Kwaruza wasn't quite sure why Tamu was talking like she was but she just waited. She was sure that she was about to be asked to help but Tamu was doing it in a very round-a-bout way.
"Exactly. So would you like me to help?"
It seemed they hadn't really got all that far because they were back at the same question Kwaruza had originally asked. Well maybe she would get a straight forward answer this time? She didn't mind it was just confusing her as to why Tamu seemed to need to justify herself.

"...yes please..."
Her words were quiet, as if she was still a bit embarrassed to be saying them, but her actions that followed were so out of character for the conversation that had preceded. Tamu made a sudden a movement - she pounce-hugged Kwaruza!

Kwaruza smiled as at last she got a proper reply from Tamu however the pounce was rather unexpected!
She let out a small laugh and nudged her friend. It seemed even the adults and rulers of prides were still playful!

Tamu gave her friend, and now helper, a great big genuine smile and this time didn't feel bashful for her strange conduct. To say she was supposed to be in a position of confidence and leadership, she could be painfully shy sometimes. But then again, her moods changed as often as the sea's and she could be cocky as hell. And twice as fiery.
Suitably cooled off and rested, Tamu stretched as she got up.
"Well, looks like we'll both have busy days from now on," she said softly. "I...really appreciate it Kwa...just everything, not just helping out...you've been like a NORMAL sister for me."
With a loving nudge with her paw, she turned and departed into the sunlight, ready for more pridal business and musings. Only now, it wouldn't feel so heavy.
