Ithnan laughed, an odd noise coming from a dragon who was normally so reserved, before smiling a bit at the other male. "H-h-has anyo-anyone ever t-t-told you that you a-a-ask a l-lot of qu-qu-questions?" he asked rhetorically, sniffing at the warm meat, and looking up at Tas curiously for a moment, thinking a bit.
"W-w-we should pr-probably t-take it b-back first, b-but we c-c-could find a s-spot to f-f-fish a-a-a-afterw-ward. And y-y-yes, I d-d-do like f-fishing, but I'm n-not very g-g-good at i-it," Ithnan noted, waving his tail around a bit before sticking the tip of his snout under the deer, ready to stick the rest of his head underneath it and lift it up and onto both his and Tas' backs. "R-r-r-ready?"

Tas nodded carefully under the weight of the deer not wanting to tip it on the ground, "Others are always saying that, but I like knowing things and the best way is to ask questions. It's how I learned to hunt and even fish. This one dragon explained the best ways to catch fish and a different one taught me to track deer so now I know how to do both. It's amazing what others know and if you ask the right questions you can know it too. "
Looking forward before taking a quick glance back at Ith, "I'm ready, are we going far?"

Ithnan chuckled a bit, smiling at the explanation, before pushing the rest of his head underneath the deer and pulling the carcass onto his back, wincing a bit. He growled softly, shifting his shoulder blades to fit the deer on his back better. He smiled a bit over at Tasslehoff and shook his head. "It's n-n-not th-that f-f-far. J-just up the h-h-h-hill," he said, gesturing up the hill with a soft smile before slowly taking the first step and the next and so on, making sure to keep his movements synced with those of the other male.

Tas consentrated on the task at hand, instead of asking all the questions that were rolling around in his head. He carefully stepped with Ithnan and made their way up the hill. He didn't want the deer to fall, which it would be sure to do if Tas got distracted by his questions.
He could see a cave not to far off and so cautiously asked, " Is that were we are heading?"

It was a bit of a struggle, but Ithnan made sure that he kept stepped consistently. At the comment from the other dragon, he glanced over, then up to the cave and nodded a few times. "Y-y-yeah, th-that's it," he commented. Just up the hill and then drop the meat off in the cave, that was all that he would have to do. He gave a weak smile to his new friend. "And w-w-whatever y-y-you d-do, don't m-m-me-men-mention th-that I-I'm N-N-Naios-salas' f-f-father," he added, looking seriously at Tasslehoff before shrugging the meat off his shoulders at the edge of the cave.

Tas looked towards Ithnan and nodded, " Okay but why not? Does he not know?"
It seemed like an unusual request to make especially if they happened to look like each other. It would only make sense they were related but it wasn't his place to point that out.

Ithnan laughed a bit, shaking off his mane, getting rid of stray hairs and blood that may have come from the deer, before giving a bit of a smile back toward Tasslehoff. "W-we-well, he's no su- not supposed t-t-to kn-know... b-but it's k-k-kinda h-ha-hard to m- hard to m-m-miss," the male said, shaking his head wearily, though the smile that remained obviously proved that he was amused by this fact.
When he looked up again, however, the amused thought of 'speak of the devil' passed through his mind only a moment before his son appeared from the depths of the cave.
It was a surprise to see a young dragon with energy like Nai's, but without a single sound coming from his mouth. The femininity that he exhibited, as well, had been concerning Ithnan for quite some time. That didn't seem to affect the child though, as he pounced and played with his father's servant's tail, his own waving back and forth excitedly, a bright grin on his face, until the other male caught his eye.
Slowly, the blue eyes of his father shifted to look at the brown, striped dragon, and he tipped his head to the side, glancing inquisitively toward Ithnan, silently asking who this other male was.

Tass took one glance at the young dragon and could instantly tell who's he was but he promised not to say anything so he wouldn't. "Hi I'm Tasslehoff! Do you like deer? Because we have deer! "

Naiosalas paused, then stared at the speaking of the other male, glancing up with his babysitter's tail in his mouth, his own tail wagging close to the ground. He blinked a few times, head tipping to the side like that of a curious puppy, before he looked back toward the larger pink dragon, dropping the tail and gesturing toward Tasslehoff.
"He's a fr- h-he's a fr-friend. M-m-met him wh-whi-while I was- while I was h-h-hunting. H-he he-helped take d-d-own the d-deer. Afte-after all, y-y-you know we-well of your- of your f-f-father's appe-appe-appet-tite," Ithnan replied to the silent question with a soft chuckle, looking back toward Tass with a soft smile. Yeah; despite the questions, Tasslehoff was definitely enough to be considered a friend.
At the comment about Tass being a friend, Nai didn't even hesitate in dropping his upper body to the ground, wiggling his bum in the air, and pouncing at the other energetic dragons tail excitedly, biting as well as such a young dragon could at the other male's mane.

Tas grinned happily at Ithnan before moving his tail from Naiosalas and wiggling it playfully. He loved kids, they didn't mind playing with him and some even asked as many questions as him. He knew he wanted kids someday, it would be amazing to be able to explain all the answers to the questions he had learned through his life to children of his own.
Glancing from child to father, Tas knew that even if Ithnan didn't say anything, it must hurt to have his own child call someone else father. He respected Ith more for it since he knew he couldn't do it. It would break his heart.

 Aprio ventured out of the cave, shielding her eyes with her tail. Syoto, Aqua, Salano, and Siddhartha had gone on a 'family outing'... For some reason they had decided against taking Naiosalas... But Aprio didn't mind being left behind to babysit. She liked Naiosalas. He was probably her favorite young one besides her mistress, Salano. Why? Well, it probably had something to do with the fact that - for some odd reason she couldn't quite pinpoint - he reminded her of Ithnan...
Oh, Aprio's breath caught in her throat as she realized who was outside the cave. Ithnan.
And he had brought a friend?
"Hello," she said quietly with a nod of her head in greeting.

Naiosalas seemed to be enjoying himself as he grabbed onto Tasslehoff's tail, kicking at the tip of it with his back legs. He seemed just as excitable and happy as any young dragon, butting gently at the tail with the little rainbow horn on his snout. There was, however, one little difference with this little one than most; he didn't make any noise beyond breathing and huffing on occasion. He didn't growl, didn't yelp, didn't squeak. It was rather abnormal how quiet the baby was, but it had never really occurred to Ithnan that this was a problem. After all, he understood his won regardless of the other not speaking all that often.
Ithnan chuckled at his son's behavior, smiling up at Tasslehoff. "H-he-he- I th-think he l-l-li-ikes y-you," the pink dragon said, blue eyes lingering on Tass a moment longer than was proper in his mind, before Aprio's voice made him jump slightly, eyes widening as they shifted to the pale pink dragoness at the entrance to the cave. He chuckled softly, shaking his head when he realized who it was standing there, smiling and bowing his head humbly.
"A ple-pleasure, mila-mila-milady," he said quietly, before looking between Tasslehoff and the other servant, a soft smile coming to his face. "T-T-T-a**-slehoff, th-this is A-Aprio. A-Aprio, th-th-this is T-T-Tas-Tassleh-h-hoff," he said with a firm nod of his head, not really noticing as his son stopped biting at Tasslehoff's tail, and instead had his paws crossed over it, watching the female curiously, tail wagging.

Tas was having fun playing with Naiosalas so he hadn't noticed Aprio until she spoke. Turning towards the newcomer, he grined as Ithnan introduced him. "It's nice to meet you. Do you live here too? We have deer so I hope you like it. " Distracted by pressure on his tail Tas looked down at Naio and smiled at the youngster who was laying on his tail.

Aprio bowed her head in response to Ithnan, hoping that she wasn't blushing. It was hard for people to tell if she was or if she wasn't, because of her coat color, but she could feel the heat in her cheeks all the same. That stammer of his was so... Adorable.
"It's nice to meet you, Tasslehoff," she gave a small smile as she nodded in his direction, speaking softly. "Yes, I live here. My lord is gracious enough to allow me to... Ah, yes, I do like deer, I suppose... Ordinarily I would insist that the Royals be allowed to eat first, but they've gone off on an outing - all except for Naiosalas. I think that Queen Aquamarine was going to catch them some dinner..."

"Ah, y-yes. The Qu-Qu-Queen will s-surely he-help them h-hunt," he murmured, tail twisting slightly. He knew now why he'd never been fond of Aquamarine, and why he only ever referred to her as the Queen when he was speaking aloud. However, it was foolish of him to be under the impression that there could have ever been anything between the King of Dragons and someone as lowly as himself. He shook his head gently, looking up to give a weak smile toward Aprio.
"I'm gl-glad th-th-that you st-stayed to wa- to watch Na-Naios-s-salas while th-the others we-were g-gone," he murmured softly, though it took him a moment to remember that he wasn't supposed to note the fact that Naiosalas was his son. Damn that stupid... situation. Why couldn't he have kept his baby boy? He'd been lucky enough to take care of him rather than leaving him with Stormwind, but what was the point if he would have lost the boy either way? Of course, he was probably drawing attention to himself with his soft growling and glaring at the ground.
He wasn't really that observant, it seemed.
Naiosalas watch Ithnan for only a few seconds before his attention was diverted by the servant that his father had left with him. Growling softly, happily in some way, he ran toward her, tackling her playfully in the side, near where his sister had given her the starred marking, wiggling his tail high in the air, doing the best he could to lighten the atmosphere that the Servant to the King seemed to have brought down significantly.
