Givenna nuzzled her mother and took a couple steps, turning to look at her parents. "You think we can make it all the way tonight?" She had a dreamy look in her eyes, her dreams were coming true, to be with her mother again and see her home. Her heart was filling with love again, she could feel the warmth reaching to her toes. Flexing her claws in the dirt, she looked down, hiding her smile.
He watched her carefully as she came before him, and lifting her head. He wished to be beside her again, through thick and thin, like they used to be... but maybe this bridge didn't get burned down all the way... maybe there was a possibility to rebuild the damage. He smiled to his daughter. "We will get there soon enough, love." His voice was rich, and full. No longer weak and hard to hear. His own strength was returning to him, some new source of power.

She laughed, that sultry alluring sound it had always been was still there as if she were still young. "Dont worry dear..We will get there in due time. Im not as young as you." She teased a bit as she padded next to her daughter, bumping her hip into hers for a moment.
She tossed a glance at Mekare from over her shoulder, and jerked her head a bit, silently asking him to walk with her. "Go ahead of us if you'd like sweet heart..So eager to return, makes my heart swell." She smiled once more, she too was starting to feel the kiss of happiness once again.

Givenna grinned and licked Nox quickly before running a couple steps ahead and stopped to watch them for a moment then hurried forward a little further. She wouldn't get to far, always wanting to stay close to her mother and yes, her father. She looked at things that were close by, sometimes running a little ways away to see something that had caught her eye. She was truely free of stress and pain now... she was happy.
Mekare smiled and walked up next to her, his rightful place... at least that was how he felt. He was quite content to stay silent and just enjoy her presence with Givenna running around nearby but he felt he needed to say something, to ease minds... But he was lost. Completely lost. He had never imagined to be here again. "Nox... I-I've missed you." He said softly, his gaze to the ground as they slowly walked. He raised his head high enough to look at her, not wanting to be the coward that had messed so much up, but instead be the confident Mekare he had become.

Laughing a bit as her daughter ran ahead, and back to them, only to run ahead again. She shook her head a bit, "Its so grand to see her in such spirits.." Nox looked up at Mekare, he'd always been so much bigger than she was, but now in this state, he was a giant.
She stared at him for a long moment after he spoke, she then glanced shyly away. "I've missed you as well.." She whispered back, she hadnt wanted to. Truthfully she had wanted to hate him, but in the end that just wasnt in her to be like that, she couldnt be that poisonous to anyone, but Rellick it seemed. He, she hoped fell off a cliff with his current tramp. In truth, she still held feelings for Mekare, so what had it mattered? She continued to walk with him, her gaze seeking glances at him.

Her laughing, her smiling, her overall joy was making him swell with pride. It had been so long since he had heard her laugh and he had to admit that, that alone was what he missed the most. Now he didn't know what to say... somepart of him expected her to spit venom, while the other wanted to pull her close and nuzzle her all day... He was torn, but slowly mending.
"You've been away for a while... havn't you?" He asked quietly, worried about her compsure. She had been so vibrant and full of energy; now she was tired and almost dull looking. He looked at her then at her shoulders, noticing that her markings were not at bright as before.
Givenna had paused for a moment, assessing her parents, a smirk came to the corner of her mouth. Keeping her thoughts to herself she turned her head before either of her parents caught her gaze.

She couldnt help but smirk at bit at their daughter, pawing at her each time she ran back to them.
"I havent been back, since the night I left." She glanced at her self a bit, "Does it really show that badly?" she asked quietly, she just hadnt really felt a reason to look forward tomorrow, but she glanced to Mekare, maybe there was one still. Looking at her daughter, it only confirmed it, there was a reason for tomorrow.

"It's not that bad..." He cleared his throat and looked forward. "I... just can't help but notice..." It wasn't exactly what he wanted to say... he really had only noticed because he couldn't stop thinking about her, and to have her around again she was different then what he remembered. "I'm sure the second we are close to home... you'll feel much better." Mekare added with a soft tone. He flicked his tail about him, letting it brush across the back of his legs, he was surprised he was so calm right now.
This time back Givenna stayed walking with them for a while. She didn't say anything, she only smiled as she watched them. She never thought they would ever talk to each other again. It was definately a step forward. Nosing her mother's shoulder she dashed off again.

She glanced to herself, and dropped her head a little bit. "Yeah, it is..." She hadnt even noticed her poor condition and yet, she was expecting him to see her as her once beautiful self? She snorted a bit at her own thoughts, she was really pathetic.
As her shoulder was nosed, she laughed as their daughter raced off again. "Shes such a goof, its so good to see her like this." She smiled softly her eyes watching the slowly disappearing figure.
"Maybe I'll go out for a hunt when we get there.." She brushed her tail against his back leg softly, she glanced ahead with a soft smirk as if nothing happened.

He shook his head at her examination of herself. "You're fine... I doubt anyone else would have noticed. I.. guess I was... just a little... over cautious. I don't know..." he sighed and shook his mane out, only to have a shiver travel up his back. Casting a quick glance to Nox, his eyes a little wider than normal and a smirk pulling at the corner of his mouth.
Givenna stopped and grinned. "The trees! We're at the trees! Home has to be close!" She called out as she crouched down, her rump wiggling in the air. "Come'on you two! Hooooome!" She giggled and jumped, dashing into the trees.
"It's definately good... I like seeing her like that..." He nodded, while in his mind he thought, "And us like this..."

They had made it to the Runes, Nox laid atop one, her own matching markings to the stones shone brightly against the dark back drop of the night, her tail swayed to and fro against the stone, as she looked out over the land.
The soft chatter of night life danced around them, the songs of the day had been hushed into sleep. She took in a deep breath, she was so happy to be at home.
A hunt was needed, she lifted her head a bit, crossing her front legs as she long body laid against the stone, she looked out over the land, not to far in the distance a small herd of prey beast grazed, one of them could easily feed the trio she thought with a flick of her ear.
Their scents wouldnt be detected while the breeze blew against them, away from the herd.

Givenna rushed up to her mother, having been searching around the runes for a while. "Momma... you should stay here. I need to stretch my legs anyway. I'll get dinner." She said softly, pleased to see her mother already looking better. Nuzzling her mother, she smiled, true happiness showing in her eyes as she jumped from the stones her mother was laying on.
Mekare had also been looking around, remembering, but he waited for Givenna to leave before quietly making his way up beside Nox. "May I join you?" He asked as he stood behind her, admiring the glowing of her markings. Everything was so peaceful now... As he waited for a reply he moved next to her and laid down, looking out towards the heard that Givenna was currently stalking. A small smile graced his lips as he turned his gaze to Nox.

With a laugh, she watched her daughter jump away and disappear into the darkness, she shook her head a bit. Glancing up at the sound of Mekare's voice she nodded, "Of course.." She glanced after their daughter and then back to him.
"She apparently needs to stretch her legs.." She shook her head with a faint laugh once more. "She basically ran here, hasnt really sat still since we've gotten here and she needs to stretch her legs? Makes me feel old.." She shook her head with a smile. She glance over to him, she liked this. Being here once again, she would later while everyone slept make amends to the runes for being gone for so long, it'd been in her blood to always protect them, to stay with them. But being here again, with her daughter and Mekare made her happy once more.

Mekare chuckled as he settled next to Nox, casually laid his tail across her's. He looked out around them, smiling softly. "It's so wonderful to be back." He said in a low, relaxed tone. His heart was pounding as if he was waiting for something exciting to happen, or maybe it was the power of the runes around them... or maybe it was... Shaking the idea from his head he looked to Nox, opening his mouth to say something, only to see Givenna rushing up to where they were laying. Sighing he turned away and pulled his tail off hers, looking out to the surroundings.
Givenna plopped a good-sized beast below them, having missed Mekare's movements. She looked up excitedly, "Momma! Look! Pappa! Come eat!" She wiggled her rump in the air and jumped around a bit. She hadn't calmed down today, was this really such a great day?
