Chasz'zar ignored his brothers words, realizing that they were only half true. Sure..they didn't care about much until they saw something that they wanted and then the riffraff would attempt whatever they could to procure the item. Chasz smoothed his clothes slightly, as though he were ridding himself of unwanted dirt.
Chasz'zar frowned when he felt, rather than saw Solmur'ss wave to someone in front of them. Something was going on..something he hadn't figured into the picture. His fears were confirmed when a rather strange male grinned broadly at him and said his name and gestured for him to come closer. Chasz frowned and backed up..saying loud enough for Solmur to hear in the tumultuous noise in the building. "How does he know my name and what is he talking about brother?"
When no answer came, Chasz turned around to look for Solmur'ss only to find that his brother had used a disappearing act on him. Chasz swore, and glanced around..finally realizing just why he was in the bar for the first time. Solmur had tricked him into coming with a false story and had put him up for some sort of humility laced job in the bar!
When he noted the animousity in the eyes of the male dancers in the wings of the stage area did he realize just what that job was. He put both hands up in protest saying to the male. "I'm sorry..you're mistaken..I never signed up for this. This is all Solmur'ss doing."
Chasz got a sinking feeling that the other male wasn't going to let him go without stripping and making an embarrassment of himself in front of the entire rabble of riffraff in the bar. Oh..he was going to kill Solmur when he found him next!

Solmur'ss watched, nudging his way through the crowd. Chasz sure caught on quick! He was currently trying to persuade Guldiin that there was a misunderstanding. Solmur'ss strained to listen nervously. Would Guldiin buy it?
He better not, this event had to be worth the effort! And also worth the pain that would probably be coming for Solmur'ss afterwords. Maybe he would take a little business trip away from the House for a week. Solmur'ss would have to figure that out later, right now he had a prank to see through to embarrassing completion.
Guldiin was huffing mad. "Oh no! You're getting back there." He was gesturing towards the curtain.
Solmur'ss sidled around by a few females who were definitely within shouting distance of Guldiin and Chasz. He needled them to encourage the shy performer. They raised their voices to express some questionable thoughts about what Chasz might look like sans armor. Solmur'ss couldn't help but grin when the shouts seemed to embolden Guldiin.

Chasz'zar was going to turn around and leave when the other male's words caused him to startle and turn to look around the room. It didn't take long for the crowd of females to realize that he was trying to get out of the job and begin to shout at him to stop being a wuss and get it over with. Some even had the gall to say that he didn't want to do it because he was too scrawny under his armor.
Chasz'zar was beginning to get mad. How dare they! To call him less than he was in form was an insult. Chasz gritted his teeth, and suddenly launched himself up onto the stage causing the male to step back in surprise. Chasz strode over to him, putting his face right into the others and growled in a low voice. "Stand off. You want me to do the job..I will do it as I see fit."
Then...much to the delight of the crowd he began to strip out of his armor, letting it fall at his feet. Once his armor was off he pulled his tunic off; revealing a very buff muscular chest. He tossed the tunic at the now gaping males at the back of the stage and began to dance to the music that was now playing.
His movements were rhythmic, eye catching, and very sensual. Chasz had closed his eyes by now and wasn't paying attention to the crowd around him; choosing to focus on his dance instead. The sounds of the females shouting at him, the laughter, the clanging glasses were zoned out as he imagined an empty room with only one present. The strangely beguiling and alluring Shi'nstra.

Solmur'ss's eyes almost popped from his head. His brother was.. what? Quite a crowd pleaser. Well, he had certainly gotten caught by the taunting. Thank Lolth for the vain pride of a drow. That had worked impeccably at least, but now Chasz was not even remotely as awkward nor embarrassed as Solmur'ss had foreseen. No shy looks. Nothing hesitant at all. While maybe his brother was not enjoying his new job, his rhythmic natural movements said the drow had done this sort of thing before.
The crowd was shouting in support of the dancer now as they had quickly forgotten their complaints the moment his armor came off. Guldiin himself seemed very pleased. Solmur'ss could imagine the money figures dancing in his friend's mind as he watched the warrior perform. The success was great in way. The crowd could make it hard for their new favorite performer to run off without some encore. If so, hopefully Solmur'ss would have time to run off first. His nervous eyes were already scoping out a path to the exit.
The bounty hunter frowned as he noticed something. That was cheating wasn't it? Closing your eyes? It was this crowd which horrified Chasz and there he was closing his eyes to get away from it. Sol smirked and snagged a sizeable coin from a female while her attention was sharply on Chasz's dance.
The coin arched high over the crowd and thwapped Chasz in the chest. He needed a little jerk back to the reality of his situation.

Chasz'zar immediately responded to the offending smart to his chest, and instinctively reached up with his left hand to catch whatever had hit him. He paused for a moment to look at the gold piece in his hand before his face reverted to a disgruntled look. He stood stock still and regarded the crowd with a rather disapproving glare..which much to his surprise caused a lot of them to quiet down at his sudden change of mood.
"Hey! If you want to give me to dance, don't be hitting me with the coin! If you do it again I won't continue." Chasz'zar retorted loudly, eyeing the crowd coldly and then thrusting the gold at the fellow that had tried to get him to work before. "I think..you've had enough of my services for the night. If your customers can restrain themselves...I might return. If not..don't count on me coming back. I'm not a puppet on strings and I'm not going to be treated as such."

Solmur'ss groaned. His brother really did not take anything well. But.. he thought about the words he had just heard. "I might return." Had Chasz really said that? Well that was a strange turn.
Guldiin was rapidly groveling, "No, no," He pointed to the money at the edge of the stage that people had left for Chasz, "I am sure they weren't trying to hit you. But they do get excited. Just wait.."
He held up his hat and wedged himself in the crowd. "Hey! We can't let our new dancer go home empty handed!" He jostled a female for her paltry offering, "You know, he can't look that good if he's starving.."
Solmur'ss shook his head with a bewildered smile. His prank had turned into something nearly positive. Close enough to it. (Positive according to a shebali's curious interpretation of events.) His older brother was far out of his comfort zone, but looking very much in control of himself and stronger for it. Sol's own ever greedy eyes were picking up on the impressive amount of money Guldiin was taking in.

Chasz'zar glare softened slightly at the sight of the other male groveling to him. He cocked his head to the side, letting his gaze turn towards the edge of the stage, seeing that the crowd had indeed been leaving quite a sum of gold for him. He wasn't prepared in the least bit for the other male to practically launch himself into the crowd and half beg for gold from the patrons. It was..rather..eye opening.
Was he really as good as they all thought? Chasz turned around to glance at the resident male dancers..and could see the anger brimming in their eyes and their bodies as they regarded him stiffly. He must be. The other dancers wouldn't be so mad if he had been horrible at it..he knew that much.
Well...maybe..this could prove to be a lucrative side job for him. The Matron didn't have to know that he was working as a dancer..though..what would Shi'nstra think were she to find out? That thought was enough for Chasz to frown. He did NOT want to make her regard his standing less than she did. That would not do at all.
But his brother Sol was another matter...Chasz decided when his eyes alit on his brother out in the crowd. Oh..payback would be sweet. "Let's give it up for Solmur'ss!" He yelled pointing to his brother, and evil gleam in his eyes...what goes around comes around. "If you think I'm a good dancer..he's even better!" He yelled loudly..once more pointing him out..and then added. "Come now Sol..don't be shy! You know you want to entertain the ladies just as much as I did. Come on ladies..encourage him a little..help him up on stage!"

Huh? Sol'murss thought quickly. His brother had turned the situation around on him. That wasn't bad in itself. But it would also put him in a very bad spot if his brother's temper turned foul again. Maybe his brother wanted to lure him closer. He grimaced and took a deep breath.
Sol had needed to be a good actor to get out of things more often than he liked. Tonight would be no different. If he was going to dance, he was not going to make it easy for anyone. The rogue grabbed a mug of something or other alcoholic from a male as he worked his way through the crowd. He took a long swill of the drink and splashed plenty of it on his chest in a sloppy motion.
He bumped up against the stage, waving up at his brother. "Sure, you know I like the ladies," He belched and looked around for Guldiin, "Do you know who I am? Hey!"
Guldiin came over with a very confused look across his dark face, "What are you trying to pull? I should kick you out of here, Sol.." His friend seemed to know better than to believe Sol was this drunk. Sol'murss assumed that Chasz knew better too. But entertainment was for the crowd, right?
"Hey!" Sol'murss tossed his mug to the ground, shattering it with a slur, "If my brother wants me to dance, I'm going to dance.." With his red cloak already half-falling off, Sol'murss started struggling to heave himself up onto the stage. He couldn't make an easy job of it, not if he was as drunk as he now smelled. The drink was a potent one and Sol was regretting having spilt it on his shirt. Oh well. All the better for Chasz.
Sol'murss clumsily managed to get himself up onto the stage and immediately staggered against Chasz with a wide grin, splashing the rest of his borrowed drink all over his brother. What else was family for?

Chasz went completely still as the beer ran down his face in rivers. He grabbed for Sol's arm and steadied him, pulling him close to his face. "What are you doing you little rat? Are you trying to get me mad? I should throttle you right now here in front of everyone for putting me through this!" He snarled, in a low dangerous tone.
Then he shoved him back, and let the mad look slip off of his face seeing the rather inquisitive looks the crowd of females were shooting in their direction. Perhaps..they wanted a fight? Surely not. However..Chasz felt ready to pummel his brother into the ground for what he had forced him to endure over the past short half hour or so. Only..he really didn't want an audience when he did so.
He decided rather abruptly that a mock fight was in order. He sent a subtle signal to Sol, so he would know that the next bit was all an act, and that they were going to do a mock fight. Then He dashed back to the pile of armor and his swords, and then lunged back towards Sol with both blades brandished at him. "Ready yourself, you whelp! I'll teach you a lesson in propriety!" Chasz growled so the crowd could hear him.

Solmur'ss could not stop his heart from racing as his brother responded to his impromptu actions. His brother's tone at first was almost threatening. So much for a good evening. This was escalating in a new direction. And probably a painful one at that!
Before he could whisper any serious answer back, Chasz had shoved him away again. Sol swayed on his feet like a drunk instead of steadying himself.
Now.. Chasz was trying to communicate something alright. But he couldn't be sure what exactly. A sign of.. For a second the anger had faded from his face. Was it an act? He watched as Chasz returned with his blades drawn. Impulsively, his mind told him to fear that Chasz might really be that angry. But logically, he knew his brother was highly unlikely to attack in public. Solmur'ss waited with an uneasy stomach and tried to respond in kind, optimistically assuming this fight was going to be a fake.
Wavering on his feet again Solmur'ss scrambled for the nearest thing he could. Some highly entertained drow standing near the stage was holding a staff aloft near Sol. The crowd was really getting into this. He yanked it upwards.
Slurring, Sol challenged his brother and waved the staff, "Pro..prey..ty.." He stumbled across the word unnecessarily. "I'll teach you a thing or two! You fake!"

Chasz'zar didn't know if Sol had had enough time to read his sign..so Sol either thought that Chasz was capable of getting this mad at him to attack him. Chasz laughed inwardly, as he waited for Sol to grab something to defend himself with before he attacked. If it had been a true fight in the training arena at their home, Chasz wouldn't have waited at all. It was pretty much an understanding in the House of de'Virr that when one's status was challenged they attacked without warning even if the individual was unarmed. It had been something that Chasz had struggled to accept as a way of life, but once he had gotten out into society, he realized that it was just how things worked.
He threw himself towards Solmur'ss with a cry, his blades weaving in and out in a eye blurring motion as he began his attack. Despite how fast he looked, he had slowed his attack down to give his brother a fighting chance. His being drunk..or playing drunk would make his movements slower than normal and despite Chasz being mad at him for putting him in the situation, he didn't want to harm him...at least not yet. When he did punish or gain retribution against his brother he would do that in private...where the two of them would be the only spectators. He rather felt that this little "joke" of Sol's had gone too far, and even if this fight was only a mock one, he was still going to make it look realistic and beat his brother as black and red as he could.

With the way his brother would normally fight, Sol quickly saw that he was not at all serious. His speed was much too slow for that, but just fast enough to trick the crowd and keep them entertained. If the bounty hunter had enough time to sigh in relief he probably would have. Sol knew his staff would not be too much help straight on with the blades, but he used it help distance himself from Chasz and deflect the blades as best he could.
Solmur'ss knew a drunk wouldn't be too clever nor too agile. He huffed. He had to be a little clever here! At least figure out a more or less daring exit.
With a lazy wobble, Solmur'ss used his staff in the classic drunken windmill maneuver. If only his brother would hit him good just once. Hopefully not with a blade! But an excuse to give a dramatic tumble out over the crowd would work. Until then.. Solmur'ss braced himself.
Goddess, I really should find better things to do with my time.

Chasz'zar could tell that Sol was relieved, and his fighting reflected that. He itched to teach his little brother a real lesson but restrained himself. Oh..he'd get to beat him up a bit in the fight...since Sol was supposed to be in bad shape being supposedly "drunk" and all.
Still..even in his "drunken" stupor..Sol was fighting rather well. Chasz's face pulled into a hateful snarl as he suddenly changed his direction of attack at the last moment, catching Sol off guard with the hilt of his blade smashing into Sol's face. Then he followed through with a kick to the abdomen, causing Sol to fly off the stage and into the crowd below.
"Now get out of here you rotten piece of roth dung!" Chasz shouted after Sol, appearing as pissed off at his brother as he really felt. "Or I'll do more than teach you a lesson!"
The crowd cheered and several of the males onstage congratulated him as he stood triumphantly over the crowd, beads of sweat rolling down his naked chest.

Oof. Solmur'ss grunted as he took a solid blow to the face and to the stomach. The blood ran from both his nose and a cut along his cheek as he found himself tumbled out over the crowd. The staff was lost somewhere in the chaos. The crowd tried to jostle him but the supposedly drunken drow was suddenly tense and alert. He kicked free to find himself against a table. Leaping to the top, Solmur'ss turned back towards the stage.
He stretched out an arm for a bow as refined as he could muster. "The de'Virr House!" If his name still mattered to his brother then that should be one last parting blow. He should have a learned a lesson at some point, right? Perhaps next time.
With that, Solmur'ss promptly started to get his tail out of the establishment. No need for encores tonight! Sol jumped from one table to another. He set his sights on the back staircase. His plan was to try and make it to the roof instead of the door. It had hopefully been quite a while since Chasz had tried to scale the rooftops of Undrek Thoz, and Solmur'ss aimed to take that advantage.

Chasz was rather satisfied by the blood that ran from his brother's nose and the cut on his cheek. He watched Sol lose hie balance and fall into the crowd. He would have allowed his brother to leave only..Sol chose to do something that caused Chasz'zar's blood to boil with anger.
Sol jumped on top of a table and pointed straight at him and yelled, "the de'Virr House!" Chasz immediately leaped from the stage and took chase, with a loud cry of rage erupting from his gut. He was only a step or two behind Sol, chasing him over the tabletops when something snagged his foto and caused him to come crashing down breaking one of the tables in half.
He struggled to his feet, rage and blood roaring through his body. It was already too late..Sol had disappeared and he had no clue where his brother had gone to. Chasz cursed silently, as he began to hatch a plan on teaching his brother a lesson for giving away their house name so balantaly in the public. His Matron would be livid when she learned of his act on stage, not to mention the drunken brawling Sol had had a part in. Chasz brushed himself off, wincing when he hit a few splinters that had edged their way into his bare skin.
He made his way back to the stage, ignoring the laughs and the nudges the crowd was giving him at the whole episode. In a rather subdued manner, still raging inside Chasz gathered his belongings from Guldiin along with a very large pouch of gold that the fellow had put together for him from what the crowd had thrown on stage.
"If you ever want to come back and work the crowd, feel free to come back." Guldiin told him trying not to appear too jovial from all the money he had collected from the fight and the dancing exhibit.
"I doubt I will be. However..should you see my brother Solmur'ss I will compensate you for telling me so." Chasz'zar replied.
"Uh..I don't think I could do that, Sol and I go back quite a long way." Guldiin replied..looking rather unhappy.
"I understand. One has to honor their vows." Chasz replied, and then departed from the bar, steaming from the experience...and plotting a most definite painful and humiliating experience for his brother when he showed back up at the House de'Virr.
