two nights of rape. Maybe three if he was gentle.
Three possible nights would not be long enough to work through this lust. It had been building since he had first seen Xar'zith and he had to satisfy it. So...being to overly forwards was only going to lead to a problem. Sighing silently to himself a second time he tried to push down the growling urge to merely stalk in and take what he wanted. "Xar'Zith. I have no intention of useing you in any 'games' as you may believe. Hmmmph. You also owe me for more then just my disfigurement. If it wasn't for me you'd be dead right now. I did not have to save your life. I could have obliterated those monsters with a single area effect spell. But instead I used lesser spells to ensure your little black hide did not go up in flames as well. Now, are you going to let me in or must I stay standing out here longer? I'm still a bit weak limbed from the healing I went through."

Xar'zith shifted feeling rather uncomfortable at the other's words. While he could have easily kept his position all night long completely unfazed and unmoving, Xunner was still dealing with the loss of blood and the loss of his eye. Not to mention Xunner was still having to process everything that had happened to hima nd come to terms with it. Xar knew if he were in the other's shoes he'd be having self doubts about his ability to continue on in his chosen career. There was no doubt in Xar's mind thaat this was probably one of the major dilemma's that was going through Xunner's mind.
Xunner definitely didn't need the drama that Xar had started or the threats. What he needed the most in such a tumultuous time in his life was a friend who would listen to him and help him deal with such self doubts. When Xar realized this he slumped against the door and berated himself silently for his part in the accident. If he hadn't been there, Xunner definitely would have come out on top of the hooked horrors and not come away with any wounds. Especially the one that now marred his pretty face.
Xar cursed his rogue nature, knowing fully well it was the cause that had brought about the marred features of the other male. If only he had ignored his longing to be alone..and had woken the other that fateful morning..things would have turned out differently. Somehow he was going to have to deal with these feelings and change his nature so that Xunner could depend on him more.
Xar turned around and pulled the door open slightly to peer out, and found himself staring straight into the deep depths of Xunner's purple eye. He stared blankly for a few moments, having completely lost his train of thought at what he saw in the other's eye. Xunner seemed...so subdued and not at all like his usual over the top self.
"Ah...you're right. I'm sorry for my actions. I'm sorry that you had to suffer for them. I should be more of a friend to you than I have been. I apologize deeply for that." Xar paused to take a deep breath and compose his jumpy nerves before he pulled the door open wider to allow Xunner entrance to the room.
"I'm used to working by myself..so this companionship is something new to me. I hope I can change..and I hope you will allow me time to get used to having you around. I tend to get a bit jumpy when another male shows any sign of interest in me. Blame my past for that."

Zar'zith was un-naturally keen on some things. Xunner was feeling a bit light limbed and light headed. despite the rage of lust that had flared up, his body was effectively telling him 'NO' in accordance to doing anything more that would get his heart raceing anymore. As a matter of fact...all his peverted and lustful thoughts from before were rapidly vanishing the longer he was made to stand outside the door.
Xunner slumped just a small bit against the wall, his pride would not allow him to use his staff to hold himself up. Reguardless of the fact he felt a few beads of sweat upon his brow. Why hadn't Xar said anything yet? Was the assassin ignoreing him now because he did not own up to his peversion? Perhaps he was, or perhaps he was not. The door opened after the silence, and he found himself looking into Xar's pretty blue eye. Thank the abyss. If he had been made to stand out there any longer he'd have had to resort to sitting there and popping the bottle of wine open just for himself.
Xunner straitened his posture, and as Xar worked his way through his apology, Xunner walked himself into the room and made directly for the bed. Xar seemed to be...apologizeing. It seemed to Xunner, as he sat upon the bed and leaned his shoulders against the headboard, that Xar was carrying a bit of guilt. Why else would he be apologizeing for his actions? For making Xunner suffer. Hnnn...
Xunner twisted the cork off the bottle of wine, and lifted it to his lips to take a slow swallow. "If I am....too intnese..." Xunner began, then paused. How could he use this? How could he best work this to his advantage without revealing his own weakness? Xunner set the wine bottle down on a small plain table and placed his hand over the wounded side of his face.
"Xar'zith. I do not know what you want." He slowly spoke. His purple eye fixed on the male steadily. "Why are you working with me at all? Really? I'll just be holding you back. Your skillful and used to working alone as you just said. Any company would pick you up, if nothing more then as another capable body to throw in the grinder. If you drag a one eyed mage along, still recovering from his last lost battle, the odds of anyone accepting you is slimmer. So, if you are not still with me because of some unspoken attraction, which is what I had been under the impression of. What is it?"
