Cyrena grabbed some berries as well as an apple, smiling as she did so. She didn't know it, but she wondered about the same thing Zane had- was there anything else in the basket. She didn't voice this aloud though, since that probably would be rude. Not to mention that berries and apples were plenty for her, if a bit more fruit than she was used to. "Thanks for the food, Tenzai," she said with a bright smile.

Tenzai grinned before digging in a little deeper into the basket. "Oh yeah, there are some sandwiches here," he said, pulling out a few turkey sandwiches. As he reached in again, he found what he was looking for. "And condiments for anyone who wants them." He placed a bottles of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise on the ground next to the basket. Grabbing an apple, he munched on it happily.

"Ah.." Zane grinned as he watched Tenzai take the sandwiches out of the basket. He took one and held it up to examine it. "Turkey, my favorite." This was with no doubt, the best part of the day so far. Not just the food, but being able to eat it out somewhere nice with his friends. "Thanks Tenzai," he said before he took a bite of his sandwich.

Cyrena smiled at the mention of sandwiches, "Oh, cool. I like turkey," she replied, putting a bit of mustard on it. "Thank you very much," she repeated, thinking that sandwiches, which took a little time to prepare, probably deserve an extra thank you. Wagging the tip of her tail a bit slowly, she ate her food and gazed out at the lake.

"So..." Tenzai said as he finished chewing thoughtfully. "What do you think we should do after finishing this up?" His gaze wandered over to Cyrena, and he smiled to himself. She looked beautiful in the sunlight as it reached through the forest canopy. "I found this boat the other day, but I'm not sure if it's usable."

Zane finished gobbling up two turkey sandwiches and then turned his attention towards the conversation. He had looked up from his sandwich in time to see Tenzai's longing gaze at Cyrenna. This made him feel a bit awkward. At the mention of a boat he said, "Eh...you two go ahead." He didn't like water, and the thought of being on a boat made him uneasy. He rather sit on the shore. Besides, this would give Tenzai and Cyrenna some time to be alone, and Zane didn't mind being by himself. Maybe he'd take a nap in the warm sun or something.

Cyrena smiled with excitement, "A boat? Wow!" She wasn't worried about it being unstable or tipping over, on the contrary, it would be an unexpected surprise. "That sounds like a great idea." She did ponder what Zane would do, though given his nature she didn't think he'd mind being alone.

Tenzai grinned, then ran off into the bushes. A few moments later, he returned with a slightly battered rowing boat. "Here she it," Tenzai proclaimed proudly, satisfied with his find. He quickly inspected the bottom for any cracks, and, finding none, gestured to Cyrena. "Ladies first." He was really looking forward to spending some time alone with Cyrena, though a small part of him felt unsure about leaving Zane alone.
