" Well maybe he needed fresh air , plus parks have so much bugs in them" she brought him close to her eyes then she walked over to monkey bars. " I think this is the smartest spider on Gaia" she said all knowledgeable or like she knew what she was talking about. She found a leaf and put him on it then sat next to it.
Gabriel watched Marcy from a distance. " I wonder what shes doing" he thought.

"Maybe that's it," Josh agreed. "He probably lives somewhere nearby." He nodded as wisely as he could. "Do you live around here, Marcy? In Barton?" He asked, and then gestured in the direction of his house.
Vincent caught on, and smiled at Marcy. "Maybe you'd like to come over sometime?" He asked. "Mom makes the best chocolate cake on Gaia!" Well, maybe not on all of Gaia. But she did make a pretty good cake.

Marcy looked at the boys and watched the spider crawl to a rock. " Nope I live .... in Aekeeea" She tried to say it right but it was to hard. "On a big farm , with huge plants , and big fields , and forist , but you can't go in there since the wild animals arn't safe" she looked at Vinny " and if you hear the lady in wind don't listen to her cry".... Thats what my Daddy says and My Nanny ... I don't know who she is but don't listen to her"... Wow she just started going on and on that wasn't like herself. She even shocked herself.

Josh smiled. He knew exactly what Marcy was talking about. "I know where Aekea is," He said happily "My best friend's mom works at a diner there. It's really good."
Vinny smiled, trying to understand. "I've never heard of the lady in the wind," He said. Maybe she was some kind of ghost. Or maybe a goblin. Or maybe a lost princess that needed saving. He didn't know. "I've only been a forest once." He admited. "To play hide-n-seek."

Marcy looked for the spider but he snuck off. " I don't know too Vinny" she said his name really cute , she focused on the Y part. " But My Nanny says the forest were we live is much to dangerous for us to go in " she got more comfortable in the grass. " my brother Ryan once kicked his soccer ball into the woods , and when my big brothers saw him they ran after him and got him out " she snapped her fingers " but they never found the ball and he got grounded for two days , My Nanny says that there are wild centaur in the woods , and there not like the nice ones we meet".

Josh frowned, was it just him, or was Marcy ignoring him again? How annoying.
Vinny tilted his head slightly. "Centaur?" He asked, looking confused. He'd never heard of one of those. Of course, being raised by two fiction writers you'd think he'd know all of the mythological creatures. But no, that was Joshua's interest.
Josh rolled his eyes at his younger brother. "They're the half horse people who tell the future based on the stars. They look like horses from the waist down." He supplied. "Mom was telling me about them yesterday."

" Your so smart Josh" she looked at him with a smile " I know a few from my Hula Class" She thought about how funny a Centaur would look trying to hula " They don't dance but they like to watch" she noted. " But wild ones arnt nice and can hurt people" she seemed to be mimicking her Dad.

Joshua smiled at the compliment. "I've never met one though," He said, frowning. "I didn't know they were real." He'd always hoped they were, just like he had hoped that dragons and fairies (which were undeniably real, since he'd met two of them.)
Vinny tilted his head slightly. "You dance?" He asked. Besides his mother, he had never met a person that liked to. His father hated it.

" I think you should come to my Hula classes then" she batted her eyes.
She stood up and got her feet in a stance. It was hard to dance without music so she started to sing in her head. "A`oia a e lilo ana `oe ia`u, ahahana Onaona kô maka i `ane`i e ka ipo Wahine u`i". She started to hula. She moved her hips and moved her hands to the sky, then slowly moved them down low and used her eyes to tell her story of a love she wanted to win. She felt funny and really good at the same time.

The moment Marcy started dancing, Joshua had started to feel awkward. He silently headed back to his mother and Gabriel.
Vinny watched, interested. He knew that hula dancers told stories with their dance, his father had told him that when they had spotted some dancing near Bucaneer Boardwalk. He just couldn't figure out what the story Marcy was telling was about. He'd never seen a hula up close before.

Marcy stopped dancing after Josh walked away since it made her feel funny. "Well now you know I can dance" she said as she gave a slight nudge. "Where did your brother go?".
Gabriel looked at Josh "Whats up" he asked.

Vinny pointed over at the adults. "I don't think he likes dancing much," He said. "He's more interested in fantasies and stuff. Like dragons and princes and monsters." He shrugged, then added, "I like dancing though. You're really good at it."
Josh looked up at Gabriel and smiled. "Nothing much," He said. "Still talking about flowers?"

"Awww thanks Vinny" Marcy said smiling. She saw the spider crawling on the monkey bars so she got up and ran she used a leaf near by and let it crawl onto it. " I found my friend " she motioned for Vinny to come over and look.
"Nope not talking about flowers , we where just sharing are favorite plants, by the way where is your Mom?" he asked.

Vinny went over to see the spider. "He really likes you." He said cheerfully. "He's a good friend." The boy had never really considered a spider as a friend until now.
Josh nodded, he could understand that. "She's over there." He said, pointing. Thali was looking at a group of baby ducks by the pond in the park.

Marcy glanced at the spider then said " he seems to like hide and seek " she giggled.
"Do you want to go over and visit your Mom, I have four ducks at home right as speak they have been my friends for a long time" he said in a proud Father kind of voice then pointed to his ducky hat.
