Banshou shifted uneasily at the tail thumping of the larger kyn, glancing back into the cave a moment. "My sis is around here somewhere. I think she went off hunting, though I'm sure she didn't miss your landing." He eyed the larger kyn once more, taking a lazy leap out of the water to hover above Lorne's lowered head a moment before landing on the dry mossy ground. Or formerly dry ground. Lorne had soaked it with his tail thumping and squirrel-altering.

"Ah, of course. It'll be nice to see Asayake again." Maybe he wasn't the brightest kyn, but his memory served him well, at least. He looked about slowly, raising his head a bit so that he could see farther.

When Lorne's head had cleared the distance that a normal kyn could see, the multi-colored form of Asayake could be seen fluttering towards the den through a few layers of clouds. She was still a few minutes away.
Banshou looked at the other kyn curiously, his own tail still flicking from side to side. Certainly this huge brute couldn't have a crush on his sister? He rolled his eyes. If the big guy did, Asayake was moving out. Yesterday.

Hadus lay back down and waited, yawning once. "So, where is everyone? I met little Nishi and the others yesterday... I actually... well, I brought this deer to apologize." He chuckled softly. "I mistook them for deer while hunting, and I almost tossed poor Nishi into the woods with my wings." He cocked his head slightly. He could hear Asayake coming. How surprised she would be when she saw how much he had grown! If the others hadn't said anything. At least, she wouldn't know exactly how big.

Banshou watched as the other seated himself, mulling over a few things silently. Despite his growth spurt, Lorne still acted much like a young kyn. "Nishi and most of the clan has gone off visiting the friends that she and Kaaruni made the other day. Perhaps it is the same group you ran into? She did mention a rather large kyn that stopped in on them." A small chuckle rose from Banshou.
"It's odd, since she's so small, we thought she was exaggerating." There was no mention of Kaaruni's opinion on the meeting. Afterall, Kaaruni was the newest addition to their family, and the only lunar kyn. As stuck-up as Banshou was usually....
The wind stirred the leaves in trees, and they gently bent aside as air was moved around from an incoming kyn. A few moments later and Asayake was visible, landing gently in the moss opposite the bank of the den entrance. She looked hesitantly at the European, then recognition crossed her face.
"L-Lorne, is that you!?"

Lorne shook himself and grinned. "In the scales. Told you I'd be big." He wagged his tail slowly (and carefully). "It's great to see you, Asayake. How're things?"

With Asayake there to look after the huge kyn, Banshou moved to head back into the den via the waterway entrance. He cast a glance over his sun-colored hide as the water rose up to his elbows.
"My goodness Lorne, you did get big!" She walked over, claws sinking into the soft moss with each step. She looked the other kyn over, smiling slightly. "I take it you've been eating well." She chuckled good-naturedly, still smiling up at the other kyn in an almost motherly manner.

Lorne chuckled and sat back, sweeping his enormous tail through the water behind him slowly. "Well... right now's the first time in a long while when I haven't been hungry. I kid you not. I brought some deer, if you want it." He raised his talon, the buck dangling limply between his claws.

Banshou disappeared into the cave, safely out of the way of the rush of water that Lorne had created.
She smiled at him sweetly. "I just finished hunting myself, Lorne, but that's very sweet of you." She smiled up at the large male, her own feathered tail swishing behind her.

He dropped the poor creature, then yawned and leaned down. "So, y'know... I think I've met most of your flight by now... but not your rider. Strange, eh?" He cocked his head thoughtfully. "Any idea when the others will be back?"

She smiled up at him, chuckling lightly. "It's really hard to tell. They left earlier this morning, and I would assume that they'd be home before dinner time. Shinju usually makes sure that Paige is home before dark. I can't say the same for the rest of the clan though, they may stay later." She seems to think this over for a few moments. "Speaking of, I've never met yours either."

Lorne nodded. "I think they like to keep themselves to themselves. It might just be because Hadus is so busy teaching his children to hunt and fly and stuff. They're still kinda shaky in the air." He shrugged his massive shoulders and lowered his head to level with hers. He turned away and yawned, then lay down on his side, stretching one wing and his back legs.

"Ahhh," Asayake understood that taking care of young ones took effort. Her father had been very attentive with her and her brother while they grew up, and had taught them almost everything to the point of boring the pair at times.
She chuckled as the other layed down, shaking her head slightly. "Are you tired?"

"A bit. It's tough to support this much weight for really long periods, so I lie down when I can." He rolled a bit and arched his back, producing a cracking noise rather like a tree being felled.

The female flinched at the sound, looking a little sympathetic towards the younger kyn. "I suppose it would be. I mean, you're just like any other kyn." She smiled at him sweetly, whiskers twisting and turning through the air seemingly of their own mind and agenda.
"You must have a really large room at your den. I bet the others are jealous."
