A soft, dreamy smile fell about Galleai's face as the beat went on. It was such a dark, primal sound. She wasn't really a dancer, but she found herself getting to her feet and moving anyways, the drumbeat was so contagious.

Rook smiled as Galleai danced, his friend didn't quite have the internal rhythem Kaimi had displayed but her dancing was neat to watch anyways. Honestly Rook enjoyed any time when people danced becuase everyone had their own sort of way of moving that while not always in time with the music was predicable and the young boy was starting to understand that he really did like when things were predictable.

After a few minutes she flopped back onto the blanket with Rook, a little breathless. "That was fun!" Galleai said, grinning at the boy. Her gaze passed out over the ocean and her brow furrowed. There was just the slightest brightness to the sky, as if the heavy blue mantle were being lifted up slowly.

Rook grinned as the sky began to lighten and the the shore birds in the nearby trees began to chirp and chirrup and trill. " Dawn is coming" he said softly." Yt's really pretty out here, my mother showed it to us once and you can hear the birds, they tell you when it's close." Having only ever seen Galleai at night Rook wanted to share some aspect of day with the girl, Although it would cost him and he would probably nap half the day away later now.

Yawning a little, Gal scooted closer to Rook and leaned her head on his shoulder. She'd never stayed up this late before, but it was absolutely worth it as the sun broke over the horizon. "Ohh..." She inhaled and smiled. "Rook, it's beautiful."

Rooks eyes flicked between the azure, pink and indigo sky and Galleai's eyes as she watched the sunrise. Admittedly Rook was usually awake well after the sun rose but he'd seen it a few times and it really was amazing, he wondered where all the colours came from and where they went too as the sun got higher and higher in the sky. The boy smiled as he tried not to yawn " I'm glad you like it it's an extra present" he said. Not a real tangible thing to be sure but something he thought she'd like anyways.

Her eyes fluttering a bit as she struggled to keep them open, Galleai snuggled a little closer. Being here, away from the coven and with Rook whose presence comforted her somehow was nice. "It's wonderful." She murmurred as her eyes drifted closed.

Rook gently poked at Galleai " Um You cant fall asleep here I don't know where you live or how to get you home" The child just didn't have that kind of strength and while his mother was only a phone call away he thought that might be a bit weird and annoying for her since she was working night shift at the store. He also couldn't take gall home becuase then her family would worry.

Blinking, Gal smiled and stretched. "I'm sorry. I've never been up this late before." She stared out over the ocean and at the brightness of the morning sky. "It's amazing, though. I really should try to stay awake during the day more often. Theres so much more color."

Rook smiled " You should only stay up during the day if you want, there's nothing wrong with being a tight time like person and you can only see the stars and stuff at night" really the sky was only this colourful at dawn and dusk. " Mm do you need help getting home?" he asked he could walk with her if she needed, as it was Rook wasn't certain if Galleai could stay awake logn enough to get to wherever she lived

Smiling, Galleai shook her head. "No, I'll be alright. The house is kind of out of the way. And the coven probably wouldn't like it if I brought someone over that they didn't know about beforehand." She stretched again. "But I'll walk with you as far as your house, it's probably on the way." Everything seemed to be on the way to the coven house without actually being anywhere near it.

Rook got to his feet slowly and shook his head as well " It"s fine, we should both go alone so we get home faster." He didn't want to risk Galleai getting into too much trouble for being out really late. although they hadn't really been out all night so much as having met up just a little before dawn.
