Seaki "The best I could be," Nafsi said in a whipser, though she was sure the dog had heard her. Something had gone on with this pups mother then... Nafsi was certain of it.
Polette "I hope so." her eyes wandering off somewhere on the ground, Uzuri tilted her head to the side. "I live in a place like this now. With someone who understands." a small smile crept onto her face as she thought of it.

Seaki Nafsi's eyes sparkled happily. "You should go back there then," Nafsi saw the smile grace the pup's face and she smiled herself.
Polette Uzuri slowly began to understand this lioness' strange way of showing kindness; she was sweet, and Uzuri liked that. "I guess I should. I've been gone for some time now." she walked over to the water and lapped up the cool liquid. "I guess I just can't get used to this idea of 'family.'" she stuck her tongue out slightly and laughed.

Seaki Nafsi's eyes turned slightly sad, but brightened only moments later. "Everything gets better in time, pup. Even if one does not realize it," She said, almost understandingly.
Polette "I hope so." Uzuri looked to the sky, remembering the way she had come. "I think......I need to go see her now. She's probably really worried." trotting towards the edge of the water, Uzuri turned her head and glanced back at the lioness. "I won't say I'm sorry for what I did earlier; you can take it however you please, although I'll consider it an act of kindness on my part." she smiled, thinking back to the scene. "But I will thank you for feeding me."
Seaki Nafsi only gave the pup a nod. "Just make it in the world, young master, and that is thanks enough," Nafsi whispered to herself.
