Akiko mentally scolded herself for allowing him to get the better of her. As he backed off she again rolled before and righted herself, however this time she remained on her feet instead of taking a seat. She eyed him as he sat before her introducing himself to her. Her brow raised a little as he spoke his name. ‘Hunter, interesting name.’ She herself thought it as more a title then a name really. After all she’d never heard it as a name before but she said nothing, she didn‘t want to sound rude and truth be told she actually kind liked it. “My name is Akiko.”

Hunter nodded, smiling at the lightly colored female, "Akiko, it's fitting." Getting to his paws again, he stretched languidly and waved his tail eagerly, "Well then, Akiko, Since you seem to be in a bit of danger on your own, I'm going to stay with you for the time being. You are my company for the afternoon. What will you show me first of this place?" He looked to her expectantly and waited for her to lead the way. Straight-forward and a little pushy; this male wasn't going anywhere but where he chose. Right now, he chose to go wherever this female was going to take him.

Akiko blinked, a little confused as to what exactly he meant by saying her name was fitting. She didn’t ask though, she remained silent as he continued to speak and she listened her ears perked up a little. He was a rather bossy male it seemed, she wasn’t sure how she felt about that. She wasn‘t really sure how she felt about him tagging along with her. “Well…Um, I..I can’t show you anything. M..My brothers will come looking for me soon.” She wasn’t honestly sure when her brothers would come for her, but if they did it might be best if he wasn’t with her. “B..besides there’s nothing here to show, just trees, plants and the stream and the fire mountain.”

Hunter's ears perked up at the young female's uncertain mention of brothers and his eyes glinted slightly with mischief. These brothers of her were bound to be protective of the fair young lady; it could be fun. "Alright, it's decided then," He announced cheerfully, padding around Akiko again, "since this forest holds so little places of interest, then we shall visit your home. A pretty little lady like you must live in a gorgeous part of this lush landscape!" His tail waved eagerly behind him and he glanced at their surroundings. "Which way is it? Don't be shy! Lead the way, lead the way!" Deep purple eyes danced with delight as he returned to her side and headbutted her gently.

Akiko’s eyes widened even as the pink coloring tainted her face. She quickly shook her head as she took a step for two back from the colorful male. “N..no, I… I can’t take you to my home. My parents w..would be very upset. And… and…” She fell silent when she realized that this was her only reason for not wanting to take him to her home, her family would be upset. She wasn’t sure about her mother but her father and brothers would likely be a little less then welcoming to this new comer that had followed her home.

She was blushing again; how cute! Hunter chuckled and gave a reassuring smile. "Don't be silly, my dear," He began with a deep growl, "I'm sure you've found that I'm quite the sociable fellow!" His tail swayed more calmly now behind him as he returned to her side. "To have molded such a wonderful young lady, your family will surely find no fault with me. Now, I implore you, lead the way my adorable companion!" Again, the confident male gave her a gentle, urging nudge to move forward.

She sighed lightly as he nudged her a little. Frowning a little as her blush grew warmer from his words and she knew there was nothing she could do to convince him other wise.
Slowly she nodded as she looked up to him again. "O..ok" She paused a brief moment before her soft voice was heard again. "I..If that is really what you wish." And so turning back the way they had come from just a little while ago she started to walk. It was a steady but still somewhat slow pace. She tried not to think of her parents reaction to things as they reached the cliff area.
Once at the wall she looked up to the ledge she had been seated on before. If being higher then the tallest point on the rock she had seen him resting on before it was quiet a jump. Crouching a little she sprung up like a spring landing on the ledge above him with no problem. Bounding off to the left side of the first ledge she jumped to the next one, just a few feet higher. She did this three more time, with what looked like no effort at all before she stopped to see if he was still following ok.

Watching the way the muscles in her legs flexed as she lept from the ground to the first ledge and to the next few, Hunter gave a low, appreciative growl. He waited till she left the first ledge before bounding up after; these were pretty decent jumps, so perhaps the female's skills weren't a lost cause after all. As he stood paused on one of the rocky outcroppings, he glanced out over the landscape below, admiring the view. Violet eyes glittered with wicked curiosity when he noticed the clear view he had of the rock he had chosen to rest on earlier, but he chose not to ask and instead continued to follow the light, tawny female up the cliff face.

Reaching the top of the cliff Akiko hoped up and started off down a well worn path through the forest. She was nerves, but she looked calm for the most part. She walked at a medium pace, only glancing back once as the male reached the top as well. She was sure she wouldn’t loss him, and in some way was glad. The tree’s grew thicker as the walked on, the path weaving back and forth around the large trunks.
Akiko remained silent as the moved, not sure what to say to the colorful male Palu. The tawny female found herself hoping that her family would not react in the way that she knew they where going too. She liked the idea of having a friend, even if he was a little… odd.
The forest soon thickened to the point that the light from the sun no longer reached them. Akiko’s eyes adjusted quickly as she climbed over up grown roots and between rather close trees. “It’s not far.” She spoke softly while stealing another glace at Hunter, and smiling gently. The path had started to become less notable as the forest started to thinken, and now was not visible at all. Akiko continued on with no trouble though and not long afterwards she stepped out of the trees and into a small but well lit clearing. There was a small mound that held the den entrance on the far side. Right near where they stood now there was a little stream.
The forest trees cast a shadow over the den, the sun having already past over the top of this area. The trees sheltered the area and hide it from site. Protected the family that lived within. Shadows hide most of the forest from site once you where in the clearing though. Like a world within a world. Akiko smiled and ventured forwards to drink from the water before looking back. “This is my home.”
