It was going to be close. Oyumi could sense it. At this point, either one of the Pokemon could take the other out.
"Alright Kamu! Let's try and finish this! Use Confusion!"
The Girafarig quickly obeyed, his horns glowing purple again before he released the attack in the Eevee's direction. He was shaky on his legs, the long battle finally beginning to get to him.

Even though he had given his all (and let his fury get the best of him), it still wasn't enough to take down such a big opponent. Midnight once more felt the dizzying effect of the Confusion attack, but this time, instead of being able to shake it off, things started to spin around him.
"Eevee eve...?" he managed to call out before collapsing onto his side. The silvery Pokemon was out for the count.
LizDuck, though she felt sad, almost seemed to be getting used to her Pokemon ending up the runners-up. Pulling the empty Pokeball from her apron pocket, she beamed the red light at the passed out Pokemon.
"Return, you did a good job... I think...?" The idol was having second thoughts about the younger twin's outburst in the middle of the battle. She'd have to talk to him about that.
She then turned to the Girafarig and its trainer and gave a quick curtsey. "Thank you very much for the battle! Maybe we can do it again sometime!"
