Lysander heard something behind him and turned around to find Simia in the entrance of the cave and gave her a small smile, "Good Morning Simia. Is your paw feeling any better?" He asked concerned.
It still angered him that some idiot had hurt her. Father had always taught him to never strike a lady in anger, and only fight with one if your life was on the line and for Lysander to come across such a disrespect of that was maddening.
"I'm pretty sure there is a river around here, and if it's okay with you and can try to catch some fish for our breakfast."

Simia blinked, her mouth forming a small 'O'. She wasn't ready! She didn't know how she was supposed to act! What would she do?
Finally, for lack of anything else, she decided to act like herself. She hadn't done that in a while; it would be a refreshing change of pace.
"S'okay," she shrugged. She frowned as he mentioned fish. "I guess that'll be okay. It's not my favorite, but I'll eat it." She gave a wry smile. "Which way?"

Lysander nodded and motioned to the right, "I think it's this way. I'm not too big on fish either and hopefully we will be able to find something else for dinner."
Lysander couldn't quite figure out what was different with Simia today but where as yesterday she made him slightly nervous, today he felt calmer and started to relax around her.
"So shall we go and see if I can make a fool of myself in the attempt for breakfast?"

"Hopefully," Simia nodded, beginning to walk in the direction he'd indicated. She chuckled slightly at his last few words, "We shall. And I'm sure I'll enjoy seeing you make a fool of yourself. However, I might just try to find some rabbits or squirrels or something nearby, because I hate touching raw fish when they're in the water. They're scaly and icky and yuck." She made a face, then half-turned to wait for Lysander. "Comin'?"

Lysander chuckled and started walking, catching up with Simia so that he was walking by her. "Well my lady, I hope I can help you stay away from the scaly and icky fish as much as possible. Perhaps if we are lucky we can find something larger like a deer."
Lysander was liking the change his companion, she felt more real then before and it was causing him to open up some.

"Oh! DEER! YUM." Simia nodded emphatically as they walked, bouncing a bit on her paws. She wasn't usually this hyper in the morning; at least not so much so that it spilled over into her actions. Was she this excited about just acting like herself for once? Or did Lysander have some kind of hyper-ifying effect on her?
Oh well. It didn't really matter at the moment. She should just enjoy the hyperness while it lasted, before she got crabby and blah, like she usually was in the mornings.
Simia heard the running water before she saw it, but when she did see it she - on an impulse - galloped forward and splashed into the water heavily. Seconds later, she surfaced, gasping for breath, and scrambled to shore, breathing heavily.
"C-c-cold!" she exclaimed, a bit shocked.

Lysander watched in amusement as Simia dashed into the water, but quickly turned worried as she came out talking about being cold. "Maybe you should dry off, so you don't end up getting sick."
Looking down to Simia's wounded paw that had lost it's wrappings, "Is your wound better or should we treat and wrap it up again?"

"Yeah, but my drying-off spell thingy is kind of weak," Simia frowned doubtfully, shivering a little, "I'll just shake off quick." Taking a few steps back so that she wouldn't get her new companion soaked, she engaged in a rousing shake, from head to tail, the majority of the water flying onto the ground.
At Lysander's suggestion, Simia looked down at her paw. She hadn't noticed until he mentioned it, but it did still feel a bit sore, and the blood had crusted over... Ick. Once again: SO not attractive. "Eeeehhh," Simia shrugged doubtfully, then nodded up and down, "Yeah, that'd probably be best, but I'm gonna wash it off first, ya?"

"Okay, that's good. I'll look around for some more leaves to wrap it." Lysander said before he started searching.
It took him a few minutes but he was finally able to find some more of his healing leaves. Hopefully this would be enough for a while, " I got them Simia, I'll wrap it up when your ready, and then we can find and catch breakfast."

"Okie Doke," Simia agreed pleasently, going back to the river and submerging her paw with a small shiver. She rubbed at it with the other paw, scrubbing away the dried blood and filth that had accumulated on the scratch overnight. She made a face as she did so, wincing occasionally when she hit rubbed at a tender area.
"Okay," she called to Lysander when she was satisfied that her wound was clean, "I think I'm ready for the magical leave doohickeys."

Lysander smiled at Simia and started carefully working with her paw, spreading some of the leaves healing juices into the wound before using the other leaves to wrap it up the best that he could. He gave it a slight pat before putting her paw down.
"That should work for now, it's healing nicely so hopefully the leaves will do their thing and after this it can heal naturally."
Tilting his head to the side, "So do you want to scout for rabbits or squirrels as I fish or are you going to watch me splash about?"

"Hmmm...." Simia pretended to consider this for a moment, "Well, I certainly can't miss watching you 'make a fool of yourself'? That was how you worded it yesterday, right? So... I think I'll watch that for a while, and then when I get bored I'll go terrorize the furry little woodland creatures, kay?"
She grinned happily. It was fun acting like herself.

Lysander grinned back at Simia and chuckled before heading towards the water. He knew he looked silly when he fished, or at least thought he did, because there was a lot of pouncing and splashing. He was actually a pretty good fisher when he wanted to be, but he prefered red meat and only fished as a last resort.
Watching the water carefully, Lysander had his butt in the air, much like what a cat would do, when he spotted his prey. With very fast reflexes, the water around him went splashing around him but once it cleared a medium sized fished wiggled in his mouth.
Tossing it to the shore, Lysander went back for more, sending the watching Simia a small smile as he did so, wondering what she was thinking about him.

What Simia wa thinking about him was this: "He's kind of got a cute butt."
This thought brought a small smile to her face and a chuckle to her mouth, as did the sight of his fishing. It was comical... But effective, Simia noted as a fish was heaved onto shore. She made a face at the wriggly wad of scales, still half unable to believe that there was actually edible meat under all that ickiness.
"Nice job," she told Lysander admiringly, "I'm gonna go look for small furry mammals, now."
Creeping through the shrubs, Simia kept a careful eye out for any movement. She thought she saw something, in a small hollow in the earth. She couldn't be positive, though. She drew closer and breathed deeply through her nose. She could smell the musk of a ground-creature. Wasn't a rabbit or a squirrel... maybe a gopher? Simia crept even closer to the burrow, ready to pounce.

Lysander nodded and watched Simia go, before going back to his fishing. He managed to catch a few more fish before deciding he had enough and getting out of the water. He was shivering, from the cold and he quickly tried using a warming spell. Lysander wasn't strong enough to get himself completely dry but at least he wasn't soaking wet any more.
Looking at his catch, he wondered how Simia was doing but decided to wait were he was for her. He didn't want to accidently scare off any prey that she had found, or even worse get lost and not beable to find Simia again.
