"That sounds great!" Blossom nodded enthusiastically, already anticipating the world outside. "I'd love to go exploring with you," she added. "And if it is edible, then I'd be in eternal bliss."

Helios felt pretty sure that whatever they encountered outside, it would be edible; it was mostly Blossom's dream, and with him concurring with her wish, it would be a definite. But still, what sort of world would they look upon? There WERE lots of things that were considered edible.
He walked out of the castle and into the courtyard, where he stopped and gaped. Where before there had been just cottony pink mist, now a sparkling sugary world greeted them. Trees draped with frosting like snow, minty grass poking out of even more frosting on the ground, a pink lemonade pond, and various other edible decorations that became clearer the longer you looked at them. Helios couldn't keep back a smile as he turned to Blossom. "I think you really like pink." XD

"Wow." Blossom just stood there gaping at all the delicacies surrounding the palace. "I never thought there could be so much pink stuff in one place," she admitted a bit ruefully. "But I never imagined a dream could go to this extent!" She looked over admiringly at the pool of pink lemonade and plucked a strand of mint grass out of the frosting. "Do you want to try some?" she asked, offering it to Helios.

Looking down oddly at the piece of grass, Helios hesitantly accepted the grass, sniffed it, and took a small bite. His eyes widened as he savored the minty taste. "What a strange....refreshing taste. Like....cold water." He had a hard time describing it, since to his knowledge he had never had mint, but he liked the clean, crisp aftertaste it left.
Looking over at the pool of pink lemonade, Helios mused aloud. "I wonder what sort of drink that is..."

Blossom smiled and nodded. "It's quite refreshing, isn't it? I do believe the grass is mint." Her eyes followed Helios's gaze over to the pond. "And that, I think, is pink lemonade." Her eyes sparkled as she walked over, already imagining the cool taste in her mouth.

"Mint..." Helios let the word roll off of his tongue. He liked the sound of it, and the nice taste left him eager to see what everything else tasted like. Reaching down to pluck another piece of minty grass, he made to follow Blossom, curious as to what this pink lemonade tasted like, when he noticed that the soft white fluff he was walking on was clinging to his paws. Moving his paw up to hos mouth, he absently licked a piece off of his paw, his eyes widening as he did so. "Blossom, I think we're walking through.....cupcake topping." XD

"Really?" she looked down at the fluffy white stuff beneath her feet, and grinned. "Sweet! No pun intended," she added with a smile. She scooped up a pawful and took a bite, sucking blissfully on the rest of it as she continued to make her way to the pond. "I wonder if there's anyone else here?"

Helios looked around at her words, trying to see if there were any others that he could see. All he could see was the expanse of frosting, the pink lemonade lake, and some odd shadows off to the right that might have been some sort of trees. Wondering what the trees would taste like in a dream where everything was edible, he turned to Blossom. "I don't think there is anyone else here in the general area, or the lake would surely have drawn them. I'm already getting thirsty from the sweet things I've had." He reached the lake and carefully dipped a paw into the pink stuff, then sniffing his paw curiously and watching the liquid drip off of his paw and taint the frosting with pink.

"Hmm, that would make sense." Blossom nodded throughtfully at Helios's way of thinking and also dipped a paw into the lake. She watched as it dribbled down into the frosting before bending down and taking a sip. "It tastes alright," she confirmed as she turned to face Helios once again. "Not too sweet, not too sour." She gave him a reassuring smile, urging him to try the liquid also.

"Sweet? Sour?" Helios cocked his head and stared curiously at his paw. "I thought sweet and sour were opposites and not supposed to taste good together." At Blossom's reassuring smile, Helios dipped his paw in the pink liquid again and licked his paw. A wide smile broke across his face, and regardless of how silly it looked, he lowered his face down to the pond and began to lap it up like a kitten.

Blossom muffled a quick giggle as Helios bent down, quite relieved that he liked the lemonade. "It's good, isn't it?" she asked, dipping her head down and joining him. The delicious taste of the cool liquid filled her mouth, and, straightening, she wiped a few droplets off her fur. "What are we going to do now?" she asked.

Straightening up and looking slightly flushed, though whether it was from embarassment or from having his head down for so long even he couldn't tell, Helios looked around at the fuzzy landscape. "Well, we could explore a little more; I want to see what else is edible around here. Maybe we'll find other landscapes made from different foods and candies, or maybe even namrah made of sugar. Wouldn't that be interesting?"

"Yes, that definitely would." Blossom grinned, but then a little frown came upon her face. "But...what if the landscape was alive? We'd be eating it, wouldn't we?" she asked, a look of horror suddenly appearing. "I hope not," she added thoughtfully after she realized the unlikelihood of something like that ever happening.

Helios blinked at the thought of a candy landscape being as alive as a regular landscape with regular plants. "Wow....I nver thought of it that way.... but we eat plants in the real world anyway, don't we? Like carrots and spinach and mint leaves." He smiled at Blossom before gently pulling off another chunk of gooey icing ground. "We'll just have to make sure whatever we eat isn't part of a candy namrah, if we find anyone like that."

Blossom nodded, instantly reassured by his smile. "Wherever they are, I'm sure they'd let us know who they were before we take a bite," she added jokingly. She let a bit of the icing dissolve in her mouth while she sat back and thought for a while. "Helios..." She paused, a bit unsure of what she was supposed to say next. "Do you consider me as a friend?"
