It was true that no one knew about her home village, and she always wanted to know what was beyond her home. The young woman was always filled with curiosity, not to mention the fact of wanting to know how Shin came to be. "Always in the clouds you are," laughed an elderly woman. Shanti's face lit up as she gave the woman one of her famous smiles. A small chuckle left the woman as she stood by her pupil. "I know, I am cirious about the man as well. He seems like a nice man, but yet he also seems as if he is hiding something."
Shanti noded her head, as she went back to watching Shin. The man tried his best to keep the children at bay, slighlty pushing them away from his body all the while, smiling at them. "If I were the same age, I would stay by his side until our time is up." The elderly laughed, as she patted the young woman's head and slolwy headed back inside her own hut. Shanti blushed lightly, as she turned and headed towards the garden. The place was in need of weeding, and she was going to make sure that she would get it done today.

The moon was slowly creeping through the sky, causing the sun to drop down in the Western sky. Shanti sighed lightly, as she was over looking the garden. True, she had some help from the villagers, but she could not stop feeling as if someone was watching her. A small sneeze escaped through her nose, causing her to rub the back of her hand ever so gently over it. A small scar covered her right hand, something that she kept hidden from the other villagers. "Shanti," came the elder's voice. With a smile, the girl turned and faced her adoptive father. "I believe that it is time for you to retire, the moon is full and it is almost in mid sky." Shanti nodded her head, her pink hair was coming out of the tie that was holding it back. "Come now, before you catch a chill."

hum, i got to say that working in the moonlight isn't as easy as you would think raxle. i don't know if you've ever been in the middle of a forest and try to see around or not but its pretty much impossible to see. admittedly people used to have better night vision than we do nowadays but i just wanted to point that out.

Another day had seemed to pass, and Shin seemed to be torn by the two. Oh, it wasn't as if he could not stand the village, he just did not want to see anyone get hurt. A small sigh seemed to escape him, as he contonued to watch Shanti. It was if the young woman herself was a becon of light that seemed to shine through darkness. He could not help but to smile, as he watched her play with the children.

It was something that he had saw before, but with the young woman, it was as if he was seeing it happing for the first time. Shin sighed a little, as he slowly turned and headed towards the small stream that feed into the lake. Maybe some time thinking to himself would help clear things a bit.
The two men that were following Shin were now standing within viewing range of the village. Their lord wanted the power, and Shin was the only one whom held it within his own grasp. Gargin smiled lightly, as Kiliar readied his bow. "Shall we just take them all out?" Gargin asked with a small laugh, Kiliar smirked at the man next to him.
"Our lord wanted the man and the man alone," Kiliar stated, as he slowly took out an arrow. "He never said anything about the villagers." Gargin smiled a sinister smile, as the two continued towards their destination. Soon, very soon, their lord will control the world and no god or any children of theirs could stop him from doing so.
