It's just too funny when I would see either a flute or non band person laying down in the brass areas. You just go up to them and with a serious face, "Dude, I would not lay there if I were you." And then you just walk away and hear them get all confused XD. Honestly, if you're laying where I sit it's not a good thing because, hi, I play tuba biggrin ...yeah, on our stage where there is no carpet to absorb it all...lets just say I like to call it Lake Tubemore.

I empty it out regularly, and it's always a puddle, even after one song or so, also I'm a baritone/trombone, except my trombone's is slightly off and it leaks

I do like the spit valves for grossing people out but, I HATE the smell of them. Why does my spit smell so bad? My mouth piece smells weird too, after I play for a bit. ick.

I play horn, and as you know there are a lot of slides where spit can get lost. I think spit valvues are really convenient if your in a rush to empty. theyr'e also fun to grose people out with lol

I have to remove my valves to empty it, for some weird reason. Anyways, I usually have a lot in there, so there's usually a stain on the floor, and the low woodwinds start saying "ewwww," and what not. Very funny. 3nodding
