Well, apparently Adhara was going to be caught in the act of letting the boy loose. Niita nuzzled against the boy's palm for affections, though decided that wrapping loosely around his wrist was a better idea, as it involved less staying upright of it's own volition. "His name is Niita. He's some kinda tentacle thingy," she commented in a hushed whisper, just to answer the question before looking toward the techs once again. She wasn't completely sure when she'd decided that Reena was female and Niita was male; it just sorta fit.
She blinked at the techs a few times, before looking really worried at how grave their expressions were. She hopped up onto the bed next to Pepper, fidgeting with the end of her dress with one hand and letting Reena knit between her fingers apprehensively. She thought that they were going to tell her that she was going to die in a month or something, which was a really uncomfortable thing to feel. Running a hand through her ponytail, she offered a pathetic smile, fueled by fake confidence.
"Not very long... almost a week now, I think...?" she offered up. It had been somewhere between four and six days, that was all she knew. Maybe longer, shorter, whatever. She wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to her own behaviors, and -like most people- lost track of time when she was sick. She took another sip of the drink before giving the bottle to Pepper. Watching the techs nervously for a reply.

The woman looked a bit nervous and she chewed on her lower lip as if wondering what was the best thing to say. Neither of them commented ont he fact she had been releasing the boy they had tried so hard to capture.
She moved over noticing the boys stuff response and the growl emmiting from his throat.
"Dear....I...don't know how to tell you this...b..but." She awkwardly patted the girls shoulder the man looked like he was uncomfertable and shifted feeling weird.
"Y..your pregnant. You...know how..this happened ?" She asked Quietly.
Pepper hissed not liking the woman close when Adhara had free'd him.

It would be very nice if this woman could just spit it out already! The tension alone was what was driving Adhara up the wall and then over it and then in a few other directions, which was more annoying than anything else that she was going to say!! She grumbled a bit, patting Pepper's head when he growled to show that she would be fine- she could take care of herself well enough. After all, she didn't lose to turkeys anymore, that was for sure. Now, if only this tech would just-
"...what?" Adhara stated, eyes widening and jaw dropping just slightly. She- she was- she was WHAT?! Nonono, that wasn't true. She felt tears pool in her eyes without her approval and growled softly at herself, rubbing them out. NonononoNO, she was not carrying LIFE inside of her, that was CRAZY. But... no, that couldn't have been... had he really... was Adriel really...?
Her eyes widened even further and one and fell back to her lap, the other covering her mouth at the sudden realization, a shiver running up her spine. So... she was pregnant. That is, with child. She had a LIVING THING growing inside her... and it belonged to Adriel?! No, that couldn't be- shouldn't be possible. But... it couldn't be anything else, could it? Could it? Hah, she doubted it. Despite their odd births, the children were still just that- children. As they grew, they would become adults, and still be biologically people. She choked back her tears and shook her head, wiping the back of her hand across her eyes and sniffling a bit. "Y-yeah... I know how i-i-it hap-pened," she mumbled softly. Yeah, 'cause she'd been stupid enough to sneak through the window of another Lust child. Nice going, Adhara.

The woman watched the girls expression a bit of a sad expression on her face. She flickered a glance back at her lab companion before continueing. "We...can't offer you much more than that...and had to informour boss... Mr. Vampy is waiting for you in his office now..." She explained as this was a first for the facility....they weren't sure just how the pregnancy would work.
"If..you would please leave Pepper here..it looks like you have calmed him down enough." She sighed at the last remark as Pepper stuck his tongue out at her.

Adhara looked over at Pepper with a bit of a frown, though she couldn't help laughing a bit -a sound made pitiful by her crackled voice- when he stuck his tongue out at the tech. Gently, she patted his head a bit. "Don't worry, the needles don't hurt too bad. If you close your eyes and hold your breath, then it'll be over before you know it," she said, confident in the boy's ability to actually sit through just the little shots.
She hopped off the bed and waved to the little boy, leaving the soda with him and retrieving her backpack, shaking her head and wiping her eyes a bit. This was not a good thing, at all. Worst of all, she would probably have to tell Noah, and he was not going to be happy that she'd actually had sex when she was only a preteen. That... would also be a really strange thing to explain, wouldn't it? She shook her head and nodded toward the female technician, smiling weakly and following her to wherever it was she was supposed to be going.
See, this was exactly what Noah had been trying to avoid. Thankfully, thankfully for him, Haleriun was currently asleep and, though he was heavy, it was much easier to keep track of the boy while carrying him rather than trying to make sure his attention was on you the entire time, so he didn't wander off and become a missing person. Not that it should be difficult to lose a BLACK snake-child in a WHITE building. Whatever. He had a child harness on Aludra, though he really didn't want to, and was standing at a desk, waiting for someone to come over to help him. Upon the sight of a person, he offered a weak smile in replace of a wave as greeting. "'Scuse me, I was told that I would need to come down for a meeting with a 'Mr. Vampy' about my daughter, Adhara By'arre, who came in earlier for a doctor's appointment...?"

The technician only looked up seemingly confused before a short buzz alerted her of someone wanting to speak.
"Show Mr. By'arre to my office please." Came the eeriely calm voice from the speaker phone. THe woman only jerked her head back up in alarm to look at Noah wondering what sort of trouble was being roused by this meeting. The appointment had been made suddenly, and those kind of appointments made the staff nervous.
"R..right t..this way." The woman stuttered wondering if this man with wo children would come back alive. Te idea caused her to shudder as she came to her bosses door and knocked on it lightly before opening it and ushering Noah and his kids inside.
Vampy was sitting in his rather expensive office chair, a pot of tea and small cakes were already on his desk the man smiled a small smile as Noah entered and then caught the gaze of the secretary before she could make her escape.
"If you with you can leave your children with Miss. Brin you...probably would like to stay focused for this conversation." He offered the woman flinched being made to be baby sitter but knew she had no choice. SHe hoped the man Noah would object.

Noah nodded a bit, and followed the technician through the halls, glancing around a bit. It had been... quite a long time since he'd last been in this building. To visit J'her was the last time. He shivered slightly. Yeah, that had not been the pleasantest of experiences, but at least they'd gotten it out of the way early on. Now they still had to meet her other mother, but that was going to be later. Besides, this meeting was supposed to be with this... Vampy person. He blinked a few times. That name was completely ridiculous.
Noah offered a nervous smile in return, glancing toward the woman when she was mentioned. The flinch made him rethink, but he didn't really want to deal with Aludra if he was supposed to be in such an important meeting. "Sorry 'bout this, but they'll be distracting, I'm sure of it," he said with a soft laugh, offering over the handle of the leash that held a bitter looking Aludra, before carefully handing over the sleeping toddler in his arms, waving a bit as the woman left.
He took a seat in one of the chairs across from the man, crossing his legs and glancing around the room curiously, before settling his gaze back on the silver-haired man, a shiver running up his spine. He wasn't completely sure what it was about him that made him feel so uncomfortable, but his presence was... unnerving. "So... what was I called in for, exactly?" No point in beating around the bush, after all.

Vampy waited a moment the door clicked in place behind Miss. Brin and then he titled his head to one side like he was listeing and then content went to pour himself a cup of tea.
"Would you like some?" He inquired as if he was mearly delaying the information in order to make Noah annoyed at him.
"Would you like me to tell you...or your daughter once she comes in? She will be joining us shortly. I have..quite a bit of informtion to tell you both." He continued to explain why he hadn't just informed Noah. He was giving him a choice. To get the information straight and blunt from a person who was going to treat it as business or wait for a daughter who had been acting strange and moodly for the past four days.

Noah tapped his foot in the air anxiously, watching the man through tired brown eyes. Maybe he should have kept Hale with him. Even asleep, that kid was better for this anxiety than this unnervingly calm man ever was or ever would be. At the offer, Noah blinked out of a staring-off-into-space state and nodded a few times, standing to retrieve a cup and pour himself some tea, taking a sip gratefully. "Thank you," he commented graciously, stepping backward to sit back down in his chair and watch the man curiously as he spoke.
"Perhaps... it would be best if you told me first," he said simply. If it was something bad, then, knowing first he would have a chance to make up as though he was perfectly fine with all of the news, and actually be able to comfort his daughter. Well, maybe not fine with it, but actually able to handle it, which was what he was supposed to be doing, or else all his kids would panic and wreak havoc.

Vampy looked the man over and nodded his head slowly. He appraised the situtaion for a breif moment looking over his tea cup to stare at Naoh with his peircing golden gaze.
"I should of known it would happen eventually...children baised with lusts genetics..they can only last so long before they fall prey to their more carnal desires." He started with a sigh that sounded like he should of known but didn't really care or stop it from happening. It was a bit dramatic...like he was reading lines off of a script.
"unfortunately your daughter has a reason for...her sudden change in moods, need for sleep; unheard of for deiligence based children; as well soon I imagine food cravings." His eyebrows furrowed as he thought on it, they would have to see what to do about some of those...cravings.
"Sir...your daughter is pregnant. I am not sur eif you are aware of her...sexual activities, but she is approximately four weeks, bvy human standards ; pregnant."

The first part of the speech was only uncomfortable for the fact that the man was staring at him. Noah took another sip of tea, still holding the cup near his mouth as though trying to hide from the other person. He nodded a bit at the idea of the lust-based genetics thing and the giving into desires, all of that stuff. Some time ago they'd discovered that Adhara had pheromones in her blood, so Noah wouldn't be surprised if those or Adriel's -if Adriel had pheromones- had been the entire cause of the situation. He still wasn't completely sure what that had to do with anything.
Noah barely avoided rolling his eyes at the reiteration of everything that he'd already noticed, just nodding along absently. The food cravings comment, however, made him stop, giving Vampy a rather perplexed expression. "Food... cravings...?" he asked, blinking a few times curiously. 'Waitwaitwait- food cravings. Food cravings are usually those things that are joked about when someone is- Oh, no, you can't say that Adhara is-'
"Pregnant," he said, more-or-less in sync with Vampy, dropping his head into his free hand, the other one catching itself before he actually dropped anything. That was... no. That was very no. She was only a preteen, a PRETEEN. BEING A TEENAGER WOULD HAVE BEEN BAD ENOUGH!! Noah grumbled irritably into his hands, before his eyes snapped wide open at the statement of four weeks. "Wait- FOUR weeks? That can't be right, no; that... I mean, that only happened a week ago at most. How can she be four weeks along already?!"

Vampy wasn't surprised by the man's reactions. He supposed if he had those sorts of human emotions he would react similarly. Somehow he doubted it. He waited paitently for Naoh to stop spluttering and sipped his tea while he did so.
"You seem to forget...she isn't human." He reminded the man as he took another long draught of his tea. "Human gestation periods don't apply to demons or angels. W..They are their own species...and thus their breeding is different." He explained patiently before he set his tea down and then looked like he was listening again.
"Hmm perhaps we should wait until your daughter arrives before I explain the rest. what is to be expected, what she should know." He concluded stating the discussion was not open until Adhara had arrived.

"Wull, yeah, I mean, I know that she's not, but I didn't expect that... so... different..." he mumbled, slowly sinking back in his chair and taking a drink of the quickly cooling tea, staring into the air out in front of him with a rather dazed look on his face. It was less the pregnancy and more how far into it she already was. He fiddled with his teacup, drinking the rest of it easily, and occasionally trying to sip at it when it was empty. I was very... quiet now. Uncomfortably quiet.
Finally, Adhara knocked gently at the door before being let in, looking worse-for-the-wear, which was no surprise with how she'd been recently anyway. 'Course, the fact that she'd been crying definitely added to her disheveled appearance. Noah was the first one she approached, and he placed his teacup on the nearest flat surface, before giving her a comforting hug, which only had her tearing up again, as annoying as that was really getting. If it weren't for the tears, however, it would be no surprise for her to be getting completely bawled out by her father right now.
She took a seat on the floor, leaning up against one of Noah's legs. He pet her hair a bit, sighing and looking back toward Vampy. "So... what was it you wanted to say, otherwise...?"

Vampy's gaze fixated on Adhara as she entered his eyebrows furrowed as if he too was finally accepting the test restults but he didn't comment as he continued to drink the tea. He offered Adhara the tea and cakes as well, who knows she may of been hungry.
"Now, I am not going to ask how it occured. I am only going to ask if you know who the father is?" He started since he was desperate to know what genes were going to pass down from the mother and father to the baby.
"As well....I am sure you are a bit stunned at the moment, but I have...all the information you will need to know...so you dont need to worry or fear. The facilities will be looking out for you and your child while your pregnancy progresses." That sounded like he was informing them that there was going to be..tests...and more appointments...
"You must understand being the first...to concieve...we want to make sure every precuation is used."

Adhara smiled weakly at the hospitality, walking forward on her knees to pour herself a cup of tea and take a piece of poundcake, creeping back to lean against Noah, setting her tea beside her and taking a bite of the cake, chewing it over while she listened to the question. Niita wrapped around Noah's leg loosely, as though trying to hide from the fact that Adhara knew that it was his fault- well, it was the fault of all three of them, but Reena and Niita had been a little too overenthusiastic about staying. At least they had to pay for it, too, so tired as of recently. Reena simply rested in Adhara's lap, not caring to do much else while nothing else was needed to be done.
Amber eyes blinked up at the man when he asked that, and she didn't even need to think. She looked down at her teacup, poundcake balanced on her knee, fiddling with it a bit. She felt like admitting this would be a terrible, terrible thing, or something like that. Or maybe even that they would get mad at Adriel- being older, people usually blamed, well, older people for youngers' mistakes. Adhara sighed, shaking her head a bit and taking a sip of her tea before glancing up at Vampy once more. "Adriel's the father," she said meekly, as though once the words were out of her mouth the entire Facility would combust. But... it didn't, so she supposed that things were alright, still. Maybe.
She nodded a few times at the added information, before looking at the door, then -once again- back at Vampy. "Um... if I have to come back here, then will I have the same tech? Or, what I'm trying to say- Can I have the same tech?" she asked, though she didn't want to say that the girl was a lot nicer than the other ones, for fear that this man would somehow find that as insulting, or get rid of her for it or something. Her brain wasn't exactly working properly at the moment.
