Sakome We are currently working on three pieces for concert mpa:
British Eighth Solas Ane A Festival Prelude we did solas ane last year i think it's rly pretty smile I like when the song really kicks in and i like the flute section in the beginning smile I'm doing: Hands Across The Sea (i ******** hate that song lol never gotten that high in my life lol) Hebrides Suite (vvvveeeerrrryyyyy easy) and Symphonic Prelude: Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair (also very pretty)

Our pieces are funn. We're playing Ode to Joy, A star Wars Medley [which I am too lazy to look up the real name for], Medley for Young Americans [Yankee Doodle and Grande Old Flag - it's actually onlt to practice our cut-time skills], and Prometheus's March [I think thats what it's called]. My mom always says we could use some more modern music, though. I dont think so. o 3o

Cosmic winds and dancing with the light are composed by two of our university faculty and they are awesome pieces.

In concert band, so far, were playing *Austin powers *Highlights from Star Wars Saga (Empire march, Princess leia's theam, Cantina band, Han Solo and the Princess [sax solo, YAY!] and of corse STARWARS) *Japanese folk trillogy (moon song, festival of the dolls, please come spring)
Then in jazz, we are playing *Uncle Milo's Side show *Blues at frog bottom
Then in my free time *Phantom of the Opera *Music of the Night *Gus:The theater cat *007 theme

We played British Eighth in my band last year.
Right now we're working on Chester, Summer Dances...and two others that I can't remember the name of right now. We've mostly been working on ensembles for the last couple days.

For symphonic band we are playing Les Miserables and Dances With Wolfs for the spring concert. And for jazz we are working on Salt Peanuts, Cantalope Island, and I think It Had To Be You.
