Dancer waited a bit before pestering Savith again from his work. "Savith, are we to be working on homes for ourselves for the white sleep or are we all going to be crowding Llune in her home during that time?" She wasn't sure what to expect or what to do in prep for this weather. Dancer was sure she wouldn't like the cold from what she has seen in sends and such either but if the others knew it was coming then it surely must be.

Savith paused in his work, considering. Moments passed before he resumed working, voice carrying over the slight distance between them. "We should settle in for the winter."

A sigh left the Cat elf and she shook her head as if that wasn't what she wanted to hear. "Yes I understand that we need to be ready for this new weather but how? Should we face it alone in our own homes dens or whatever or together? I have never known such weather nor has Peyote and I fear we will be most vunerable during that time. I need to make as much ready as I can." Here she was serious. It wasn't often but it did happen from time to time. She understood the white sleep could very well put her to sleep as well.

Savith closes the handle of his weapon finally, lifting it to test the open and close motion of it while replying, "Together is preferrable, given everything that's happened, but crowding Llune's nest is not an option." He frowns lightly, murmuring, "Perhaps the Shaper can help us..."

"What about my cave? It's big and if it had furs and light and perhaps another room it would be big enough. It would be less work on the shaper. She seems to be called on for so much at times. Plates homes beds trinkets shelves weapons and the like. I just don't want any of us feeling worn out. The shaper keeps making arrow heads spear heads and daggers for everyone. I will have to check on her and be sure she is taking care of her needs as well." She looks at Savith a good long moment as he works. "How is your ankle feeling as of late? I know serious injuries can cause pain even after they have healed." Here she tried to pay close attention to Saviths face and his foot to look for hints of him saying it's fine but it isn't.

Savith smirked lightly at Dancer's rambles that turned into her concern for his injury. "It aches now and again, but is getting better," he replied, "And you have a point there, about the shaping. Your cave is close to Llune's, yes?"

Dewpaw heard voices and easily caught the sent of two of her favorite playmates. At her side was the grey-brown wolf that had come back home not long ago. She was happy to have teh wolf back at her side, as things felt right again. She sent for Morningtail to be quiet and hang back, but the young wolf didn't like the idea. He had been apart from his elf-bond for too long already. And he didn't plan on leaving again. Wolves could be as stubborn as elf cubs. Dew knew that from experience. Morningtail wouldn't leave again without a very good excuse. So Dew gave up on the idea, she wasn't going to win the arguement anyway, not now at least. She snuck up closer to the pool, spotting Savith with his back to her and Dancer across the pool. They were talking about the white sleep and preparing for it and sleeping in caves again. She hated sleeping in caves. They felt wrong, just like not having her wolf-bond with her felt wrong or sleeping at night felt wrong. But that could be dealt with later. For now, she saw a chance at mischief, something no self-respecting wolfrider cub could pass up. With the usual cub-ish grin, Dew jumped out from her hiding spot, howling and yipping as loud as she could, hoping to startle at least one of the elfves.

"Uuummm no. Dancer says with a light chuckle. Her cave is near the woods. At the edge of the forest. Mine is near the beach to be closer to the water." She giggles a bit. "We are in sending range I'm sure though if that helps any. And how would we divide the group if we did that It was easier in my home land where it was warm most of the time and the worst we had were rain, mud slides and storms like the one we fared and......" It was here that Dew made her apperance and made Dancer jump a bit but Fire Bright stood in the water where he was laying and growled. Golden cat eyes quickly finding the wolf and turning in its direction. When Dancer collected her heart she noticed the cat and stood up. Moving between the wolf and the tiger she looked sternly at him and said in a calm firm voice, "Relax, it is only the cub and her wolf. You were lazing in the water and they caught you off your guard." Here she chuckled and hugged him. "Serves you right you silly beast." Pushing at him he removed himself from the water and shook as he went to find a spot close to Dancer to lay down

Savith nods as Dancer starts to speak, listening to her and thinking. His eyes, however, were on his talonwhip, that brightmetal bird claw of a hunting weapon that is the hallmark of a Chosen. Just as Dewpaw jumps out and howls, the claws snap open wickedly with a loud -shclick-.
He half turns, eyes narrowed slightly, only for the expression to fade as a faint almost grin comes to the fore. "Clear skies, Dewpaw."

Dewpaw paused for a moment at Savith's narrow-eyed look, taking a step back and titled her head to the side. "Good hunt to you Savith!" The tension from his 'glare' gone, Dew plopped down on the rock next to Savith. She sent to Morningtail to play nice with the kitty then turned her attention to the other elves. "Are you two already planning for the white sleep? I don't want to sleep in a cave again. They're hard and no fun," a pout came to Dew's lips as she spoke. But then the brightmetal in Savith's hands caught her attention. One thought flashed through her mind: SHINEY! Absent-mindedly, she reached for the brightmetal, not even knowing what it was.
Morningtail sat down on the ground behind Dew, but did nothing. His ears went back for a second, but no growl came out. He knew fighting the large cat wouldn't be too smart. After Dew's send, he padded over to the pool and lapped up some water, eyes never leaving the kitty.

Off in the distance, but still approaching, those with sharp ears can hear the voice of Llune happily singing some little nonsense song about butterflies and pretty leaves and... Well, it seems Llune is just making it up as she walks along the little path to the pool.
In a few moments she will arrive, a stone pitcher in hand that is much lighter than it looks (thanks to Autumn's skill). Her voice is light and carefree and even though the song is nonsense sounds and mentions of pretty pebbles along the path, it can't help but be uplifting to just about anyone who hears it.

"Yes," replied Savith. "We are. It's something that has to get done so we'll survive to see New Green." Her comment about caves drew a faintly amused smirk from the glider as he said, "Well, you're welcome to sleep in a tree, but it's unknown yet if this location has snowfall. If it does, a tree might get rather cold, rather fast."
Out of the corner of his eye, Savith spotted Dewpaw starting to reach for his weapon, and with the grace of a parent skilled at keeping sharp dangerous objects out of baby's hands, he pulls his arm away to the other side of himself and up, keeping the sharp talon-ends of his hunting weapon out of Dew's reach. As he does so, his thumb moves over the catch, and he snaps the talons closed.

Dew's eyes never left the shiny brigthmetal in Savith's hands as her moved it away. "You can make burrows in trees," she said, her words holding a distracted air. She reached higher for the brightmetal and even "ooh"ed and "aww"ed when it snapped close. "Aww, come on. I wanna see it! I promise I won't hurt anyone! Please, Savvy!" Dew pleaded with the Glider, really wanting to touch the brightmetal.

"No," was Dewpaw's reply from Savith, body twisting at the waist to bring his other hand over to coil the rope. Of course, that meant bringing the talonwhip closer to Dew, but he was hoping he could hid it with his body. The last time a child was this insistent was some time ago, and the child was, while only a little smaller than Dewpaw, far less 'grown up'.
"This is not a toy," he added, with a parental seriousness that carried with it a soft and rounded edge.

Dewpaw crossed her arms and pouted, "But I know its not a toy! I have a dagger of my own. And I know how to use it!" Dew looked up hopefully at Savith hoping her arguement would get her somewhere. She did in fact carry two knives with her, one her own and the other her brother's. It and the scarf was all she had left from him. Maybe that was why Savith didn't want to relinguish the brightmetal, it was something special to him. But Dew ignored teh idea, the desire to touch the shiny object far stronger than the fleeting thought of it being special. "I'll let you see my daggers! A fair trade. How about it?" The pout left her as she put on her "haggling" face.
