Liriel's tensions did not ease when the Haemon settled those hungry eyes onto her. Her fur bristled against her will, betraying the cold and collected silence she had cast over herself. She felt like he could see right through her, into the twisted mess of bundled nerves she was. And when he lunged..

Something inside of her snapped.

Her eyes dilated, claws dug into the dirt and made furrows into the ground, and her tail twitched and bristled in barely bridled anger. Somehow she managed to remain still and keep her growls silent, though she didn't doubt Haemon could feel the threatening vibrations through the fangs that clutched her throat.

Her heart only slowed when he slid away, and only then did her fur finally smooth again. She stared at him, with heated eyes that seemed to fortell his doom if he -ever- pulled a stunt like that again. She knew she didn't have to say a word. She knew he hadn't meant to hurt her, but next time she might not have such restraint if he pushed her over the edge. In that split moment when her pupils went wide with adrenaline, every nerve in her body screamed to rip and tear and mutilate whatever crossed her path. Hopefully he would come to understand the volitile forces of insanity that swam within her head, and as long as he did, they might be able to keep from killing each other on this trip.

She flicked her eyes at the alpha one last time, almost longingly, almost uncertainly, before she looked back to Haemon and gathered herself up to leave.

"Come, bold one...we have a slave to dismember.." she affected her favorite accent now, soft and smooth, that seemed to issue forth like a wisp of smoke, or the hiss of a snake in the grass. She stepped past him now, her tail only lightly trailing against his side, beckoning him to follow as she set out to the neck of the woods her alpha had bid her to go.

User Image Oooh, the air was full of rage, sweet delicious rage, but something was not so urgent in her steps. If the rage was boiling towards her, the bloodied tattered female would go with anyone wanting to die. She had no quarrels with playing a monster, as what many, who heard of the 'walking dead' wolf, thought. Or so the rumors went.

A red eye moved to look to one side as Valdis slipped towards the curious scent of boiling rage just as the howl of good ole Soft-skull vibrated through the 'kingdom'. The wolfess had been from the pack for some time, but she still wasn't really counting herself as a member of this court, and had found a few interesting wolves along with some good tasting ones while out on her 'scouting' mission. There were plenty of wolves that came and went, but only a few, a small few, had gathered to lay down pack lands.

The sharpened nose of the black and tan female had picked up the scent of the slave, who she had suggested torturing, maiming and doing other unmentioned things to scar up her pelt and will but wasn't noted, outside the perimeter. She had followed it to the river and walked along the path that hadn't been wreaking of the alpha for a couple days.

There had been nothing she found, and Valdis tired of her own curiosity rather quickly, no one to make scream or listen to them beg for some sort of mercy. Yeah, she was back in the realm of the Reign. Every sensical wolf was no where to be found.

The right side of her jaw lifted to expose her sharpened fangs in their entirety. The female was ready to turn around and leave out on her own wanderings again. Where everyone was edible and a target.

Breaking through some trees, towards the area she had found to be the location of the 'Lords and Ladies' dens, along with the 'King's'. The red eye rolled, along with the blue one, but that wasn't nearly as noticeable, there were a few new scents.

"Great," she muttered to herself, her attitude souring more as she progressed forward. Who else could she not rip into piecies and not eat?

Valdis stopped upon a small patch of grass, the blood trickling from her many open wounds and the torn flap of skin on her leg coming to a stand still with a small sucking noise. Her head tilted to the side as she could see a gray dainty female with silver adorning her and a web on her back slipping out of sight. A bright purple wolfess with a mask walking past a big black and red male not too far before big Soft-skull himself.

"Looks like someone has been busy," Valdis snorted as she padded forward, bloody prints fading as she moved closer to the parting group.

"I told your slave watcher to damage his pet, break her legs, make her know more then mental pain." the wolfess announced her arrival, unwanted or not. "Breaking of her mind with words might have been more fun to him, but blood is always a better reminder not to disobey as it leaves physical markings." Valdis finished in her blunt tone, as she came to stand still just off to the side of the trio, her 'good' eye locking upon the King of the Reign. Her tattered lips pulled back in a coy smile, "But you already know those things, don't you, Soft-Skull?"

Chernabog chuckled at Liriels reaction and nodded to her and Haemon as they set off, he was glad with the pair certain that between both their talents they would manage somehow. He turned as Valdis came, luckily his spirit was somewhat improved after his little ice queen had brought the pack a most useful member, and her own flirtatious display hadn't hurt either.

"Valdis, my acid tongued warrior, I really ought to have heeded your words. You can truly insult me now for my lack of hindsight. Still, the escape is a poor reflection of the pack as a whole, and I would have you one of my best out on patrol. Find her and you can do with the slave as you please, bring back whatever is left of her if you cannot keep her alive." His words had begun smooth but by the end they were a snarl.

Between the ferocity of Liriel, the cunning of Mog, and the unique bloosthirst of Valdis he hoped that there was no hole too deep for Selene to have squirreled herself away in. He would be taking the only other direction, towards the sea to inspect the border of Agua Azul and pay the fierce alpha female a visit to ensure she had no hand in his slave's escape.

Haemon let his grin remain for a moment longer, staring at those golden eyes. But something else caught his attention, he could sense another approaching but something wasn't right and a small frown crossed his forehead. His new travelling companion, the alpha addressed as Liriel, spoke to him in a soft whispering voice and passed by him, her tail trailing down the side of his body, his head turned to follow her for a moment before he snapped his attentions back and cast his eyes about to focus them upon another approaching wolf.

The female which had approach was torn and bleeding yet the flesh told a tale, they were not new wounds. He focused on her and took note; her blood was healthy and the platelets were forming scabs though the flesh itself wasn't forming thus power to help her was out of his jurisdiction. He was amazed however had her bodies power to keep replacing such a blood loss, he wondered how long her bone marrow could keep producing it at such a pace. This female was very interesting to him indeed and more so when she began addressing the alpha.

His eyes flickered to the alpha himself. This wolf was an intriguing creature also. Though he radiated power and was much in need of respect he also treated his pack members with love and their own form of respect, he was not a tyrant as an alpha of a pack such as this could have been labelled. He was fair and just. Perhaps once Haemon had returned from the hunt he would try and befriend the alpha, he had already named him as a brother and he wondered if he would allow him walk beside him.

His eyes lingered upon the alpha for a moment longer, flicking from him to the bloody female and back before finally turning back to Liriel. Gathering himself he turned to follow her lead.

Some of her wounds could have been new, but they were probably hidden among the old bleeding scrapes and gashes. The red eye turned towards the black and red male, something was different about him, but that didn't matter to her. It just remained to state the fact he was another new face in the Reign and one more wolf she wouldn't be able to chew the flesh from the body and marrow out of the bones of.

"New players," the displeasure in her tone was just stating the fact of her dweedling prey potentials of decent wolves to fight to the death and, well if she won, devour; or, if she lost, just no longer be a threat to others.

"Yea, present." Her pupil rolled back to look at the 'king', her mood not improving, but if it ever did it would be out of character, at his acknowledgment of her words ringing true. Her partially tattered lip rolled up in her mental distaste, "Take all the fun out of insulting one, why don't cha." She muttered. What good was it to insult if they welcomed it.

At the offer of actually being permitted the kill on the slave, her maw transformed quickly into a sadistic smirk, "The moon on her pelt should be enough, and maybe, if I find her quickly, I'll bring some of her bones back to you, just for proof that she was found, but wouldn't be a problem any longer. Does that work for you, oh magnificent Soft-Skull?"

Chernabog chuckled at Valdis there was no kindness, no seduction in her, yet she was his favorite certainly. There was no point in giving her the title of lady when she was so clearly and perfectly a warrior and spy for the pack. It was amazing what she managed being as torn up as she looked, then again perhaps others foolishly saw it as her weakness.

"That will do just fine my bloodthirsty Valdis..." He nodded for her to be on her way, with so many of his finest out and searching surely one would find Selene.

Confidant he decided to head off himself, towards the sea curious to see what had befallen his lord. Could the vicious alpha female have turned against his lord or was there something else keeping him?
