Well, we band kids are a breed all our own. It's been my experience that either they're really shy, or they're way out there. But hey, that's just me. It's also been my experience that the low brass and low woodwinds are very fun to be around. xD

I think it depends on the person.
When I was flirting with my girlfriend, (before we were together) I would hit her on the top of her marching hat. During school, I would walk right next to her and pull her to my in a sort of one armed hug. Yes, you heard me correctly, and no, I don't care about this so called "personal space".
So far, we've been together almost 5 months 3nodding

There is no such thing as personal space in band or Drama
And I got to pit today and everybody attacked me cuz I had food...
Any way, he kept trying to throw his tuba spit all over me and he kept trying to play my bass...then he grabbed my wrist...
I dunno

Band flirting is kind of different than regular flirting. A bit less um, showy I guess. I've been flirting with a trumpet player for weeks, and people outside of band don't notice.

well if they are flirting with other band members then it's kind of ok but with other non-band pplz it's kind of awkward

It's also been my experience that the low brass and low woodwinds are very fun to be around. xD Oh yesh. We're usually the sexiest ones and no one even notices! Everyone's like "Look at that mildly attractive trumpet player!" and like Jesus could play bass clarinet and everyone would be like "That ugly kid plays saxophone. Let's flirt with him."

I think it's mostly how familiar everyone is with each other. Band people flirt differently with band people, drama kids flirt differently with others, etc...
But I do notice that band kids are either super shy or super aggressive flirters, while drama kids are ...well, loud, dramatic and flourish-y. But that just could be my school, so idk...

Oh yeah! Us band Nerds are veryy flirtatious. Ya wana know why, because we are like a little society. So we know eachother better than the kids in Algebra or Geography. Because it takes communication smile Me and the guy who sits next to me flirt a lot! A LOT!!!! Its Usually the Sax and Brass players who flirt the most ive noticed.
