Noel smiled, "Myabe it was meant to be, me putting up and the ad and you answering it?" It would be neat to think the isle wanted them together.
Noel squeezed her arm. Then she got a bigger smile, "Do you want to go swimming?" Noel had never gone swimming with Aysu and well...she wanted to do something she liked. "I've never gone so who better to teach me?"

Considering how cool the water was at this time of year, Aysu was almost certain that Noel would enjoy it. "Sure! Just beware that I can breathe underwater--you might have to remind me that being under the water too long can damage you." She blushed sheepishly, already realizing she might forget because Aysu hadn't swam with someone outside of her swimming pool before, with the exception of Zuri.
"I don't think the water froze over this year. After all, this has been a rather warm winter. Want to find the river we skated on when we first met?" Aysu giggled, remembering how they stumbled so much and eventually worked together to swim like the perfect pair.

"Ok, I will remember." Noel then giggled, "Or else you will see me turn red." Maybe that wasn't funny, but she figured Aysu would take good care of her.
"Yes, that would be a good spot. You'll have to help a little. I've never swum before." She jumped up now really excited to go. She smiled at Aysu and held out her hand.

"Okay, but I swim a bit differently than most people." Aysu grinned. "Though I've heard copying the methods of naiad swimmers makes other Pae'il swim faster." With a wink, Aysu led Noel the rest of the way to the cold, but unfrozen river.
When she got there, Aysu set down the wooden box next to the river before placing her legs in the water. Slowly, they went from being two separate entities to merging and twisting into one long, beautiful tail with a large fin on the very end. Gesturing to the tail, Aysu grinned. "How do you like it?"

"Well, I'll try my best." Noel smiled and then followed Aysu. She sat next to her and watched as her legs formed into a tail. "Wow, that is amazing!" She reached out her hand to touch the graceful tail and then stopped, "May I?"

Aysu turned to Noel and grinned widely, reaching up to Noel to stroke her cheek lightly. "Of course you can, my Ice Queen. You never have to ask." The naiad hoped Noel would like the little nickname she slipped into her sentence. She thought the nickname was feating herself; Noel was a lover of ice, and she was a queen. She was the queen of Aysu's heart.
Aysu played with the water with her free hand, taking it into her hand and pouring it over her body and tail. As nice as it was to be on land with friends, she would love even more to be in the water with friends.

Noel smiled and blushed at the nickname. She liked it. Noel then reached out her hand to touch the tail. At first very lightly with just her fingertips. It felt smooth and silky. "Wow..." She said as she then rubbed her hand up and down, "If feels so neat."

Aysu began to turn very red as Noel touched her tail lightly, and even giggled lightly. This was nice. The naiad offered a grin to her Noel. "I suppose it isn't every day that you get to feel a fish-tail." Well, she wasn't exactly a fish--more like a mermaid or something--but the tail certainly felt similar.
"This is why I swim differently," commented Aysu. "I feel with my legs together for rather obvious reasons." With a contented sigh, Aysu leaned over so she could kiss Noel's cheek lightly.

"Nope, but it's wonderful." She smiled and then pulled her hand back. "I can see, I know you are a wonderful swimmer." Noel was excited to see how graceful Aysu would be in the water.
Noel turned her face and kissed Asyu back. He felt ready as she would ever be. "Ok. Let's go!"

Before doing anything else, Aysu took off her ice ring so it wouldn't melt and set it by the log. "Alright!" The water was a little chilly when Aysu pushed herself the rest of the way in, but that might be better for Noel in any case. "I always think the best thing to do is just pull your body completely in the water. Just jump right in and let yourself adjust." Taking her own advise, Aysu ducked her head underwater and shuttered before bringing her head back to the surface.
"See? Just like that. This water's a bit chill, so I think you'll like it." The naiad winked, happily waving her tail around in the cool waters.

Noel took her advice and slid into the water. "Chilly, is right." It was nice and cold. It felt good, like warm water would feel to a regular pae.
She reached out and grabbed Aysu's hand. "Ok, what's first." She was a bit nervous. She knew she wasn't good at this, but Aysu was. She hoped she could keep up.

It was going to be rather hard for Noel to swim if she kept grabbing onto Aysu's hand, as much as the naiad enjoyed it. "Well, I've heard that other Pae'il swim best by kicking their legs in opposites. Left leg, then right leg, then left leg... and et cetera like that." Aysu nodded sagely. "However, I swim with both of my legs together like this," Aysu demonstrated the way her tail waved in the water to push her along in the water, appearing to be similar to the way a dolphin or some other large water mammal swam.
"It's your choice which method you use, but I think learning my method would be a little harder. Of course, it's also the only one I would know well enough to know if you're doing it exactly right." Eventually, Noel would have to let go of Aysu's hand, but that wasn't important right now. The angel needed to be comfortable first.

"Ok." Noel took her hand away and started to kick her feet and wave her arms so that she would stay afloat. It wasn't too bad. "Can I watch you?" She wanted to see the beauty of a naiad swim, and not any naiad, her love.

Aysu offered a small smile. "Okay, Noel! I'm sure you'll enjoy the show." With that and a teasing wink, she dove into the water--not so deep that she couldn't be seen, but deep enough that her entire body was decently submerged. Then, giggling all the while, she swam wide circles around Noel.
The naiad mainly propelled herself with her tail. Each tail movement was graceful as the last, and moved Aysu forward in the direction that she wanted to move. She twisted her body and sometimes moved her arms in a way similar to fins to flip over or swirl around as she swam towards her destination. Notably, while underwater, instead of breathing through her mouth, the gills she had at the sides of her chest gave her the air she needed.

Noel watched in awe as the naiad swam around her. It was indescribably beautiful. She had to remember to move her legs and arms so she didn't sink into the water. "Wow." She then did forget and sunk under....this view was even better.
