Jiang looked up at Reu with wide eyes then gave him a gentle nudge, "She is just trying to be nice." The little kirin told his mate before he gave the book and bear both a snuggle. One would think that Reu would be happy that they were saving money on the two items.
It meant getting to have an adorable bear at home to snuggle and a very interesting book to read that he felt like he just had to have.

Switch's gaze moved towards the one who was questioning her, her eyebrows raised in surprise. Turning down something free? Really? "I don't think I need to know someone to give them a gift." She said sweetly, her gaze moving towards the smaller of the two to give him a smile. "But yes, they are yours." She said, extending and waving her hand as if offering something to them.
"Unforunately, do the abundance of...things...in this shop, I'm afraid I won't allow returns, no matter what." Her smile remained.

"Ummmmmm...............okay?" Reumiae said, blinking at her a bit and shrugging before leaning down to pick up Jiang. "All right, dear, I think we need to head home. You've had enough excitement for today."

"Thank you very much for the wonderful gifts." Jiang said, bowing his head to the woman in a polite and thankful manner. He wasn't sure what she meant about returning things, it wasn't nice to return gifts, besides he felt no desire to bring back the two items. Instead he wanted to read the Phobias book and snuggle the bear and Reu both as he did so.
He gave a soft smile as he was lifted up off of his hooves and back into Reu's arms and he leaned against him, "That sounds nice." He murmured, feeling relaxed enough again to go back out into the crowd.
