The pink mare smiled brightly to both of them. She was happy to have met this odd yet kind pair of ladies. She felt more at ease now then she had earlier and her stuttering had stopped. It was just as Adsali had said. If others were patient, they would get to know that there was a thoughtful, kind, and sensible mare under that bundle of nerves. "Zuilian is my herdmate and I love him, but it's different too. I think it's more like what Corine feels for her brother."

Both Corine and Duskai could understand that, Corine more so than Dusk, of course. The purple mare smiled. "You are very kind, Candy. I'm sure you will find a nice stallion some day, as will Corine. You just have to be open to it." Corine snorted a little, as if to say, 'yeah, uh huh, suuure, like I'll find love'. Duskai rolled her eyes. Sometimes...

Candy blushed lightly and shuffled her left forehoof. Glad for the snort for Corine, and thus a distraction, the pink mare nodded. She added softly, "I think you'll find someone too Corine. We just need patience."

Corine just smiled and nodded her head. "Well, I shall see what happens." The white mare bent down to drink water again.
Duskai just shook her head and moved on. "So, Candy, what do you like to do?" she asked, ignoring her herd mate. Dusk was sure Corine would understand what they were talking about at some point, it was just take time.
Of course, knowing Corine, she'd take so long to decide whether to mate with a stallion, the poor boy would get fed up and leave her anyway. Dusk inwardly chuckled. It would interesting to see who would get past Corine's impartialness.

What about you two?" She was finding it easier to talk to the pair as time with on. This caused her to relax further and even smile a little.

Corine spoke first. "Thinking, mostly. I like to sit on hills and think." Duskai nodded in agreement. "As do I. I also like the company of our two legged, and of Corine. Even in silence, it is nice to have companion ship." The purple mare smiled softly.

Candy nodded, her mane swishing as her head bobbed, "Oh I completely agree. There's nothing better than companions." The mare smiled as she pranced in place for a moment. before settling down. "What would you both like to do now?"

Corine and Duskai thought for a moment. "Why don't we go for a walk?" asked Corine. The purple mare nodded her head in agreement.

The bubblegum pink mare shook her head before answering. "No, there's nothing else. A walk sounds wonderful. Which way would you two like to go?"

Corine looked between the directions, trying to decide. A few minutes passed and she continued to mumble to herself and look around. Duskai rolled her eyes and started off toward the west, following the river. Corine blinked and smiled sheepishly, blush spreading over her cheeks.
"I guess that way then," she said, starting after the purple mare.

Candy Heart let out a soft giggle and followed after the pair. She smiled happily as they followed the river to the west. She had always liked traveling near rivers, it was such a soothing sound.
