Lilly_Fox She stood straighter and puffed out her chest in a play at the macho steriotype before offering the hat back to him. "Well, thank you! I still think it suits you far better." She said, through the hat brim.
He seemed like such a stronghold for her. She didn't quite understand let alone acknowledge the feeling welling it the pit of her stomach. She felt so happy and free. The mare hadn't felt such a feeling but had never had a very good friend, and assumed that was what she was feeling.
It was hard, furious, and yet warm, fuzzy, and intoxicating.

Kaisanti Juan laughed softly, pausing and bowing his head low for her to replace the hat. "Thank you, M'dear. I do think it is rather dashing." He replied playfully, tone teasing. Once the item was back in its rightful place he resumed their walk, leading her slightly downhill towards a dip in the softly roling land.
"Have you been down here before? There is a fasinating rocky outcrop that looks like some great bird caught in stone.. its a good place to shelter from the wind and rain in bad weather." He looked softly down at her, pleased that she had decided to accept this little trip..

Lilly_Fox "You look just as dapper without." She told him with a wink as she followed him. "No...I can't say that I have." The mare added, her tail flicking as she looked at their surroundings with interest.
"Wow, that sounds fasinating." Alaure paused briefly. "I once saw a rock the shape of a turtle welling up in the center of a pond where I grew up." She told him.

Kaisanti Juan smiled. "Really?" Glancing down at the cloth that adorned his body he studied it a moment. "I suppose Ive never really thought about being without... this attire is normal where I come from. Maybe I shall go without one day?" he looked back at her with a grin.
Ears pricking as he led her slowly down the hill he tilte dhis head. "Really? You know, they say that certain places contain spirits, that amost any rock that takes the shape of a living thing, is actually possessed by the animal's spirit. They are supposed to be places where you can go to speak wiht the spirits and ask their guidence, or their help."

Lilly_Fox She lofted a delicate brow beneath her mask. "My, that most certainly sounds intriguing." The mare told him. "I'd never thought of that..." She looked up to the inky, night sky. "I was told that when good Soquili die their spirits are homed as stars, and they can come down when they please to interact with us." She said, almost lost in the wonder of countless star clusters. Alaure chuckled softly.
"When I was little my Auntie used to point out the star she believed was my mother's." She added. "I used to believe her...but now I'm not so sure." The flutter admitted. "I mean, there are so many! And besides, why would Soquili get such an honour and not other creatures?"

Kaisanti Juan grew quiet as she spoke, head lifting to gaze skywards. The night sky was a wonderous and beautiful thing. It was a shame that so few appreciated it. Looking back at her as she fell quiet, he smiled softly, letting his flank bruch against her, hoping to reasure her.
"Maybe your Auntie was right? After all, there are many things in this world that we can not understand.. there is no reason why our ancestors can't be up there, looking down and watching over us." He smiled warmly. "Why only us? I could ask why it is that you are so beautiful when the amadilo or mole is so ugly... Fate.. nature? Who knows, I only know that it is so... "

Lilly_Fox She blushed deeply. "Well, I suppose you're right. It just all seemed so perfect...almost too good to be true." The mare explained as she allowed herself to almost melt into his warmth. "But it would most assuredly be a grand thing were it true." She said softly. "But," She sighed softly in contentment. "What could it hurt to indulge myself with such a fancy?" She set her eyes up to his, a soft smile set upon her lips.

Kaisanti Juan smiled softly, gently nuzzling against her slender neck as they walked. "I like to beleive that something is never too good to be true. After all, I found you didn't I?" Smiling warmly he met her gaze a moment.
An ear flicked back as he suddenly smiled. "I just remembered something.... come, I want to show you this..." Stepping away to one side he paused, looking back at her with a soft smile, wanting her to follow him

Lilly_Fox Alaure chuckled softly as she looked to him. "Yes, and I found *you*." She told him before he turned away to lead her elsewhere. Her ears perked with intrest as she followed him. She was content to merely follow him without asking where they were going. If he intended for her to know ahead of him, she knew he'd tell her.
She usually wasn't *this* trusting, but she felt like she knew Juan inside and out. She'd trust him with her life. He had done so much for her emotionally. He provided her with self-worth, and a good friend. None of which she had since her foal-hood. Her tail flicked softly as she followed him.

Kaisanti Juan slowed till she caught up with him then led her quietly on, tail swaying in silent excitment as crimson gaze searched for the path he knew existed within the copse of woodland they had entered. Spotting it he angled their direction slightly, guiding her with the light brush of his flank against her own.
"here..." he murmured softly a few minutes later, pausing before a light screen of weeping willow and motioning with his muzzle for her to step through first. On the other side, he knew there was a small glade with a small spring in the middle. The pool, no more than apace across, was perfectly round, and on the night of the full moon, when the moon as directly over head, it looked as if the moon itself had come to rest wihtin the pool. Lighting the cool water up with silver. This night, the moon was a slither, but it the water of the spring were the sweetest and most refreshing he had ever found. How he had almost forgotten about this secret place he had no idea.

Lilly_Fox Alaure walked through the delicate, supple bows and her golden eyes widened at the sight before her. The glade was absolutely gorgeous! "Oh...my...Juan..." She gasped, in awe of the place he had taken her. "How did you find this place?" She asked takign another step forward and looking around.
She turned to look toward the stallion, her eyes lighting, a soft smile curving her lips. The mare's wings fluttered slightly sending the moonlight sparkling off metallic coloured adornments of her wings.

Kaisanti Juan followed behind her, head dipping to prevent his hat being swept from its perch by the curtain of branches. Smiling at her reaction he stepped up beside her. "By accident... I was following the faint deer path we were just on and came across it.. It is a shame its not the full moon tonight, but I had wanted to show it to you." Stepping forwards he glanced back at her, crimson eyes warm, and smile soft. Turning to the spring he lowered his head, velvet muzzle barely making the surface ripple and he drank the of cool water. The cresent moon sparkled within the pool as if it had fallen from the sky and landed there, turning the water silver with reflected light.

Lilly_Fox Alaure watched him bend his neck to drink. The way his broad muscles rippled under his pelt made her feel like her stomach was heavy and her heart leapt into her throat. She felt suddenly very happy, and excited. Her heart beat at a hurried pace, she felt warm and tingly.
She had never felt such a way before. "Juan..." She began, her voice a little less steady than she had thought it would be. "Won't you tell me of your travels?" She asked, her voice evening out.

Kaisanti Lifting his head to look back at her he smiled softly. Stepping back to her side he tilted his head, wondering where to start. For a moment he was distracted as the moonlight gleamed gently over her coat, soft ebony fur rippling like black silk in the faint glow of the moon, the details on her wings shimmered and sparkled. She truly looked as though she had steped directly out of some myth to appear beside him..
After a moment he collected himself and chose his first story. His voice, kept soft and gentle in the warm darknes that surounded them, begane to weave fasinating and sometimes unusual stories. One after another he regaled her with the adventures of his past. Those of a young colt taking his first steps, embarasing blunders and dareing exploits such as his trip to save a fish from downing that ended up with him needing to be rescued himself. Then on, as he grew up the trips became longer, more serious. Untill he was a full grown stallion, taking upon himself his mission to discover the where-abouts of the vanished Rose Court, which was considered just a myth, and the near misses he had experienced since traviling to this part of the land.
The hours passed by, the moon slowly drifting over head, its reflection crossing the small pool to their side before fading from the still waters. As the temperature dropped Juan shifted closer, gently settling her slender form into the curve of his muscled body, neck arched over her own as he lightly nuzzled her mane and ear, breath warm.

Lilly_Fox Alaure sighed contentidly. As she laid against his side everything seemed right in the world. She rolled her golden eyes up to his crimson pair lazilly, a soft, light smile gracing her lips. She wasn't thinking so much as feeling. "Mmmm...you're so warm." She murmured, snuggling even closer, adjusting her wings neatly. She had never felt so at peace in her life. The mare would give anything for this moment to never end.
