Our band is going to do Aerosmith!
I'm super excited for this show. Although I have throughly enjoyed all of our past shows as well even though I really didn't know any of the groups till we started working on the shows.
Ohoh! And as for candy being a goo bribing tool, go for it! My section leader brides us with brownies. If we play with the right amount of spacing ("Pride of Arizona style") then she will bake us brownies and bring them to our sectional. It's great because her brownies are really good! n__n

There's a rumor going around that our show this year's going to be New World Symphony.
But I won't know for sure until June.
Edit- In study hall today, Mr. Dugger said that he's pretty sure that New World Symphony will be our show this year.
So I suppose that confirms it.

Were gonna either do an opera theme with some vocals or a flowing water theme. All the bands these days are using movies and plays and such while our director is against it all. He likes to be different. Our local rival school did 300 last year and the guard played the spartans. Neat stuff.

well i'm a senior so i wont be in my high school marching show in 09 but there do this latin show and i really can't wait to see it.
and as for my colleges marching show they change the mraching every week (i'm not sure if they change the music every week ) but anyway i don;t know that it's going to be yet! so i cant wait to find out! and i really hope i make there color guard too because it constier really hard to make it but if i don't i'm playing pic!

my BD has already decided (which from what i hear is early) he had it before we wnet to our band trip. he hasn't old us yet but some people already know 4laugh sadly not me . . . crying but i guess he has to tell us soon

a WWII theme. It starts with a Jazz part from back in the day's day. then we get to more heroic stuff. sounds pretty awesome, i think i'm going to enjoy my 1st year.

We're doing an African theme. Our songs are: African Ceremony, African Song, and African... something. Sorry, I forgot.
It's my first year next year, and I got first part on one of the songs!!! I'm so excited because even though I usually get first, I thought I wasn't going to get any.
ANYWAYS. We're also going to Disney World next December through January, but we'll be in the Citrus Bowl (???) Parade at Universal Studios, but we visit Disney? Very confusing.

I just got back from my bands final concert for the year and our BD revealed the new show title "Off the tracks" then she told us the songs... its a show about trains i only caught one of the songs we're playing its a remix of crazy train we will play it last... and i didn't catch the other songs but I'm so excited, and so is every one else in the band...

We're doing western music. Our second song will be a percussion feature so the winds don't have to learn as much music which makes it a little easier on us because last year we did Grease and we had 2 learn 4 songs all together.
