Hrm...we have a few...
The biggest and most famed tradition is,by far,Band Nakie Time.Happens every time we have to change, the biggest three being when we go to the Big-E,Six-Flags,and at our Madrigal Feaste. When the time comes that we all have to go back to the bus at the two parades,a large group of us always forms at the crosswalk. As soon as we can cross,we all start screaming "NAKIE TIME!!!" and book to the bus. There isn't a girls bus and a guys bus,you just change on whatever bus you came on.Earlier this year at the big E,one of our seniors who usually get's Nakie Time going,Zach, somehow lost his pants when we were changing back into normal clothes. So,naturally,he yelled out,"Okay, who took my pants!?"I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the faces of the poor old ladies who happened to walk by the bus at that very moment...>w<
Feaste is just as bad. After Feaste, everybody goes back to the music room, strips, and sometimes we see people running around the halls in their boxers.Fun times. 3nodding
The first Nakie Time of the year is always the best, cause the freshman have no idea what the hell we're talking about. They're all horrified once they learn first hand what we're talking about.^^
Another one is that we always end up dancing to our marching music. And two of our tenors have a full blown thumb war during An Irish Party in the Third Class, since we only need 2 fingers to play it.But then again, everybody goes nuts during Irish..><
That reminds me of Thomas Land.
It's this corner in the band room where everyone changes.
We made a sign and pasted a picture of Thomas on it.
Our band teacher found it and wasn't very happy... XD
Then there was the famous pop tart box incident.
During 1st period, someone pooped in a pop tart box and left it in the band hallway.
When 2nd period Wind Ensemble was walking in, we noticed that it smelled kinda bad.
We look for the source to see a smelly overflowing box...
At the time, we found it as a form of disrespect.
Now, we laugh at it.
And we still don't know who it was...
Because it's for the kid's safety XD
