The rough green snake was unsuspecting of what would happen next. And before it knew it, its head was inside of the dragonfly's jaws with her teeth sinking into its neck. The snake's body jerked in pain, but it was a relatively small wound, and it tried to somehow squirm away and out of the female's mouth.
((Same attack dice as before. Though if you roll the 20, it's an auto sever - thought that's only if you're attacking it in a way that might decapitate it))

Jatai's eyes filled with tears as she bit down again, trying to end this quickly.

The reptile writhed in pain, coiling the rest of its body around Jatai's arm as it was bit again. It attempted to constrict her arm, as if it might cause her to release its head. If the head wasn't inside of her mouth, it probably would try to bite back in some sort of attempt to save itself.

Jatai brought her jaw down on the snake quickly once again, tears staining rivers down her face.

When Jatai opened her mouth to bite down again, the snake was able to back out of her jaw. The snake was bloodied pretty good.

1-12 = snake tries to flee
13-17 = snake strikes but misses
18-20 = snake bites and suceeds
For Jatai

1-10 = miss
11-15 = weak attack
16-19 = strong
20 = decapitate (only applicable to the action)

The tiny snake lunged at Jatai, but missed. She guessed he was barely conscious from lack of blood and she fought to keep from breaking down. She took another snap at him, hoping to finally end it.

The snake took another small injury, but between that and its previous wounds, it was all starting to really add up. It was weakened a good amount from it wounds and most likely would not last much longer.

Jatai knew that the snake was dying. It tried to wriggle away but she tried to bite it again. In a best case scenario, she would finish this task with blood on her paws. In a worst case scenario, she would end its suffering.

The snake tried to flee for its life, but it was a futile attempt. with one final bite from Jatai, the rough green snake soon went still. It suffered no longer.

Jatai gave a tug with her teeth, trying to carefully remove the head of the tiny creature. At least it felt no more pain, she told herself.

With relative ease, Jatai sucessfully removed the head of the snake. Now all that was left was for her to return to Boethiah to recieve her reward.

Nearly sick to her stomach, Jatai carefully buried the body of the Rough Green Snake and closed her violet eyes in prayer for a moment. She begged the forgiveness of the serpent's mighty spirit and told it that she would be giving it new form.
After making her peace, she grabbed the small green head in her teeth and ran back to the dragonfly who had given her the gruesome task in the first place. Her paws pounded on the stones of his cavern and the sound rang in her ears. She dropped the head at his feet and said icily, "There. Now give me what I came for, Boethiah."
