...definetely weird stuff...I wonder just what might've really happened there... Wonder what would happen if it did something to this train too. Ciri played for a moment with the amusing thought, but in the end abandoned it. He didn't leave Poland just to die here. And if it really was the same thing that happened at home, it wasn't even that interesting to look at. "I'm, like, not really sure if it's the same thing." The blonde boy shook his shoulders. "I'm from Poland. Not that it matters that much. People were dying. A lot of them. Very often. With no reason at all. They were just, like, walking, minding their own business, and suddenly WHAM! Fell on the ground, totally dead. And nobody could tell, like, why. Sounds weird enough for me, don't'cha think?" "Japanese?" His ears momentarily perked "I haven't had much time to, like, try it yet... But I've heard it's totally good!"

Fei listenned to Ciri talk almost as if she were in a trance. She didn't know things were that bad. She certaintly knew people died by what she heard in the news but they all seemed to suffer from that sort of atonous apathy that made them less human than animals. And as far as her family was involved there were signs that could be linked to emotional stress, most people that died like that had shown signs of severe depression, almost as if they had given up on life. She frowned and brought one hand up to thoughtfully bite on her right thumb's nail, she always did that when she got anxious or nervous.
"It sounds bad." she agreed, still frowning. Somehow she found the male's point of view slightly disturbing. He didn't seem phazed by all of this, he somehow seemed excited. She wondered if that was normal, but then again....
"We shall stop to buy a thing or two then." she smiled at Ciri. "I bet my brother's fridge is as empty as the desert." though using such a warm place to describe a fridge was, like, totaly wrong.

"Totally." Ciri nodded. "And it happened all the time, all the time, so most people escaped through the borders as soon as they could. 't was a miracle that I managed to find a plane that was still going. 'ts pretty rare to see a person there now." "Well, sains don't need food, do they? Or were those martyrs...well, like, whatever. Let's go shopping!" Yep, he definetely liked how this sounded. Shopping. Perfect cure for everything. "So, like, what do we need?"

"Do you think it will get this bad here too...?" Fei trailled off and frowned. "And is all of Europe that bad too? And if it is... why aren't the media broadcasting it...? It's been the shame old things for ...who knows how long..." she heaved an exasperated sigh and looked away again then got up to be ready for when they would arive at the next station. It was the one closest to their destination since they were going to buy food on their way up there.
"Some vegetables and bread." she said thinking of what to cook. "Maybe some sushi too, if there's anything good being served."

"I, like, hope not." The blonde boy shook his head. "It was totally quiet and empty and boring. SO not wanting to go through that again." As soon as as the woman stood up, he followed her and got ready to move out of the train. "Not sure about that. As far as I'm aware, other places aren't that bad. At least nothing like that was mentioned when the tv was still broadcasting..." "Wow, like, sushi? I totally want to try that! A happy laughter came out of Ciri's mouth, when he looked at the woman happily. "And what will we do with the veggies?"

"You don't seriously think..." "You're taking it awfully lightly." Fei couldn't but voice the thought that plagued her. She frowned a little and forced herself to look straight up at the boy no matter that she didn't feel like it. Caught in the moment and her thoughts she almost didn't hear the announcer call out the name for their station.
She shook her head and made a small nod for the other to follow. "They don't mention it in the news as much as of lately." Fei frowned "It's almost as if the people is getting used to it. I-It's not normal at all!" she exasperated. "Can you leave, Taneda?" she asked in her thoughts making the ghost flinch. The male sighed and merely did as requested. He couldn't deffy her will. She was the one summoning after all. "We'll fry them." she repplied as long as the vegetables were concerned. Really, she was almost sure this was the only way one could eat vegetables and be satisfied by them, she wasn't a fan of salads for one.

"...and how would you like me to take it?"The boy asked curiously, looking at the woman. Wonder what did she expect. Besides, it was she who was asking, wasn't it? So, like, where's the problem..? Ciri shook his head. "...just because something isn't normal, you think people can't get used to it?" How weird... "...people can, like, get used to everything. Really everything. If they have enough time. Don't you agree?" How unusual. She seemed so...innocent, in some ways, at least that's what her questions pointed to. Ciri giggled. It was cute. Though I wonder for how long? "Ohhh." Well, the veggies didn't get much more of a comment from him. He was used to either fresh or boiled. Wonder how will fried taste~ "'m sure they'll be tasty."

Fei lowered her eyes, embarassed almost. She didn't know what to reply to that answer that she received from the boy. She couldn't deny that his words were logical if nothing... It was just... she felt like... She bit her lower lip in a nervous manner and avoided to look back up again. "I don't know." she finally replied. She really didn't. She didn't know what she expected of the boy or what she expected of humans to do. Maybe she was waiting to see a reaction. Maybe she feared the final outcome of all of this. Yes, it was probably it combined with the fear for something that was unknown, for something she didn't know -wasn't taught how- to confront. And ultimately it wasn't probably the loss that scared her the most, what would scare most people... It was already a given fact that her family would get caught in all of this, being who they were. They were already knee-deep into the events anyway. No, but still she couldn't shake that fear off her shoulders.
"You..." she suddently trailed off as the train slowed down as it slowly came into a halt inside Yoyogi station. "Your thoughts seem so simplyfied." she stated, smiling a little again. She didn't mean it as an insult, of course, even though one would think it was at first. "I envy you." she added. And in a sense, she really did.

The boy just smiled and shook his shoulders, his mind already drifting away from the topic of their conversation. He was looking through the window, watching how the specks of light moved on it... "...hm?" When the woman once again said something, his eyes went back to her, still smiling, still so annoyingly happy. "Like..." the smile grew wider "...what's there to be complicated?" "And there's totally nothing to envy. You should just think like you want and stuff, and it'll be good."

Fei admitted that the boy was rather right in what he was saying and so she decided it wasn't very wise to persist on her line of thinking. After all it wasn't urgent to analyze why people shouldn't get used to a situation such as death, how and why it was unnatural to do so... She felt her stomach turning into a tight knot just then. A premonition?
It will be good. It will be fine. It will be... she wanted to trust in those words. It was strange though. No matter how bright and hopeful those words were... she had this distinct feeling they were wrong. Their light could blind someone from seeing beyond it, the truth. Even though the truth was dark and painful... she didn't want to give in. Really... and just what was this feeling? It made her restless...
The train came to a full halt and the doors flung open. "This is our stop." Fei announced as she moved to exit the train. The station was quiet at this hour. Not many people came all the way out to Yoyogi at this time of day. After all there wasn't anything worth seeing at this hour. Yoyogi park was dark and Meiji Shrine was closed...
