Dashiell couldnt help but yelp slightly, his little hooves moving nervously beneath him as the hot liquid splashed against the ground, giving the kettle newt a cheery smile anyways, he was a very friendly creature even if he was a bit..eh..over eager? Yeah! Over eager, excited.."I take it you dont get many visitors out here" dashiell asked sweetly, hissing and shaking the overflowing drops of liquid off of his hand..hot hot hot! But..'sucking on his fingers slightly to cool the sting, tasty!
"Its good tea though!" he chuckled, sidestepping the little puddle of tea, hearing more voices again, so there were more of them down there..curious..sipping at the dark sloshy liquid slowly, blowing at it to get rid of the steam, it was really really good.

Ellery was not lost... per se. Or at least she refused to admit that she was lost. The petite phryi wove her way daintily through the trees looking for someone... preferably friendly ...to kindly point her towards the edge of the forest so Ellery could figure out where she was.
She was not lost, simply... turned around.
Honestly.
"I don't know why I bother denying my situation to myself," the phryi muttered softly, rustling her wings; more to hear a voice in the relative silence of the wood than to actually talk herself out of her self-denial. Sure, birds were chirping and insects were humming and she could hear a brook dancing along a rocky bed somewhere nearby; probably down that faint path... wait, path?
Almost tripping over the exposed roots in her haste, Ellery untangled herself and made for the path at a quick trot. The brook she had heard babbling was within sight as soon as she broke through the treeline. More a small patch of sunlight than an actual clearing, Ellery was surprised to see the break in the trees was caused by the presence of a large stone wall. Her curiosity peaked, Ellery crossed the brook and started following the wall.
The opening she had been subconsciously seeking was not far from where she had first encountered the wall, the greenery covering the ancient stone just made it difficult to see. Looking curiously through the opening, Ellery found herself unable to move. There were two phryi and a phyrefly standing together in the most stunning garden she had ever seen. Behind them she thought she saw a kettle newt hovering over something and to her left she heard a firm voice echo through the entrance of what must be a cave or rock shelter of some sort. Ellery moved forward hesitantly, stopping under a sweet-scented vine, trying to make sense of the situation she had stumbled upon.

Cies couldn’t help stare at the sapphire phyri in wonder… having been sheltered from others for so long, save her brother, she felt her young heart shudder as he politely brushed her off. She pulled her mask lower in a vain attempt to hide her burning cheeks.
The gentle klutz tried to dry the crimson phyri’s hands with his own, far from succeeding. His little tongue lapped at the droplets that threatened to fall from each fingertip, and quickly cleaned his fur of the mess. The grown phyri before him was not as lucky, beads of liquid streaked down his two front hooves. Quaes offered another cup, more careful this time, preparing to pour slowly if the phyri decided to take it.
Naun emerged from the cave in a flurry of feathers, she performed a tight swoop around the cave entrance and came to a delicate stop atop one of the sturdier stone towers. Balancing her weight just so the royally colored helmroc sat atop the fragile tower comfortably, her eyes fixed on yet another new presence. Before her stood a phyri of gold complexion, a sweet face, yet charm was able to mask many dangers. The great bird was already wracked with anxiety, every new face meant another new impostor to discover, and at times it felt like too much a task for one to do alone. The phyri stopped beneath a long vine and Naun froze, unsure of what to expect.
Col sunk to the cave floor to pick up his spilt stones, his heart a little heavier with the company. He knew he could not expect his sister or Quaes to understand how he felt about such things; some beings are just not built to be social creatures. He shifted his mask lower, finding comfort in the anonymity it provided.

Dashiell chuckled brightly as he watched the creature, his furtive movements, really he was quite taken with quaes even if he was a bit of a klutz it was cute on him. Nodding happily as he sipped down the rest of the well made tea, holding out the mostly empty cup for him to refill "You know, even if you are..a bit clumsy, it does taste very good! Do you get many visitors here?" he asked curiously though he that he wouldnt get an answer.
"Its a beautiful little home you have here to" he was eager to meet the others as well, so many little voices and faces, and his own samorn in the clearing as well..hopefully not being hit on by that other bothersome male.

Dilated, liquid gold eyes widened even further at the eruption of color that came streaking out of the cave only to circle and settle with utmost grace atop one of the strange pillars that dotted the landscape. Ellery watched, transfixed, as the burst of color resolved itself into a brilliantly colored helmaroc... whose commanding ruby gaze settled directly on the now skittish golden phryi.
Locked into that crimson stare, Ellery did not even realize she had been moving haltingly backwards---
---until her rump collided with the immovable stone of the wall.
Letting out a surprised squeal, Ellery shot forward and further into the clearing clapping both hands over her mouth in a vain attempt to take back her undignified squeak and looked around hoping no one besides the regal helmaroc had seen her blunder.
