With the lupine equivalent of laughter Guardian bounded nimbly away as the dojo was cloven in twain... and collapsed in on itself. This was getting more and more fun. Tail wagging Guardian waited for Shar's next move, and gathered extra power for any shockwaves he might need to do.

There was only one really good thing Obelisk was good forth, and it was really really good at it. That action being pwning face, which, as mentioned, it does spectacularly well. Shar kept a fair distance away from GK, keeping to the air, which isn't to say he rose high enough to be out of range with Obelisk. The great sword came for GK with one massive swipe, a trail of death in its wake, pure destructive force left behind by the passive of such a terrible weapon.

And as the blade came down, Guardian yet again seemed to blur and shot around the blade as it slammed into the ground, throwing up a massive cloud of dust, and obscuring the incorporeal wolf from sight... If he could laugh in this state... he would, but seeing as laughing audibly would require being able to move air mollecules... and he was incorporeal... he couldnt. instead he just closed the gap with Shar, and started circling randomly around him like some demented black tornado. ever so often out of the blurry mass a seemingly smiling wolfs head would "form" and look at shar... Of course, it was all just spiffy tricks... since in this form shar couldnt touch him, and he coulnt touch shar....
Until in a suprise move he re-solidified behind shar... and instantly let loose all the pent up shockwave energy he had stored up... seeming to go off like an even bigger "bomb" than earlier... roughly double the blast effect.

Shar was stunned, and fairly literally at that. This oppoent had a speed much greater than most he fought, and could avoid even the most accurate swing of Obelisk without much effort. Obelisk was not a proper weapon for this fight, far from it. He hadn't expected such an attack, and it sent him reeling. Obelisk was thrust into the ground by Shar being blown away, kicking up huge chuncks of rock and dirt, aiding in stopping Shar, slightly. The armor had taken the brunt of the force, but Shar certainly didn't like that one bit. Standing upon the Obelisk set in stone he dislodged the staff, causing the Obelisk to fall dead, little more than a pillar of soulstuff. Shar pulled back on the staff once more and let fly another arrow, this one left behind a distinct and 'solid' trail. It was not aimed at GK, but below him.

And as the wolf fell.... the arrow pierced somewhat into his ungodly hard flesh... It hurt... and hurt alot... but even still... by the time he landed on all fours amidst a cloud of dust and debris on the ground the arrow was nearly all the way expelled and the wound was rapidly healing... He may not have an "obelisk" class weapon, or many mystical abilities... but what he lacked in those, he more than made up for in sheer toughness and pure, raw... strength. Shaking the dust from his fur Guardian started padding towards Shar, yet again gathering in energy for another shockwave from the seemingly inexhasuatbe "gauntlets". This was the most fun romp he'd had in a long while... he only hoped his "playmate" had as much endurance as he.

The arrow did not simply fall aside, it moved and flowed and pressed forward like a snake. It darted in and out, swerving, twisting, contorting, wrapping. The main goal of the ever legthening snake was, as could be guessed, to trip up the great beast, and keep him that way. Shar pulled back and launched another, if anything, Shar could keep the great beast occupied, even if he should dematerialize again. The 'snakes' remained linked to the staff, but as the previous arrows, could be loosed at any moment, with or without an explosive result. Also, should Shar need to move from where he was rather quickly, well, the snakes could tug on him as well.

As the second arrow starts to snake its way around him, Guardian growls low in his throat, and starts moving, to make the twin snakes job harder.... Thinking fast, he gets an idea, and projects a form-fitting field around his head, teeth/mouth, and neck... As he's concentrating the snakes of course, wrap more around him... until he reaches down to seemingly tug at the two lines of "soul-stuff" connected to the staff.... trying to pull them back a little... as if trying to gain slack. Then bites down as the fields around his teeth form into mono-edges... and cut cleanly through. Of course the instant the two lines sever... he rolls sideways, and discorporates, shifting into a dark blurry "cloud" that rolls along the ground towards shar's position. Doing so however broke his concentration, and used up the excess energy he'd been building up for his next shockwave.

Not being severed by Shar's will, the snakes did not explode with any more than a small release of energy created by the sever itself. The break was healed and the two began bouncing around, pinballing off invisible planes that only seemed to exist to the 'snakes' themsleves. They were creating a rather muddled up path across the floor, which would make it certainly difficult for anyone to walk across, a maze of death and confusion. They sped around at seemingly the speed of light, or fast enough to seem that way, even leaping up with a high arc to create somewhat of a shield, a ring around Shar at his level to keep GK at least some distance away, should he decide to reform in the air again.

Slowly forming back into physical shape on the ground, Guardian growled, his luminous rusty-red eyes closed, and his hackles raised. He seemed to be concentrating, hard.... whatever he was doing, he was ignoring the writhing mass of soul-stuff. on the ground, and, for the moment, seemingly ignoring Shar.

The 'snakes' contunied to dart around the great lupine form, one of them breaking off and rising very high, and suddenly they both stopped. Shar pulled the staff back, still linked to the arrows of soulstuff that had littered the battlefield, and subsequently jammed it down into Obelisk, splitting the whole down the center as the two halves slowly began to glow vastly contrasting colors. The right hand was outlined in a crimson aura, while the left was infused with a faint azure. The former was dislodged from the ground and brought forth in a devastating swing from over Shar's right shoulder down in a diagonal pattern, a wake of destructive energies pulsing outward, coursing into the strands of soulstuff scattered about. The right hand of Obelisk Unlocked seared through the strands of soulstuff, absorbing a bit before the maze reconnected itself. One snake was attached to the right, and the other the left, apparently tied to the massive hilt.

As Half of Obelisk came hurtling down towards him, Guardian raised his muzzle and let out an unearthly howl... and released the pent up energy...
Instead of being a massive shockwave blast like before... This one, was nearly invisible. Its effects however, definitely wouldnt be. A veritable storm, of almost unbelievably thin, high velocity ring-style shockwaves shot out, expanding as they went. Collectively they formed a sphere shape... the half-mollecule-wide waves sliding fairly effortlessly through nearby solid matter, like white hot knives through butter... followed by a somewhat weaker (by comparison) concussive shockwave, that literally shoved the cut materials away... All this happened as Obelisk came down... and it would be caught in the effects as well as the writhing masses of soulstuff and maybe on the very extreme edge... Shar, and the other half of obelisk, but by the time it reached that range it would have lost much cohesion, and not be anywhere near as deadly.

The Right was beaten and battered, but unhindered, straining against the force and destruction.
Until it finally succumbed.
Cracks of blazing white light extended up the blade as Shar released the staff from the blade, the 'snake' attached to it bearing him and The Left out of harm's way with a forceful jerk upwards to the height of where the snake had weaved earlier. The broken and battered form of The Right split and for a moment all was calm. As they say, however, it was was merely the calm before the storm. Released from the staff Obelisk was free to either become inert or, well, have some fun in its death throes. Crimson light pulsed outward as The Right exploded in a flash of flame and a shockwave fitting of such an awesome force meeting its end. Wisps of white light were scattered everywhere, but not nearly as many as had formed the massive weapon. There were, at most, enough to build a man, which is what they seemed to be doing.

As the shockwaves tore through the right half, Guadian lowered his muzzle... and saw shar backing off... As the right half of Obelisk started its death-throes Guardian merely discorporated followed Shar on the ground. Clearly visible in the somewhat amorphous black shape of his ethereal form, Guardian's face seemed to smile up at Shar from amidst the chaos... He was having fun, and quite a bit of it. For now, he ignored the man-shape forming out of the energy, and floated slowly up into the air to follow shar, still with that grinning face.

As the maze was created, so it was undone, taking Shar along for the ride. Both hands gripped the hilt of Obelisk as the stream of soulstuff that was attached to it pulled the blade along, and in turn Shar. Shar had lost the left wing upon his back, but the speeds at which he passed through the air betrayed a sense of flight, even though it wasn't being dragged, literally. One rather pleasant result of him being dragged, well, not for anything in the area, but for Shar it certainly was. A cyclone of destruction began to whip up in the wake of Obelisk, only the half of it leaving a pulsing whirlwind of death, a true Bladestorm.
The white wisps had fully formed the other man, whom was as yet featureless, but seemed to begin splitting in two, the goal being to create an exact duplicate.
