Ruri’s Update Time!
Dearie me, I’ve been lazy and haven’t been recording ANY rps that have been going on with my dear little Hunter, so here’s a quick overview of what his life has been like so far:
Hunter graced us with his rabid raccoon presence, strutting self importantly around the place and being ridiculously demanding. One of the worst tempered Hytes around, he quickly made some well... not enemies, but he singled a few people out to terrorise and they’re not amused. Like Seth... Hunter really doesn’t like Seth. For no particular reason as well.
Upon growing into a child, Hunter’s personality didn’t change in the slightest and he proceeded to continue to think himself better than everyone else. He developed some sort of friendship with the wolf Haevan, considering the poor guy his property. And Hunter doesn’t like to share his stuff, so beware.
Along the way he’s abused Femi’s good nature, given Kisuke a stupid nickname and ignored pretty much everyone else because they’re not worthy of his time. Oh, and not to forget his relationship with Noe. He’s still plotting revenge, and he’ll get that eventually by making her teach him the art of archery and hunting.
Any very plot relevant rps will be recorded, but otherwise you’ll just get silly updates like these. Not that anyone is actually reading. ;D

Hide and Seek
In which Hunter and Haevan play a game and then cuddle! <3 Ruriska -floats around the thread- <3 Hunter: -comes in from outside soaking wet- >.> >: Don’t catch a cold. leon_a_darkangel xD; Is Ruri game for rp?
Haevan; The wolf teen, having been already drifting about as necessary, lifted his head tilting his head. His nose twitched, recognizing a familiar scent. Catching sight of a very wet Hunter the wolf frowned. "Oi...r'ah ye ok?" He got up slowly, closing the game he'd been playing making a move to step closer. Ruriska Heck yeah! XD Hunter: The raccoon glanced up at the wolf, giving the smallest of nods. “I’m fine.” Giving a firm shake of his head, the boy sent droplets of water flying, and then proceeded to fluff out his rather flat tail. “Tsk.” leon_a_darkangel x3 Works for meh <3
Haeavn; He tilted his head, as if making sure concluding by giving a small nod. "If ye say so." He ducked over to the sofa, and tossed him a blanket so he could get warm. He perched himself on the arm of the sofa, a knee to his chest. "Eh?" He inquired to his tsking, chin now propped on his knee tail curled around and ultimately flopped on his foot. Ruriska Hunter: He stopped fussing with his tail long enough to catch the blanket and wrap it around his shoulders. Hunter glanced over at Haevan, seeing the question in the others gaze. “It’s raining.” Was his only explanation. What exactly he had been doing out in the rain was left unsaid. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He hadn't expected an answer, but with having been given one the question left his eyes replaced by a nod of understanding. He enjoyed lingering in the rain as a child.. although it was likely for a different reason then Hunters adventure. Nor would he demand answers out of the younger male. Musing he pushed himself onto his feet, moving for the kitchen. "Hun'ry?" He glanced over his shoulder before ducking out of sight. Ruriska Hunter: Following Haevan towards the kitchen, the raccoon’s tummy gave a little tumble. He’d been doing ‘things’ outside most of the day and was starving. He scrubbed water from his hair as he walked, hoping something good was on the menu. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The last time he'd eaten was breakfast with his dad. He as starving as a result and figured he'd kill two birds with one stone. Ears flicking back he crouched down after opening the fridge riffling around. "Heh..ah ain't much'ah cook." he wrinkled his nose. "Sand'whech soun' good?" He asked, peering up at the other with a small smile on his face. Ruriska Hunter: He hovered behind Haevan as the wolf riffled through the fridge. Right now he wasn’t feeling all that picky. Honestly he would eat almost anything; he just liked to make life difficult for others when they tried to feed him. However, Haevan would be spared that fate. “That’s good.” He stepped back, giving the wolf room. "Is there chicken?" leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He nodded and grabbed both cheese, meat and mayo...not touching the mustard as if it were the plague. He appreciated not being scoffed and snidely told that wasn't what the other wanted, he might have made him a sandwich either way if it had been the case. "Aye, 'ah do believe so." he waved the container and padded over to the counter, peering around for bread. It was honey oat...it would do. Humming aloud he proceeded with making them both food. "Oi..Hunter?" he turned his attention back to him, that strange smile of his on his face. "If ye want, after food do ye wann'ah find somthin' ta do?" he offered turning back to what he was doing. The wolf knew something was on the raccoon's mind, however he provided alternatives as he always did instead of brooding.
xD: sorry for the late reply btw Ruri <3 Ruriska Hunter: Following Haevan over to counter, Hunter watched the sandwich making process with a gaze that didn’t miss a thing. His ear flickered as he name was spoken, and he inclined his head up slightly. His nose wrinkled and then his expression became one of satisfaction. “Ah... yes. We can find something to do.” He turned back towards the counter, hand sneaking out to snatch up a piece of chicken. “We can play a game.” No worries. ;D leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He paused, shredding up chicken to use in the sandwich. "Eh?" He tilted his head curiously and gave a small nod. "Wait..'ah game?" he didn't realize he'd just signed himself up for playing at the Coon's mercy. Eyes widening, he finished both sandwiches and peered down the short distance at him. "Wha kind'ah game?" He looked confused even as he handed out what he'd made, already gnawing at his hungrily. If he minded Hunter was raiding the spare chicken, it didn't show...especially considering he'd done the same thing a time or two already.
brb gunna eat muh din din Ruriska Hunter: The raccoon took the sandwich carefully in both hands and then retreated to the closest chair, perching himself on it. As he munched away, he watched Haevan and let his mind wander to possible games they could play. Most Hytes could immediately tell that Hunter wasn’t much of a ‘game’ person, unless that game involved annoying the crap out of people. But Haevan was always the exception in that regard. Hunter swallowed. “I dunno... what kinda games are there? Hm... Hide and Seek... uh...” Well, maybe he could just make his own up. Have a good dinner. <3 leon_a_darkangel x3 Thanks a lot <3 If I have to vanish for a bit it's cuz I need to take my friend home... I'll only be about an hour.. we may have to continue this in the thread or pm perhaps? Unless your on for awhile.
Haevan; It was true, all things considered it had been the wolf who had annoyed the living hell out of Hunter as a small boy, not vice versa. Joining him at the table, he propped himself on a chair eating one handed as he did so. "Hide 'n seek?" his brows shot up at the idea. "Ah dunno.. mayb'h.." He closed his eyes thinking. "Rock pap'r sisscor ta see who goes eh?" He smiled then musing. " 'n we coul' use the shop 'ah suppose." he grinned. It had been his favorite game as a pup. Ruriska I’m here for another hour and a half. We can either continue by PM or try grab each other in the thread tomorrow. I don’t mind. ^-^ Hunter: Finishing off his meal, Hunter brushed crumbs from his still damp clothes and then sat back with a slight frown. Maybe Hide and Seek wasn’t a good idea after all. It didn’t sound for interesting. You hide and somebody finds you... that was it. Well, he could always announce an end to it if he got bored. “I’ll hide.” He decided. He would give this hiding a go, and then if he wanted, he would live up to his name and track down Haevan. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The teen laughed softly, seeing the others look of annoyance as if the idea was both sickening and amusing all at ounce. "Aye, 'ah figured." He replied. Not bothering to brush crumbs off he noted the others wet clothing and frowned. "Ye need sumthin' dry." he frowned, worried the younger male would get ill. "Beside tha.." He tilted his head thinking. "Anythin' goes. If this get to bornin' 'ah figure we can play 'ah different un." his tail wagged as he bounced back a few steps, playful for certain was this wolf boy. " 'ah wonder..." he gnawed at his lip for a quick idea. "If 'ah find ye, wann'ah add 'ah game'ah chase to eet?" Ruriska Hunter: He glanced down at his wet clothes. They were somewhat uncomfortable but he wasn't too bothered by it. The only problem with getting wet was his tail looked all... limp. "I'm all right..." Hunter slipped off the seat, looking somewhat amused by Haevan's excited bouncing. "We can play chase too. If you find me." The child have the slightest smile. "You have to close your eyes and count to fifty. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He actually thought it was kinda cute seeing the others tail fur so smoothed out, but what did he know. Either way the others coon tail would dry soon enough and return to it's fluff ball esque. Tail still wagging the wolf smiled sheepishly. "Aye...if 'ah find ye." he retorted with a slight incline of his head as if relinquishing that much. "Fift'eh?" The wolf teen pouted, but knowing it fair considering he himself was a hunter couldn't argue that much. He was good at tracking, his father knew many wolves, including some werewolves. He'd learned from some of the best, although he still had a lot to learn. Covering his eyes with white, and grey furred paws he squeezed his eyes shut and began to count. His accent was thick, not trying to make conversation he spoke as he would at home perhaps a sign he as comfortable around the other? Who knew with Haevan. "Nin'hn..T'ehn" Ruriska Hunter: While Hunter had yet to have any formal training, he had a natural inclination to the art of hunting, tracking and being unseen. Still, that might not be enough to fool the nose of a wolf. Of course, for the arrogant boy, losing was not as option. The raccoon waited until the wolf had gotten to nine before scampering away, head already working out where he could hide. After a bit of back and forth, he decided on the blanket cupboard. Being a child had some advantages, like being able to fit in smaller spaces. It took some manoeuvrings before he’d squeezed himself inside under a blanket, swinging the door closed behind him. Then he was left in warm, darkness to wait. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He would never have put down the others natural abilities, then again he had no idea. Only his assumptions considering the omnivore displayed predatory behavior more often then not. Still counting, the teen rocked back onto the balls of his feet, then foreword onto the pads in time to his rhythm. As he neared 40, he began running over possible idea's in his head. Hunter was small, that meant he could get into a lot of places. However perhaps that made it obvious. 46....47... The wolf turned, not yet walking, ears erect. Even if Hunter scoffed, the small boy had still given in. He secretly was pleased that the other had given into his request. It was a guilty pleasure of his. For all he was easy going, and friendly... he also liked being the center of attention, and things going his way. Yet...some how it was becoming more and more that it was from Hunter he sought this from. Haevan had friends, people he considered close to him. Somehow, it was in the little coon he sought to not only comfort him.. but.. No. It didn't matter right now. 48...49... Shrugging it off, he laughed, the sound not much louder then a chuckle. He was just being silly. "Fift'eh," he called out raising his already voice. "Rea'y 'r nau'ht 'ere 'ah come." He slinked out, nose scenting the air, eyes shifting around insensitively searching. Ruriska Hunter: This wasn’t a bad place. In any other situation Hunter could have fallen asleep, but the hunt was on and so there was certainly no relaxing. He listened intently, though much to his annoyance the blankets around him made it difficult to here anything. Perhaps it wasn’t the best choice of hiding places. He pressed further back into the cupboard. If Haevan found him, it would be hard to run... he would have to be quick about it. The raccoon made a soft sound of annoyance as something occurred to him. He might have left a trail of wet feet. Darn. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He grinned, catching the trail of his little companion. Tail flared he paused, seeing something out of place. Golden eye's fell, locked onto a small puddle of water. Crouching down on one knee to examine the clue, he lifted his head it having already cocked to the side in a very wolf-like fashion. "Hm." He followed it with his eyes. It led first to one spot, then as if trying to throw him off doubled back and led away. Following it, he moved silently, his paws making virtually no sound. He was not aware of it, but his muscles slid with animal like grace, something a human could not do. Considering he was both, it made things all the better. The Grey Wolf slowed his pace down, his senses told him he was drawing nearer his quarry. However, with the boy not in sight he knew the solution was not quiet at hand. Clues in his environment told him however he was on the right track. "Ah..." his eyes lit up, a feral glint in them. He hadn't had a chance to test his skills since he was a small ball of fur. "I do wonder." He reached a paw out, fingers closing around the handle. Ruriska Hunter: The raccoon was really beginning to think this wasn’t the best place to hide. Well, it wasn’t like he could change it now. He strained his ears, trying to hear any telltale steps of Haevan’s approach. As Haevan stopped outside the cupboard, Hunter could almost sense the wolf’s presence there. He went completely still and then thought better, slowly shifting himself closer to the door. His only chance was surprise. The door opened and Hunter tumbled out, landed on the ground and then bolted sideways. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He'd quickly pulled the door open, only to see a blur of moment come at him. Yelping in surprise, he fell back onto his rear, eyes wide and looking for the source. Hunter certainly had gotten the upper hand in startling the teen, however the fact that the small boy had bolted gave him incentive to chase. Jumping onto his feet, he peeled after the small raccoon speeding after him, eyes locked on the backside of the other. His legs were longer, he had a good chance of catching up. Heart pounding... it was moments like this that would stay with him. Fluttering feet, and racing minds running to some kind of future just beyond the bend. Ruriska Hunter: The raccoon was well aware that Haevan’s age and size gave him the advantage. He would have to use different tactics, as running in a straight line wasn’t going to cut it. The wolf was right behind, snapping as his heels. His path had him darting around the couch, where he nearly losing his footing as sending his tumbling, and into the kitchen. He pushed himself as fast his legs could carry him, diving under the kitchen table, using it as some sort of protection. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The wolf delighted in the high speed chase. He never missed a beat, drawing closer and closer for the final strike.. but when the smaller male tumbled he nearly went down as well, tripping over his own two feet perhaps with worry..perhaps because the sudden movement had startled him. Grunting he pushed off his knees and into a crouch, tail flicking, eyes watching the currently in hiding raccoon. Slowly, muscles moving in places they should not have, he moved foreword still on all fours. If he'd been any larger this would have been awkward for him to move. "Eet ain't over yet." he murmured, before bolting foreword going for the chair to get it out of the way. Fumbling around he managed to wrap his arms around the table anticipating the other to bolt. Grinning he attempted to drag the other closer to him breath coming in pants from the activity. Ruriska Hunter: The raccoon crouched under the table, tail fluffed out and his eyes narrowed in defiance. It was odd feeling, being the hunted one. He inched as far away from the straining Haevan and then abruptly changed tactics, throwing himself directly towards the wolf in hopes of confusing Haevan and allowing himself time to escape- leon_a_darkangel Haevan; He had been enjoying this, moving closer and closer in hopes of getting a handful of the other and pulling him closer. The wolf hadn't felt this elated in some time. However... when suddenly a blur of movement landed with Hunter leaping onto him, the wolf's wide gold eyes reflected his shock. Having spent many a time holding Hunter and even cradling him he did the first thing that came to mind. His arms encircled the smaller male and held him against himself. "Heh..ye know 'ah didn't expect tha' none." He rubbed his cheek against the others. For his wolven blood, it was a sign of affection, and a greeting wrapped in one. Ruriska Hunter: He certainly hadn’t been expected that. Hunter had been prepared to roll to the side and away when suddenly strong arms closed around him like a vice. The raccoon was caught. He was vaguely annoyed but that feeling didn’t last long as he relaxed into Haevan’s embrace. “You got me.” leon_a_darkangel Haevan; His smile was a soft one, and as he drew the other close, essentially as possible he let lose a long winded sigh. At Hunters admittance to defeat the wolf chuckled smoothing one of the smaller males ears down. "Ah know.. but ye did real good ye know." He gave a thoughtful nod as he peered up at the ceiling. "Tomorrow do ye wann'ah go ta the park?" He asked, finger combing at the others dark brown hair. Ruriska Hunter: The raccoon curled up and shifted into a comfortable position, quite content to lay on the kitchen floor indefinitely. “Yes, we can go to the park.” That would be fun. Hunter did love being outdoors amongst nature, the fresh air and the trees calmed him. “It’ll be good.” leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The wolf also enjoyed such things. Just because he played games indoors and lazed about by no means excluded him from this shared joy. Arms wrapped around the smaller male, he cradled him close eyes closing. "'ah agree." he chuckled amused. " 'ah hope eet's soon.. Dad has been dragin' me 'ah round." He sighed closing his golden eyes. "But 'ah promise as soon as possible neh?" the wolfs smile remained on his face as he not so much slept, but listened to the others breathing relaxing were he lay.

Hunter Learns A LessonRuriska Hunter: -hums as he systematically rips pages from a book belonging to a certain large cat that had been foolishly left on the couch- leon_a_darkangel Haevan; ... *gives up trying to say hi to Julien knowing the other was busy and instead catches sight of what Hunters doing* "Oi... tha 'aint nice Hunter..'" *frowns a little getting up* Ruriska Hunter: -glances up at Haevan, smirks and then looks down again- I know. elfgurl1234 *spots Hunter tearing up one of Seth's books* Heh, I wouldn't do that I I were you. lol I think I'm just going to leave him upstairs for a bit... Maybe buy him a drink...Byagane319 Kamiko: *keeps her eye on the raccoon, not trusting him* leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *shakes his head and settles down beside the other* "If ye wanna'h shred sumthin'.. eet shoul'nt be people stuff." *smooths a peice of his clothing down, also nodding to Kimiko* Ruriska Hunter: -looks up again with a wicked twinkle in his eyes- There’s no point if it’s not somebody’s stuff. –shoots Kamiko a warning glare and keeps tearing- elfgurl1234 I can see that. rolleyes *tears what's left of the book from Hunter's claws* Alright, that's quite enough. I would recommend you scat. stare Ruriska My apologies to Seth. ;.; -has no control- Hunter: -fluffs his tail out and hisses at Elf, trying to grab back the tattered book- Give it! D<>: Please don’t make him too angry. elfgurl1234 Don't worry, Ruri, I can handle myself. *slaps his paws away* Knock it off. You've been enough of a brat for one day. leon_a_darkangel ; ;' silly thing... he needs to learn some self control
Haevan; *stretches an arm out, stopping the other from hurting Elf* 'Ah will get ye sumthin' else ta use yer claws on." He shook his head with a frown. "Just dun't hurt no un." *peers down at him, attempting to reason as he pet an ear down however when the others paw is slapped away* "...'ah dun't see this goin' well." *said more to himself anticipating a hell fire storm* Ruriska Hunter: -blinks in surprise at the reprimand, quite shocked. He stares up Elf in confusion for a moment and then his expression becomes a dark glower. He jumps to his feet, ignoring Haevan’s attempts of diffusing the situation. Points a claw at Elf- Don’t ever touch me like that. I will do whatever I like. I am better than you. elfgurl1234 *looks down at the boy with a quirked brow, unphased by the childish tantrum* Oh really now? Excuse me, I didn't realize I was talking to the king of the universe. *cuts the sarcasm and turns more serious* Listen little brat, you need to cut the attitude and start treating others with ore respect. The rest of the world is not here to serve you and it's about time you learn a little humility. You'll be looking at a hard slap in the face from reality otherwise. Byagane319 Kamiko: *walks up behind Hunter and waits for him to try something*Apparently the little weasel thinks everyone is afraid of him and will do what he says. How funny.*crosses her arms* leon_a_darkangel <.<; oh my...however it would be wise of Hunter to learn when it is and isn't ok to be mean.
Haevan; *lets his hand drop into his lap, letting the kid be instead leaning back essentially shrugging* "Fine." he said almost borderline politely, it wasn't his job to make the kid behave, he did so because he didn't like seeing people fight, nor anyone upset. He wouldn't go out of his way to make a scene if his presence wasn't required. Drawing a knee to his chest, he eye'd the torn book, making a mental note to see if his dad had a copy and give it to Seth next time he saw the cat. The wolf went silent, feeling like a fool for having tried...also worried when now two surrounded him. x_Nata_x Kaede: Oh guys, don't be too harsh on him... *places a hand on Kamiko's shoulder* ^^ Byagane319 Kamiko: We mustn't excuse such destructive behavior and condesending attitude, Kaede-san. Not even Kiyone has this kind of attitude. At least she just blames her own genetics. elfgurl1234 To Kaede: *casually* Just tellin it like it is. Letting him have his way on everything doesn't exactly seem to help matter, does it. *big believer in discipline* x_Nata_x Kaede: ^^ No, of course not. But let us not make him feel ganged up on...? I would hate for him to feel... I don't know... >.>() Ruriska Hunter: -hisses again, body going stiff, curling his claws into a fist- Shut up.... just... shut up. -for a moment he looks almost afraid, a little child being berated by his elders but then he squares his shoulders, taking in a sharp breath through his nose, refusing to be intimidated- Go away. -crosses his arms over his chest, lifts his chin and simply glares- Byagane319 Kamiko: *pats Kaede*I am just standing here to help. Raccoons are vicious creatures, thats why they used dogs to hunt them.*smirks a bit then frowns at the small one*He could also use some simple manners. You are always so calm, Kaede-san. Think you could teach him?*she looked to her brother* elfgurl1234 *has no intention of moving* No, I don't believe that I will. *calmly sits down on the couch and flips through the remains of the torn up book* Hmm, definitely gunna have to get a new one. Ruriska Hunter: -gives a frustrated growl and then takes a step back, ears flickering. Glances at Kaede and then Haevan and then turns, retreating with quick steps outside-

... This Can't Be Good.In which Hunter and Meli meet for the first time, don't exactly hit it off well and the anti-Hunter alliance is born. AnimeEyeshime Missy + Cobalt = dream tag team. They're killers But, yes, Hunter and Missy should meet~ Like now! *grabs a Missy* Melisande: I was in the middle of--oh! Cobalt, darling, it's been ages! And...one of those newer Hytes...She still holds a grudge against the general idea of all those custom kids XD Ruriska Impromptu meeting. XD Hunter: -eyes Meli up and down, looking rather unimpressed- Who the heck are you? AnimeEyeshime Melisande: *sends a steely gaze right back, one perfectly shaped eyebrow sliding up the teeniest bit in cynicism* Moi is your elder, for starters. And moi should be asking the same of you, no? But moi shall attempt to give you the benefit of the doubt in this matter. You may call me Melisande. Ruriska Hunter: -the corner of his mouth rises into a smirk, gaze holding onto hers almost challengingly- Moi may call you Melisande? How grand. Well Meli, you can call me Hunter. AnimeEyeshime Melisande: Only moi's good friends may call moi Meli. If you insist on some diminutive nickname, Missy will suffice. *eyes flicker over him once more as she crosses her arms* Hunter? What an odd name. Ruriska Hunter: Missy? That’s stupid. –runs his claws through his hair- Hardly odd. A hunter hunts, yes? And so I am Hunter. –his smirk widens into a grin- -is running out of rp time- :< AnimeEyeshime Melisande: So your fate was predetermined before you were born? If you had a midlife crisis and decided to do something else completely different, it would be a little odd to be named Hunter. And by that logic of yours, moi's elder sister should share your name. :<Uh oh, she's starting to pull out the epic pout... O___o ((lol, it's pretty informal atm, though eventually I plan to get a list of members or whatever up in Missy's cert thread. Maxx and Jun are apparently the president and vice president but I've never been clear on who's which one XD )) edit: lol @ Katsu, though I can see his point XD Once she opens her mouth and starts dropping "moi"s right and left....well, I suppose it's like Suiseiseki and her "desu". You either think it's adorable, or want to kill something. Ruriska Hunter: -snorts- I’ll hardly be having any midlife crises. If the hunt is in the blood it’s there until death. –crosses his arms over his chest- Descriptive names should only go to those who deserve them... and if they fit. You could hardly have been called ‘Supercilious’, eh? And Femi would be something like Spineless or Pushover. AnimeEyeshime Melisande: Act as smug as you want, all moi knows is your talk of hunting in the blood seems about as fantastical as moi's brother's talk of sparkles and shining destinies. And if moi is proud, it's only because moi has a right to be--was I not manufactured to be perfect? And Femi is a dear, sweet Hyte who doesn't deserve to be talked badly about by the likes of you. *moves her hands to her hips, adopting a challenging pose* Eli: *to Shimy* On the one hand--I know I shouldn't let this get really physical or anything, but on the other hand...*pats Eli's floofy hair* I know, kid, I know. It's tempting to just let them go at it, isn't it? :3 Ruriska Hunter: Lumping together the art of hunting and some sort of magical shiny crap is rather insulting. –leans towards her- You were manufactured to be perfect? Hardly. Perhaps made to be delicious. You are a pig right? I do enjoy the taste of bacon. I’ll call you Deli Meli from now on. It’s fitting. –his tail curls around his leg- Femi is sweet, unfortunately so. But that doesn’t stop what I said from being the truth. o0 Sephiros Immortal 0o "And it's like, every time I turn around..." Katsu: ...*considers for a moment as to whether or no to butt in, ears lying back flat against his skull, before narrowing his eyes at Hunter* Well aren't you just a regular little pain in the nethers. *smirks faintly* Shouldn't badmouth a lady.
D: Boy wouldn't let me just...watch...*baps him* "...I fall in love and find my heart face down..." AnimeEyeshime Eli: *coughs politely, stepping forward* Not to put too fine a point on it, but I'm pretty sure my magical shiny crap could kick your a**... ^^;; But I'm not here to pick a fight, I'm here to keep my little sister from attempting to kill you... Melisande: *struggles against her brother's arms holding her back* LET ME GO :<Eli: Remember how violence isn't how a lady solves problems?Melisande: Even Katsu's with me on this one!Eli: As astonishing as that is...no, you may not beat up a Hyte younger than you are. *turns attention back to Hunter* As far as Femi goes--people who are kind and trusting are rare enough. Do you really want to keep taking advantage of her, hoping she'll become more of a cynic over time? I admire people who can stay pure, loving, optimistic in this world. Maybe you should think more about why you feel the need to harass her. What makes your cynicism any better than her trusting nature?(I think Eli's trying to make up for missing the friendship monologues XDD ) Ruriska Dang, really gotta go. xD Boss keeps stealing the computer. Ciao. Hunter: -waves a dismissive hand at Katsu- Keep out of this fox. –looks Eli up and down and then bursts out laughing- Try me then bucko. Let’s see some of your magical shiny crap... and our dear lady ham could hardly kill me. She might break a nail trying. –looks rather incredulous as Eli spouts out his long narrative- You’re really full of it. Thankyou for the lesson, magical girl-boy, I shall take it heart. –turns away with a snort- Well, see you later Deli Meli. I’ll give you one thing, you do look delcious enough to lick. –stalks off with a grin- o0 Sephiros Immortal 0o "And it's like, every time I turn around..." Katsu: >______________________> .....*smiles brightly at Missy* If you're looking for someone to help your brother with that a**-kicking, consider my services offered, Miss Melisande. *scowls at Hunter's retreating form* "...I fall in love and find my heart face down..." AnimeEyeshime Melisande: *joins Katsu in scowling at Hunter's back, cracking her knuckles* I doubt we can rely on Eli for such a thing. We'll have to do it ourselves...So this is how the unholy alliance is born! XDD Eli: I tried... *sighs* Missy, at least don't break any bones or send him to the hospital or anything, all right? That goes for you too, Katsu... I'm still going to believe there is something good buried deep, deep within Hunter. Probably very deep... ^^;; Byebye Ruri~ ^__^ Even though Missy found it unpleasant, it was nice to have her meet Hunter at least! XD

How to Break a Wolf's Heart: Lesson OneIn which Hunter fights with Kamiko, is a complete a** and asks Kaede out on a date. Ruriska Hunter: -lounges on the couch, one arm hooked behind his head and his other hand picking berries from the bowl sitting on his chest- x_Nata_x Kaede: *takes one look hunter and grins slightly, bowing low* Sir Hunter. ;3 Ruriska Hunter: -grins and gives royal wave of his berry eating paw- Arise Kaede. Come sit by your lord. –chuckles- leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *drops in with his dad...again and arches a brow at the two itching at the back of his head and sheepishly shuffling closer*
>w> fully tummy is full Ruriska Hunter: -flicks a berry at Haevan with a smirk- Come over here, I need a pillow. Byagane319 Kamiko: *raises an eyebrow at Hunter*I see you are still damanding as always. You could at least say please and act like you have some sort of kindness.Always tension between her and those who she sees as "villians" leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *catches it and pops the berry in his mouth with a soft laugh* Aye, 'ah 'm comin' *pads over to the other and settles himself down on the sofa opening his arm out to the other* Ruriska Hunter: -snorts- Buzz off doggy. Stop barking at nothing. –pops another berry in his mouth- There’s a difference between playful demanding and what you think I’m doing. Edit: Hunter: -shifts so that he can pull Haevan a little closer and plop his head down in the wolf’s lap- There we go. Byagane319 Kamiko: This coming from the one who destroyed other people's property for pleasure? Yeah, I'm sure it's so playful. I still say it wouldn't hurt to say please and thank you. Especially to anyone who actually considers YOU a friend. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *raises a paw at Kamiko* Nye, eet is okee. *tilts his head at the other K-9* if 'ah was mad at him 'ah would tell 'em no or 'ah would walk 'ah way *shakes his head with a soft laugh and peers down at Hunter effectively snuggling closer to the other. He then proceeded with smoothing his hair away from his face* Yer welcome Hunter. Ruriska Hunter: I was just a kid right, forgive and forget? –eyes twinkle wickedly- And I still say you should shut the hell up and mind your own business. I’ll deal with my friends my own way. You can keep your pleases and thankyous and maybe I won’t destroy something of yours when I need to amuse myself. -looks up at Haevan and winks- Ruriska Hunter: I was just a kid right, forgive and forget? –eyes twinkle wickedly- And I still say you should shut the hell up and mind your own business. I’ll deal with my friends my own way. You can keep your pleases and thankyous and maybe I won’t destroy something of yours when I need to amuse myself. -looks up at Haevan and winks- Ruriska Hunter: What is it with you morons and preaching? You and that magical fairy idiot can stick your common courtesy up your a**. If my friends don’t care about my attitude then it’s certainly none of your business. They’ll hang around if they want, and if they get sick of it, they’ll go. No skin off my back. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *eyes widen a little at the wink and tries to not laugh* 'ah would have ta give ye 'ah peice 'ah my mind... *shakes his head slightly and finger combs the others hair frowning* Either one 'ah ye... just leave each other be aye? *bites his lower lip*
=D; Wolf is all ... >: <3?
sorry that took awhile, had to reboot Ruriska Hunter: Don’t let it bother you Haevan. –picks out another berry, offering it to the wolf- She’ll get bored of yapping soon. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; Eh.. if ye say so. 'ah just dun't want 'n one angry with the other *shakes his head and takes the berry finishing it off as quickly as he ate it, hand resting against the others cheek* Are ye ok? *tilts his head* Ruriska Hunter: -grins- Oh come on, you know I enjoy it. But I’ll cut it out for now, if you don’t like it. I’ve had my fun. –closes his eyes- leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *strokes his knuckles against the back of his cheek* Aye, generally 'ah dun't like people fightin' *smooths an ear and leans over him a little more. resting his cheek on the others shoulder eyes closing as well* Thank ye *opens one eye* Ruriska Hunter: -shrugs awkwardly- You don’t have to thank me. Of course, you’ll probably have to get used to me arguing with everyone eventually. –lifts his arm up to pat Haevan’s head and scratch the wolf’s ear- -fiddles around in Hunter’s journal a bit- XP Oh and lunch time! I’ll be back in and hour or so. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *shrugs himself stretching with a yawn* 'ah know, but... between ye 'n 'ah.. Kamiko 'n ye would do some real harm. *laughs softly* 'ah dun't need to bail yer arse out... 'specially when she could kick mine *teases leaning into the itching foot placed on the ground tapping lightly*
xD; I need to add more into mine sadly... and start logging rp time DX
Have a good lunch Ruri <3 I should still be around.. but I might pop off for a bit I'm tempted to go play my DS/watch tv lol. Plus I need to do math >: ..
Oh! We need to jump into a new pm rp ... and I need to log the finished one *face palm* I'm lazy D< x_Nata_x Kaede: *rests a hand on Kamiko's shoulder, quirking an eyebrow at Hunter and grinning slightly* You're not teasing poor Kamiko, are you Hunter? leon_a_darkangel
Haevan; *nods to Kaede when the fishboy came into view* ^^;x_Nata_x Kaede: *nods back to the wolf and goes to recline on the couch with a slight yawn* Ruriska Hunter: -sticks his tongue out at Kaede- Just a little. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *rolls eyes thoughtfully and pulls his hat over his eyes and relaxes yawning nosily in echo of Kaede's itching at Hunters ear* x_Nata_x Kaede: *grins, tsking playfully* Shame on you, riling her up. You should be ashamed. *looks over at Haevan* And you're suppose to be keeping him in line~ Ruriska Hunter: Oh, I am, I am. –gives Kaede a pitiful, wide eyed look, hardly able to hold in his laughter- Can you ever forgive me? leon_a_darkangel >>;; Lol yeah.. I can sadly see that. Mean while Blue over there would just get butt hurt if Hunter slept around and not say anything because figures it's not his business xD;
Haevan; 'ah think he is 'ah free spirit ta roam *grins back at the other, poking his tongue out at Hunter, plopping a pillow down on him* >3 x_Nata_x Kaede: Good. *tries to look stern* ... and don't give me that look, it makes me feel guilty. *laughs, turning his head and shielding his eyes* Ruriska xD I can see that. Haevan will be all grumbling as Hunter relays his latest conquest in minute detail and is all ‘what’s your problem? >.>’ Hunter: A free spirit? Hell yeah. -bats the pillow away with a snort- I take it I’m forgiven then? Good. I don’t know what I’d do if you were mad at me fishy. x_Nata_x Kaede: *waves a hand at him, rolling his eyes and grinning broadly* You would continue to ignore my advice and wreak havoc as you usually do, with your partner-wolf in crime. *glances over at Haevan* Which reminds me, I forgot to ask -- what is your accent? leon_a_darkangel xD; Yeah.. Haevan would be stewing as Hunter tells him all about it, while the wolf just kinda shrugs and starts to stalk off not wanting to listen to it anymore >:
Haevan; *grins* Mhmm, ye might as well be *props his head up with the pillow, and stares up at the ceiling, for some strange reason annoyed with the other flirting but doesn't want to think to much on it* 'ah should go stalk 'ah 'bout the kitchen. Ruriska Aw, poor Haevan. xD At least he should know it means squat to Hunter. The racoon is just having fun. XP Hunter: You know me too well. -sits upright with a yawn, catching the bowl of berries before it topples sideways off his chest. Nudges Haevan with his elbow.- If you’re going to the kitchen, get me a drink will ya. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; 'ah always did *shrugs ducking out of the room and padding off into the kitchen, stretching rubbing at his eye* Eh~? If ye kiss my arse 'n say please *laughs and nods, playfully swatting at him in return* Aye, 'ah will. Kaede, want sumthin'?*vanishes behind the kitchen door frame and proceeds to raid around*
xP Yeah.. he won't realize it at first just because he'll be upset lol.
xD: I'll be back.. going to hang out with my friends while there here for a bit longer x_Nata_x Kaede: *shakes his head, wondering if Hunter'll ever realize how hard the wolf's fallen for him* No, thank you Haevan. I appreciate it though. Ruriska >3 I enjoy having complication in rp. XDD Makes thing interesting. Hunter: Get me lemonade, kay? –calls out after Haevan and then smoothes down his tail. After a moment he silence he gives the Koi a thoughtful look- Hey Kaede, wanna go out on a date? The thing is, if Haevan ever went out with someone else, Hunter would get mega upset. XP x_Nata_x Kaede: *coughs, jerking forward a bit and blinking at the raccoon Hyte in surprise, not sure if he's serious or not* I... uh... what? *settles a little, giving him a wary, hesitant smile* Don't tease me, you. You'll break my little fishie heart. *thinks he's teasing, so teases back*Oh god, poor Hunter. Poor Kaede. XDDD If Kaede had been holding a drink, he would have spat it out in surprise. Ruriska >.> -does feel bad for Haevan- This just kinda works for Hunter’s development. XD It’s in his personality to test other waters before he settles down with one Hyte. ;D I hardly think Kaede and Hunter would last long at all; they’d go out once or something and then just end up friends again. XD Hunter: -quirks an eyebrow, amused at the other Hytes reaction- Gee, I wouldn’t want to break your heart or anything. –taps a claw against his berry bowl- I’m serious. You wanna go out? x_Nata_x XD Yeah, I don't think Kaede has the personality to tame Hunter. Kaede: *blinks, thinking hard about the situation -- he has never been on a date before... no one's ever asked him* *is silent for a few minutes, his blue-silver eyes staring at Hunter guardedly before nodding slowly, relaxing a little* Alright... I think... I would rather enjoy that.Kamileunaire Cobalt: *sits wrapped in his blankets, watching the kids asking each other out on dates and giving a chuckle, wondering if he's the only person who isn't trying to be in a relationship* twisted Ruriska Hunter: -waits patiently for Kaede to come to his decision, a little surprised by his own sudden action. Oh well, it would be interesting... and the other teen had a nice tail- Yes? -smirks- We can go to the movies tomorrow night then. leon_a_darkangel =D; Oh my.. how to screw up a Wolf 101 is in session boys and girls.
Haevan; Aye. *the only comment he made after having been told what to grab...and not finding anything that sounded appealing returned to the living room in time to listen to the setting up of..a date.* Oh.. *eyes the drink he just poured and sets it on the coffee table beside the raccoon suddenly feeling rather ill, but stuffs his emotions down* 'ah.. nice for ye two. *sighs inwardly and stalks to get his ds settling down away from the two giving them privacy, jerking his hat down as he turned on the game* :/ x_Nata_x Kaede: *leans back against the couch, folding his tail underneath him, half leaning on the arm of the couch, lips curling in a slightly... embarrassed smile?* Looking forward to it. *rests his chin on his palm, glancing at Cobalt and quirking an eyebrow at the Xenomorph*POOR HAEVAN! crying KAEDE YOU JERK! *crais* Ruriska Hunter: -leans froward to take the lemonade, expecting Haevan take sit back down beside him and is not amused when the wolf hunkers down in another seat with his DS- ... What are you doing over there? Tsk. Edit: Hunter: I’ll pick you about around 6pm, Kaede. –sips his drink- We can grab some dinner on the way. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; *warily tips his head up, mostly hunched over the ds, legs folded Indian fashion and shrugs a little* Eh...? 'ah figured ye were talkin'? didn't wanna'ah interrupt none. *gets up and sits on the floor to dispel the fight, still playing to keep his mind off of the various thoughts running threw his head, forcing a grin on his face* sorry'eh. Just bein' 'ah dolt~
>: 3 Kamileunaire Cobalt: *coughs, and waves to get the wolf's attention* Haevan, I must thank you for the extra blanket earlier. X) What a sweet boy you are. You should come sit with me. Ruriska Hunter: ... –has no idea what caused the sudden change in Haevan. Hisses softly in annoyance- Quit being a dolt. We’re not talking about anything that you can’t hear. AnimeEyeshime Haha, yeah, since Missy has a very strong personality and so do some of the other Hytes, it seems as if they don't get along at all...but hey, Katsu and Missy are plotting together now, so...maybe someday in the far, far future, Missy and Hunter will be able to have an actual conversation. Or, you know, maybe not XDD Melisande: *flops onto the side arm of the couch where Cobalt's curled up, watching the drama with a raised brow and wondering idly if she should approach Haevan at this opportune time--but decides to wait and see a bit longer* Cobalt, darling, how are you this evening~? ^__^ *waves to Haevan, but decides not to directly speak to the wolf quite yet least she provoke Hunter...which she'd prefer not to do without a few more of her "allies" around*
x_Nata_x Sounds good to me. XD The sooner Hunter loses interest, the sooner Haevan won't be sad. *snugs him* crying Kaede: As long as it's not seafood. *grins, getting up, looking over his shoulder to wave to Hunter and Haevan* .... *pauses at the main entrance* ............... *suddenly realizes he's the woman* ...()Well, he IS a merMAID after all XD I gotta go to bed guys. Goodnight! And thanks for the plotting -- although it makes me really sad to make Haevan sad, sometimes a little roughness is exciting in an rp <3 Ruriska Oh gosh. XDDD Later Nata. Hunter: See ya later Kaede. –watches the fish Hyte leave and then gives Meli a sidelong look, lips curling up into a smirk, but decides not to start any battles juts yet- Or yeah... maybe not. 8P Hunter thinks Meli is hilarious. Kamileunaire Cobalt: *purrs to his porcine friend, pleased to see her, as it felt he hadn't in a long while* Melisande, how lovely to see you~ I am very well tonight...very well rested. *sits using the blankies as a cape and hood, watching Haevan to see if he'll come over* leon_a_darkangel >>; I'm only use to him being easy going and poking fun at things for the most part.. not unsure of himself and not knowing what to do. But yes ;O; it can make for intresting rp.
Haevan; *feels like some one was choking him when Hunter replied to his comment, and nods trying to laugh it off even if.. that wasn't as easy as he'd have hoped for* 'ah know, but figured.. eet would be easier. *sits down on the sofa beside Hunter, saving and turning off the game, shoving it into his pocket roughly...however is distracted* Eh..? *peers at the Xenomorph and laughs softly* Nye, eet wasn't 'n trouble *shakes his head and inclines his head to the other...technically not far away from him, even if he was next to Hunter*
*also nods to Missy when she waves, suddenly confused at all the attention on him and itches at the back of his head, peering threw his bangs at Hunter*
AnimeEyeshime Haha. Well, you know, she really IS hilarious. You just can't say that to her face, which Hunter has no qualms about doing XDD Melisande: It seems like the common area's been very busy since moi left this afternoon, moi is surprised you could sleep through it~ But being well-rested is always very important. Beauty sleep and all~ *nods* Kamileunaire Cobalt: Just a bunch of kids, that's easy to sleep through. *snickers, and hisses softly at Haevan, plainly able to see that the wolf is hurting* We should all go out sometime, the three of us adults. Wouldn't that be enjoyable? Ruriska Hunter: -settles back, much more content that Haevan has returned to his side. Something was bothering the wolf but the raccoon would deal with it later. Snorts as Missy mentions ‘beauty sleep’. As Cobalt mentions the ‘adults’ going out his eyes narrow ever so slightly- Why would Haevan want to go out with you, eh? leon_a_darkangel xDD;;; Cobalt likes to conspire yes indeed. And Haevan would rather stuff it in the back of his head right now and deal with it when there isn't anyone around him all the while acting like he's cool >:
Haevan; *tilts his head at the other...as if slightly confused and still trying to sort threw the mess of how this night was turning out* Aye... 'ah suppose eet wouldn't be bad. Have't gone out... in 'ah long time. *laughs slightly* dun't worry 'about me althou' *tsks at Cobalt and shifts his weight a little in his seat to absent minded as he pet at the others tail edit; he also half wished he could share in the raccoon's contempt for being at his side, however at least for the now it wasn't the case.* Kamileunaire (XD I am confused about where everyone is sitting XD *total retard*) Cobalt: *grins toothily* Because we're closer to his age...he can connect with us better. Besides, you just hurt his feelings. Can't you see it? You are a real little s**t when you want to be. *Bluntly. Not that he cared, it was all rather amusing to him, in a way.*leon_a_darkangel (( xDD... they must be on a four person seat minum.... considering there all like shoved together ))
Haevan; The wolf's eyes dilated, the golden orbs a bit to wide for there own good as he stared at Cobalt, by no means wanting any of this shoved out on the open. "W..wait." his accent was thicker with the spoken word, however his ears flattened back. He was lost now for words, how strange he usually was so good with them. "Ye... dun't need ta talk for 'e." he tugged off his cap and wrung it together in his hands glaring at the hat as if it had been the source of his problems all along. Sadly, Cobalt in this instance wasn't wrong, the Xenomorph had hit the nail on the head. Ruriska Hunter: Connect with you better? Hardly. –gives Haevan a quick look of annoyance as the wolf agrees to the stupid idea of an outing- I haven’t hurt his feelings. –scoffs- Sure he looks a bit off at the moment, but that wasn’t my fault. –is of course completely oblivious to the fact that him going out with Kaede would upset his best friend- AnimeEyeshime Melisande: There's nothing wrong with having a little fun, even if it means Haevan isn't at your side every moment. rolleyes We'll take good care of him, promise~ *smirk*((Hytech's couches are sort of like Hammerspace, I think... XDD )) Kamileunaire Cobalt: How blind you are~ *hisses softly, and smiles in amusement at Missy, his tail curling around his feet* You would benefit greatly by being more in tune with the feelings of those you befriend...And agreed, Melisande. It would be great fun. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The wolf raised a paw and shook his head. "Eet is fine all 'ah ye." He tried waving his hand dismissively. "Regardless 'ah wha' 'ah do... people'll do what ever eet may be." The wolf Hyte couldn't help arching a brow at Missy and Cobalt alike.., wondering exactly what the pair meant by take good care of him... did he really need tending to? The idea made his brow furrow. He studied Hunter for a long while before offering a weak smile. " 'ah will be fine 'ah suppose." The blue haired wolf shrugged, tsking at the two older Hytes at the same time, the closest he'd come to agreeing at the moment.
(( xDDD; Hammerspace? *rather amused* Or perhaps 4th dimension much? )) Ruriska Hunter: Oh, I’m sure you’ll take great care of him DeliMeli or else I’ll be eating pork sausages for dinner. Heh, watching you prance about all night, flipping your hair, hardly seems like a good time to me. –stretches his legs out- Whatever; do what you want Haevan. But when you get back make sure you’re not all mopey. [/color leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The older male gave the teen a slow, but definable nod. Why not. It was worth trying to get his bent a** back in shape. So what if Hunter didn't.. like him in that way. It was still his best friend, and despite it all liked his company. " 'ah ain't makin' 'n'eh promises. But aye" he laughed, and while it was quite in nature... he still felt horrible. What would going out with two people he basically..knew nothing about solve? Shaking his head he leaned back in his chair, tentatively pulling his knees up to his chest and yawning chin resting on his knees, feeling suddenly like his eye lids weighed to much. He did open one eye long enough to slowly lean in a little closer, before closing both eyes again. AnimeEyeshime Melisande: Ooh, the pig-eating jokes are so frightening. rolleyes *has resolved to take Noe's advice to heart and keep in mind that Hunter's just a big jerk and as long as she keeps her cool, she has the upper hand. Or so she thinks* Moi does indeed have other skills besides 'prancing' and 'hair-flipping'--in fact, moi was thinking earlier that it might be fun to make a short film. Shimy, besides being an ex-magical girl and all that jazz, had directing ambitions so moi is sure something of nice amateur quality could be put together. Does that sound interesting at all, Cobalt, Haevan? *pointedly leaves Hunter out* We could go and look for locations to shoot at~ Ruriska Hunter: -absentmindedly reaches out to scratch Haevan’s ear, still rather annoying at the insinuation that he was the one who had caused the wolf’s mopish attitude- A movie.... –gives a snort of laughter- An adult movie maybe? You seem to fit the bill of that. I can’t see you acting in anything that requires brains. I bet they could spend ALLL day just trading insults. AnimeEyeshime Melisande: Heaven forbid Maxx and Jun give me brains as well as beauty. Moi is not claiming to be a genius like Auntie Mena, but moi is not clueless either. Just because moi likes pretty clothes and such means moi cannot have an IQ above 70? Pssh. You judge people by their appearances, but you forget there is more than meets the eye to people. For example, the fact that you have a best friend--a sweet, charming one at that--means that Eli is probably right is assuming there is some redeeming quality to your rather prickly personality.
Besides, Kaede and I have a gig at HQ. He plays the piano, moi sings. *shrugs*Yeah, probs. Missy would probably be tempted to break out the karate after an hour or two, Hunter would retaliate and that wouldn't end well for either of them ^^;; leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The wolf despite himself eyes fluttering closed with a sort of half sigh, indeed more tired then he'd originally guessed. "Aye.. 'ah dun't think 'ah movie would be bad.. 'ah been curious 'bout filmin'" He chuckled softly, the comforting gesture of his ear being itched eased some of the tension in the wolf, yet made the knot tighten all he more. His flush from Missy's praise was hidden by the shadow of his cap. "'ah appologize... if 'ah snore on ye all... ignore me eh?" He shook his head, tail curling over his feet. He was more mumbling at this point, fading in and out of consciousness, head touching his friends shoulder at this point. Despite himself... he actually was curious about both Missy and Cobalt's invitation now. Things with Hunter were far from better.. but maybe someday the drama would cease to be, and some sort of resolution met. To what avail he had no damned idea. Ruriska Hunter: Everyone judges people by their appearance, because that’s the way people are. People use kindness to hide the darkness inside. -shrugs- In any case, calling you dumb was just a needle that failed to meet its mark. Clearly I have to work harder now to annoy you, and it also seems as though you’ve got the preaching gene like all the others. It’s getting old fast. AnimeEyeshime Melisande: *smiles warmly at Haevan* Moi thinks it should be fun! It'll give Shimy something to do besides torturing Eli and Kamiko and everyone working at her bakery, at least ^__^
Yes, because no one in this world is sincere. There's a difference between being naive and being foolish. And--*grins* My mother-figure's a magical girl. Monologuing's something all of us learned to get through dinnertimes at the cottage. Just like Eli taught me martial arts as a cautionary measure for if Auntie Mena's beasties ever get out of the lab.Eli: *shudders over in the corner* Oh god...the safety videos... @____@PSAs about tentacle monsters aren't pretty, kids XDD *pats Eli* Ruriska Hunter: Martial arts, eh? That might prove amusing. In any case, I’m bored of this conversation. Go get your beauty sleep Missy. -curls an arm around the half asleep wolf possessively, snuggling against him much like he had as a kid. Closing his eyes, he curled his fluffy tail around the both of them and set out on the path to sleep- Poor traumatised Eli. XDD –wants to see those videos- >.> It’s time for me to be off. X3 Night all. Kamileunaire Cobalt: *yawns, and shifts to curl up again, covering himself with the blankets* Movie sounds fun maybe. leon_a_darkangel Haevan; The wolf opened one eye, and despite all the going on of the evening.. he sighed and reached up smoothing one of the raccoon's ears. True to his own nature.. he still comforted the one whom in turn had managed to hurt him. Strange..he should have been angry. Something. He couldn't help think that, yet some how he still curled up close as he'd done many a time before. "If ye..wann'ah get technical Hunter." he murmured quietly. "Dark'ess is 'n 'all 'ah 'r hearts. Eet is if we use eet, or not. Perchin' or not... people'll do wha' they do.. cuz.. eet's in there nature." He shrugged lightly, head on the others shoulder as he sighed. "Some say eet's sleep, eat, party, 'n more. but... who knows." he mumbled, dozing off into a troubled sleep. As the arm curled over him.. and the warmth of the coon's tail.. the wolf nuzzled his cheek against him. The night was history.
With that.. I must depart >: .. I have to do math hw, and am all bleh atm xD; Hope to see everyone soon~ We so need to consider doing an "Adult" rp now in the guild *snorts* <3 Even if.. Haevan is probably more a teen at heart then an adult 83; Its allll good~
Have a good evening everyone :3 <3
edit; .... *snorts* XD lawl.. the idea of safety videos makes me die inside

50 Points for the Head
In which Noe and Hunter have a conversation, some hunting fun and Hunter decides to go on a hunting trip. Ruriska Hunter: -strolls across the roof with a pleased expression- Kuuro Kitten Noe: *eyes the roof from the inside.* What in the... *goes out side to see Hunter there* Kid what'cha doin' up there? Ruriska Hunter: -crosses his arms over his chest and looks down at her smugly- No reason. –leans froward, tail swishing- Come up. Kuuro Kitten Noe: *rolls her eyes but finds the nearest tree and climbs up making a running leap to the roof* So what are you up too... *eyes wearily* Ruriska Hunter: I am going to practise my aim. –waves a hand at a nearby pile of rocks- And I was going to fly a kite for the hell of it. –grins- Seth should be along eventually. 50 points if you get him in the head. Kuuro Kitten Noe: *growls* You touch him and you're suddenly going to be flying without wings... *eyes the rocks* And what's your deal with him anyway, Rabid Prince? Ruriska Hunter: >.> You’re no fun. –shrugs, nudging a rock over the edge of the roof with his foot- I just don’t like him. Never have. He... bugs me. Kuuro Kitten Noe: I said why? That's hardly a reason if he's done nothing to provoke it. *chuckles a bit* At least with me you have reason, I drugged you as a baby... still tempted to do that. *picks up a rock and chucks it off the roof* You been training? Ruriska Hunter: I don’t need a reason to dislike him. But if you really need one, how about... he’s an idiot. –snorts- I don’t know what you see in him. –pokes his tongue out at Noe- And I’ve forgiven you for drugging me, though I will get you back one day. –flicks a rock up with his foot and catches it- Yeah, I train every day. Usually at night. Kuuro Kitten Noe: *sighs* You're just a brat that doesn't know anything. *chucks a pebble at his head* I'll be waiting when you think you can take me. *looks out over the trees* Besides, he's really a nice guy. He's really fun to be around and he won't...hurt me. So I think he's a good match. Ruriska Hunter: -dodges the pebble with an easy tilt of his head- I know more than you think. I wouldn’t hurt you... not that I’m interested in you that way or anything. >.> He’s not a great as you seem to think he is. But if he makes you happy, that’s your decision. I’ll try not to bother him too much. Of course, if he does hurt you... I’ll castrate the b*****d. Kuuro Kitten Noe: *chuckles poking him in the nose* I think I can handle him on my own... but just in case maybe its good to have the Rabid Prince around. *pokes him again* What I'm not attractive? XD Anyway what have you been training on? Ruriska Hunter: You might be too soft on him. –grins- I won’t have any such qualms. He’ll be missing limbs the next time you see him. –quirks an eyebrow- You’re quite attractive. I dunno... you’re my teacher. –shrugs, as if that explains everything- I’ve been training on poor, innocent trees and stalking small mammals for the hell of it. Kuuro Kitten Noe: Yes well I'd prefer if you didn't worry so much about Seth. He won't hurt me. *is sure of it* Besides I think you need to be more merciful toward the trees and mammals. *shakes her head* You have such an attitude sometimes where do you get it I wonder? *has an idea but couldn't very well say so* Ruriska Hunter: Whatever you say sensei. I still don’t like him though. As for those trees, I hardly have anyone else to train with, besides you. And I never hurt the mammals... I just scare them a bit. –smirks- Don’t pretend you don’t love my attitude. At least I’m not boring. Kuuro Kitten Noe: Your attitude is fine I'm sure but you could do to be a little more tolerable. That's all I'm saying on it. *looks off* If you need someone to train with ask some of the other hytes. Or I don't know go farther out where there's something to really hunt. <3 Ruriska Hunter: Maybe. -stares off into the distance- I think I’ll go on a trip for a while. Out into the wilderness and spent some time honing my skills... I think it’ll be good. Some solitude. –shrugs- Kuuro Kitten Noe: Good then maybe I don't have to worry about you. I can hone my skills as a bounty hunter then. *smiles* I got into a school recently so I'm halfway there. Ruriska Hunter: Worry about me? –chuckles- Nah, don’t do that. You might get grey hairs. –flicks his tail- Bounty Hunter, eh? Good luck with that. Judging by what I’ve seen, you’ll pass with flying colours. Kick some heads in for me. Kuuro Kitten Noe: Lil' punk. *giggles standing to her feet* Indulge me, I want to see how fast you've gotten or how slow I am. *makes a running leap off the roof into a neighboring tree* Catch me if you can! Ruriska Hunter: Heh. –races after, with a powerful leap from the rooftop he lands in the nearby tree, shooting off after her within seconds- You’d better move faster Noe! Kuuro Kitten Noe: *laughs looking behind her* I guess I should. *leaps forward bouncing off a limb and pushes off to another tree shifting higher up into the thickets* This is pretty fun though... I'm not entirely surprised you're faster now. Show me what you've learned. Ruriska Hunter: -grips the trunk of a tree, shifting his weight with barely a thought so that the branches don’t break beneath him- The hunt is always fun. –stays at a lower elevation, keeping up with Noe, matching her tree for tree, waiting for a chance to shorten the gap even more- Kuuro Kitten Noe: *listens for the rustle of trees noting his slightly less elevated stated* Hmm? *continues running hopping from tree to tree only to stop at one and allow herself a moment to swing from it upside down from a limb* You're good now. *reaches out to tag him* But just how good? Tag your it. *jumps up quickly to take off* Ruriska Hunter: -gives a playful growl as he’s tagged- Alright. –pushes off the tree with a powerful kick, barrelling into the next tree and closer to the fleeing female, grabbing a firm hold on the branch she’s on and pulling it down with his weight- Kuuro Kitten Noe: *feels the branch give way under the added weight and waits a split second before it cracks completely* Well that's mean... * she grabs a branch at her side swinging to safety* You just gonna make me fall to the ground? *laughs and takes off again putting some distance between them.* Ruriska Hunter: -snorts in amusement as the branch cracks and he swings himself to a lower branch, taking off after her once again. Gives a wry smiles, breath coming easy as he concentrates on the sound of her progress. She was fast but he was better. Drops back, moving from tree to tree at a different angle to come in from her side- Kuuro Kitten Noe: *notices the shift in this chase though is excited for being the one hunted for now* <3 This is fun! *Swings to the side, losing track of him for a brief moment, enough to catch him in her peripheral* Hey! How'd you... *glances down to find her footing miscalculated* Ah crap... *falls to a branch farther blow her with a loud thump* Ruriska Hunter: -eyes the figure of Noe ahead, seeing her foot slip from underneath her. Uses the moment to his advantage, speeding up and leaping directly toward her position. Lands on one branch and then kicks off again, jumping towards her in a pounce- Kuuro Kitten Noe: *Momentarily dizzy from the fall but regains her composure enough to see a determined raccoon headed straight for her* Ah... crap! *Gets up but stumbles a moment before checking she's okay and making another leap across to another tree branch* Ruriska Hunter: -hits the branch she was just on and is off again, right on her heels- Speed it up Noe, I’ve nearly got you. –laughs- Kuuro Kitten Noe: OH hush I slipped on that branch and may have spranged my ankle *lies* Ruriska Hunter: -snorts- I don’t think. I know a sprained ankle when I see one. However... –comes to an abrupt halt, claws digging into the branch he’s on- I concede. >.> -licks his lips- I’m gonna run off far into the wilderness and fight some bears now Noe. When I come back, the true hunter and the bounty hunter can have another go. –winks and darts away- Time for me to be off. X3 It was fun! <33

I Missed You
In which Hunter returns from his training trip in the mountains much bigger and meets up with Haevan in a different frame of mind.
Time had passed, it was an undeniable part of life. The rolling momentum that could not be ceased, it was part of nature and the world he belonged to. The wolf had come to accept perhaps he wouldn't see his friend again, maybe..after what happened it was wise. He had grown no more or less cynical simply steeled his will. Today was no different then another, being the weekend he wasn't being made to trudge off to the college with his father. Having craved sunshine at his back, the wolf chose to go for a walk, namely in the neighboring woods by the HyTech building. Granted he had one earphone jammed into his snow white ear. He also ported a camera around his neck occasionally pausing to snap a few pictures. Save these few interruptions, he savored the scent of the forest, of birds rustling. "Heh..makes me wonder the last time I was out here." he turned down his ipod, although not much. The sounds of Gary Jules 'Mad World' could be faintly heard. I find it hard to tell you, I find it hard to take. Cheesy, but who was judging. Haevan didn't per say sing, but hum along.
For Hunter, time had certainly passed by. His strength and skill had tripled, his later months as a teen spent deep within a forest training in the arts of the hunter. Today had been Hunter’s return to ‘civilisation’; however he had yet to return to the Hytech building, instead lurking around the outskirts, simply enjoying the day.
It wasn’t long before he caught the sound of Haevan’s passage. The wolf was the one person that Hunter had missed during his time away. It seemed as if he hadn’t seen him forever. There had been some sort of strange uncomfortableness within the wolf that had made their last few meetings difficult. Time to clear the air and make everything well again.
The racoon dropped from the tree he was in, landing with a light thud behind Haevan. “Long time no see.” The large male drawled out, his tail swishing against the ground. “Hm?” A quiver of arrows was strapped across his shoulder and in one hand he lightly gripped an impressive bow. Hunter had definitely grown big. He had filled out, muscle on muscle. His lip curled up in a smirk, red eye glinting with affection.
The wolf had done just about all the growing he would some time ago. While he had filled out, the wolf by comparison was much smaller. Slender, his muscles were sleek, and designed for long distance, however he had never trained his body for much beyond sports, and the occasional run he would go on when he needed to clear his head. He had spent many days in a classroom picking up a thing or two, or at home playing a game trying to ease his troubled mind when things had gone sour. Despite warnings.. and his best judgment he'd never gotten over Hunter. He knew better, even if it was a beautiful calamity more often then not.
To say he wasn't startled by the sudden presence would have been an understatement. Much to his dismay he hadn't sensed, or felt like he was being watched, something the blue haired adult wasn't use to. Turning around quickly, heart slamming in his chest he had been on the defense uncertain as to what was stalking him. However... his expression softened. The unease he had felt.. it seemed such a long time ago. While he did recall the outright pain of having his heart fed to him, he'd simply grown wiser from it.
Seeing said raccoon again came as a double edged sword. How the passage had changed him. It did not fall on deft ears the deep drawl, or on blind eyes just how much he'd grown into his own skin. Blinking to dispel the thoughts that itched at his mind, he turned off his music player, and jammed it into his pocket, a sort of half lop sided grin on his face as he nodded. It was sheepish, in which he tried to hide his embarrassment for having been caught off guard. "Eet has. 'ah haven't see ye..in.." he frowned thinking. "'ah long time Hunter." His accent was as thick as ever, rolling off his tongue with a strange natural grace that he claimed no part in.
If Haevan’s broken heart was ever to be revealed to Hunter, he would have felt a great deal of regret for it. It had certainly not been intended. This tryst with Kaede had been a short thing. A bit of fun and then Hunter’s focus had changed to training and dating hadn’t even crossed his mind again. But the raccoon was unaware of Haevan’s pain, despite being given some rather obvious clues as a teenager. Giving a deep chuckle, the large male reached out and captured the wolf’s chin in his hand. “I told you I’d grow bigger.” His hand dropped away, but not before he had flicked one grey ear. “We had better make up for time lost, eh.” He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, his stance easy but alert. Hunter was exactly that now; a hunter.
It had, until a friend namely a certain Cheetah by the name of Seth had helped in his healing proccess. While Haevan wouldn't make a point of bringing up the previous affair with Kaede.. perhaps the day would come when he would explain what had happened to cause him to withdraw contact for so long. Even the wolf had known better to think it would last forever, but in those early days... could anyone have blamed him? It was no matter for now, it was not what was going for the present now.
The sudden movement had come unexpectedly. He had tipped his chin down for only a brief moment, where-in he had collected his thoughts. Looking up..up into those glintering red eyes his own golden ones studied the once familar face, memorizing each line, and fall of his hair. "Oi.. dun't rub eet in none aye?" He scowled playfully, wrinkling his nose. Even as a teenager, Hunter had promised to grow taller then he. In his arogance..Haevan had proudly deined this, puffing up to his full height and waving away the very notion. How wrong he had been.
Laughing softly, he shook his head, it abruptly stopped when his ear was flicked. A light growl rolled from his lips, pushing at the hand. "Ye great lug, they aint 'ah toy," he crossed his arms over his chest searching for the right to be cross.. however it fell away as soon as the flush on his face creeped up. "'ah..think so." He admited after a moment, snowy grey and white tail flicking. Reaching a paw up, he tugged his belted cap down a little lower to shade the obvious blush.
Running a finger along the string of his bow, Hunter studied his friend’s face, lips curled up in amusement at the sight of the blush. It really had been too long since he had spent time with ‘his property’. “I’ve missed you.” He admitted easily. Only with Haevan would he ever allow such a weakness to show. Though honestly, the wolf was the only one he would ever truly miss. Everyone else he could do without.
“I must smell.” Hunter looked himself off, from the frayed bottoms of his pants to his rather dusty top. “I’ve been training. Figured there were much more interesting things to hunt on the top of a mountain.” The large male chuckled, plucking the bow string with a ‘twang’. “Fighting bears and wildcats of course.” He winked at the wolf playfully.
“You’ll have to come up there with me one day. It’s beautiful.” Up there with the trees, the mist and the waterfalls, he’d truly felt at home. It had been a perfect chance for some solitude and self reflection.
It was only a weakness if one saw it as such, this had long been something the pup believed. Even as a bouncing ball of rolly polly fur... little had changed this. Haevan unlike Hunter was a social creature, believing in friends and spending time with others around him he cared for, and was in return cared by. That didn't mean the raccoon didn't have a special place in the wolf heart. Quite the opposite, if he hadn't cared so much he wouldn't have remained standing here all things considered.
"'ah..'ve ..also miss'd ye." He admitted, fiddling with the half heart necklace he had worn since his teenage days. Once the words left his lips, he knew them to be true. He had. Many a times over he'd worried were Hunter had gotten himself off to, or what he was doing. However he was distracted when the other admitted he smelled. Nose wiggling he scented the air, the wolf's head cocking to one side in a very animal like gesture. "Aye, but.. ye smell like 'e wild." He mused thoughtfully. "All in 'all 'ah think eet ain't to bad." His smiled brodened a touch, in which he winked. The 'twang' of the bow made his ears flick foreword. "Oi.. 'ah think bears 'et meh..." he tsked at the idea shaking his head, itching at the back of his neck.
"Hm..?" He tipped his head up to look at the other and nodded. "'ah..would like tha'." He admitted without hesitation. While he wouldn't nessicarly share Hunter's love of living in the woods, he did have an apprication for it. A deep rooted one that Haevan had never rebuked or questioned. Hestiantly.. the wolf took a step foreword. Hunter wasn't as small as he use to be, no pun intended. He couldn't pull him into his arms anymore, instead he had to reach out and hug him. "'ah 'm glad ye'r back." he said quietly. He also tried to not pay attention to the fact he was only roughly chest height to the dark haired coon. His hat barely touched his chin.
“Good.” Hunter was pleased the wolf had also been missing his presence. There was a loyalty and friendship between them that would stick through thick and thin now. Hopefully. He ran a hand through his hair. “I smell of the wild? You’ve got to love it then.”
Already he was looking forward to the future. They could go on a long camping trip. There was one particular spot far in the forest, a crystal clear pool that Hunter had spent a great deal of time beside. He was going to make sure this time that his wolf didn’t get too far away from him.
As Haevan stepped towards him, Hunter leaned slightly froward, anticipating the next move. How many times had he snuggled into Haevan’s arms as a child? Content with the wolf like with nobody else. How strange that he would allow him into his life when everybody else was pushed away with an angry hiss. Without a word, Hunter wrapped his strong arms around the smaller male, pulling him close.
Hope. It was all anyone could ask for, a little bit of patience.. and the kindness of a warm embrace. Loyalty was something the wolf was known for, sticking to something threw thick and thin. In the taller male's powerful embrace, he closed his eyes and instead of the one holding he was held. Often times he'd known he was a star stuck fool, blinded by the compassion he felt for Hunter, and what would ultimately turn into a strange love he did not fully understand.
Despite those around him warning him of the dangers.. of his being a fool to have fallen so hard.. it had been the times when they'd laughed together, found comfort that had made the pain worth it. Then again, the wolf had always been hard headed and stubborn to fault.
"Mm. Eet 's rather nice." He admitted, voice muffled, cheek resting against the others chest. "'ah ne'r spe'd 'ah nuff time 'out 'ere." After this he fell silent, savoring the moment, slendr arm tightening their grip, mindful to not squeeze. Tipping his chin up..and up, having to crane his neck back. His hat still got in the way for the most part. "But 'ah think 'ah bath'd be wise." He laughed shaking his head, loosening his grip as if to step back realizing he'd all but literally latched on for half a moment. Bah, silly emotions.
Hunter: The irony was that Hunter would never in a million years dream of hurting his Haevan, and yet unwittingly he had broken the wolf’s heart. At least a heart could be mended, and Hunter was lucky the wolf had a forgiving nature. Taking a deep breath, Hunter delighted in the familiar scent of the other male. To be the one holding the other firmly was a nice change. It brought out the protective side of his nature; the need to possess and protect was strong. The fact that Haevan seemed almost desperate for the embrace caused him to tighten his grip even more.
“I’ll make you spend more time out here; it will be even better ‘cause I’ll be there with you.” The raccoon grinned down at the wolf, bending lower to nudge the hat out of the way with his nose. “Heh. I’ll put a bath on my to-do list.” He let go off Haevan reluctantly. Turning his attention to his bow, he tapped the wood lightly with his finger. The weapon was so familiar too him now. It was almost like a second limb.
“Were you doing anything before I burst in or are you free to spend some time with me?” Not that he’d take no for an answer. Haevan would find Hunter tagging along no matter what his answer.
Desperate perhaps was a strong word, yet who was counting? He'd missed the familar presence of his long time friend, and had been worried sick over him. It was of no matter, things were as they were. It came with a warning however, fool me once shame on me. Twice, would have spelled good bye. Hunter had won the wolf's trust at an early age when he'd allowed himself to be snuggled by no other but himself as a small child. Looking back, Haevan recalled feeling proud of himself, and at the time right up until Hunter's teenage years protective of him. He was use to the one watching and gaurding the other..to have the tables turned gave him the structure of a pack that..some how Hunter had taken head of. That still made him smile to this day.
"Oh?" he remarked placing a hand on his hip, a single digit looping threw the lope. He looked thoughtful for a moment and nodded. "'ah..thi'k...'ah would like tha' Hunter." He replied, still having to tip his head up to meet the others eyes. With his hat now tipped back, what little light that shone threw the tree tops made amber gold eyes some how brighter, if not reflect there natural feral light. "Good." He teased laughing from amusement. While he missed the others embrace, he settled back onto his heels rocking foreword onto the front toes. His gaze fell onto the bow, he could relate. He'd grown found of using a camera.
"Eh?" Brought out of his musing he shook his head. "Nye, 'ah was takin' 'ah walk." He replied shrugging, licking his lower lip. "My Ipod..'n 'ah thi'k tha' was 'bout eet" He shifted his weight to his other foot. "Ye game?" The wolf smiled...in fact wolfishly peering around their shared surroundings.
Red eyes met an amber gaze and Hunter felt the oddest tug in his chest. Those red eyes narrowed slightly, nostrils flaring as he straightened his body, muscles along his arm flexing involuntarily. How... interesting. The raccoon shifted again, tail swishing along the ground and then coming to a rest, the tip curling around one leg. After a tense moment his body seemed to relax, at ease. As a teen he’d been far too concerned with himself that he’d barely even noticed those around him. Now as an adult, while still proud the selfishness that had ruled him was now very nearly gone.
“I’m game.” He started forward, linking an arm through Haevan’s and tugging him along down the path. Hunter was mindful to shorten his steps to watch the wolf’s. “So what have you been up to while I’ve been away? You haven’t found yourself a boyfriend or girlfriend have you?” He gave a rather predatory grin. The question was certainly an important one.... a necessary one. Hunter preferred not to have to skewer somebody for taking what was his.
While the other had tensed, Haevan had not inherently expected the tense moment. In another life time.. either one would have been natural enemies, he a predator and the raccoon one in his own right. He hadn't meant to appear threatening, but his animal instict were never to far away. By nature, the forest was the wolf's home, not the modern world in which he enduldged himself in. Shaking his head, he pushed his hat down a little lower, not much considering Hunter had seemingly known just were to let it sit. He had always been attentive to those around him, sensative to a degree that had him investigating and inquiring. He felt silly he'd caused tension and sighed a touch wispily. Once upon a time, he had chased Hunter in a game of hide-and-go...tag. The hunter in him had not died, just lay dormate as always.
The sudden contact made him crane his head again. Shaking his head, he had to regardless widen his steps not wishing to make the other have to walk at a snails pace. Caught off gaurd with the sudden question, Haevan's nose wrinked up, shaking his head. "Nye, 'ah been doin' to much." He replied rests his head on the others arm for half a second while he gathered his thoughts. "'ah... hm.." he had the strangest feeling that even if he'd said yes... Hunter would have stalked the poor soul down and shot them dead. The imagine made the wolf smile sheepishly. "Why do ye ask~" He asked aloud, arching a thoughtful brow.
Hunter’s reaction had hardly been one of predator and prey. The raccoon could hardly have felt threatened by his wolf. His own confidence was too ingrained. What he had felt then had been something for more interesting. As there gaze had met Hunter had felt something that he had never contributed to Haevan before. An attraction. One day they would play Hide and Seek again, and then time Hunter would be the one seeking.
“Just making sure I don’t have any competition to deal with.” Hunter turned his intense gaze upon the wolf and then glanced away with a chuckle. “You belong to me after all.” They continued walking and Hunter fell into a contemplative silence. His ears twitched occasionally, catching the sounds of the birds and the wind rustling the leaves. Under the trees with Haevan on his arm he felt content.
“I nearly died when I was up on the mountain. I thought about you then.” Hunter’s tone was calm and rather bland as he thought back upon his struggle.
In this way the wolf was still ignorant, he had never really divulged to deeply into romances, or anything of the likes. When it had arisen.. he'd felt awkward, and while he was older he had tried to not place those particular feelings on Hunter.. after all he'd been a teenager the last time he'd seen him. Hadn't Femi said he was being foolish? Mentally shrugging it off, he licked his lower lip thoughtfully, ears flicking foreword listening to the others steady heart beat. Like the taller male..it was set, powerful and strangely alluring. Perhaps if they did play the game again..the blue haired wolf would be to distracted by the others presence to properly hide. Who knew.
Rolling his eyes playfully he growled, a golden eye flickering up to the other and purposely poking his tongue out. "Aye, 'ah haven't forgotten none." He replied almost thoughtfully. "'ah aint 'ah push over like 'ah was tho." He mused his snowy grey tail brushing against the others ringed one. He closed his eyes for a moment, inhaling a breath, taking in the deep forest scent..the muskier scent of his companion it's own spice. The wolf shook his head, as if to dispel the image... but it was his next sentence that caused him to come to an abrupt halt.
Rooted to his spot he stared up at Hunter, searching as if to make certain it wasn't a joke. The idea of him dying..it made his heart throb. "Ye...'r alright aye?" He narrowed his gaze on the other, frowning, head tilting slightly. "My'elf?" he slurred his word together and rest his hand on the others bare upper arm. The expression on his face was a guarded one. He chose to focus on the later half of the statement. "Wha'... happen Hunter." The sun danced with the shadows of the forest floor making for an almost intricate setting. Strange, that past would meet present here.
“You sure? You look small enough for me to push over.” Hunter laughed; a deep, husky sound. “But that’s good. I won’t be ordering you to get me things anymore. Though occasionally I may demand an ear scratched.” He felt Haevan’s tail brush against his own and his smile softened. He focused upon the path they were walking on and was somewhat startled when beside him Haevan came to a sudden halt.
Hunter fell back a step, looking calmly down at the other male. His near death experience didn’t seem like such a big deal. He had survived after all. Of course he survived. “I’m fine Haevan.” Turning to face the wolf, he lifted a hand and patted the wolf’s face gently. “Don’t look so worried.” The raccoon licked his lips, tilting his head slightly to the side.
“I only fell down a waterfall.” It had been a foolish teen that had tried to do something beyond his ability. Hunter had learnt a big lesson from that day. “Jumping along the rocks at the top I slipped and tumbled into the water.” He shrugged powerful shoulders and then lifted up one half of his top to display a nasty scar across his belly and side.
“Don’t think about it. I’m alive.”
His eyes traced the scar, while healed it was deep from what he could judge, and likely had been painful no doubt. Tail flicking, he shook his head. "Oi.. 'ah told ye. To big fer yer shorts." He smiled faintly, granted it was with reservation. Even if Hunter said to not think on it... he let it occupy his thoughts. It had been bad enough when he hadn't seen him, to never have seen him again?
While the concern lingered in yellow gaze he reached out a single finger and traced what could be seen of it. "Eet, is nice yer 'live." He brushed his hand against the others hand while it rested on his cheek, then in a playful gesture moved to head back down the path. Like it or not, Hunter had some on in his life who did worry. However he wasn't a mother hen, he wouldn't squawk and fuss, just make sure everything was alright and file it away for another day.
Pausing, he turned back to face the other, crossing his arms over his chest. While he was indeed smaller, he made up for it. His personality was larger then life, as it had always been even when he was a love smitten fool..not that he wasn't even now. "Ye said...the's 'ah lake near by?" He peered over his shoulder, trying to catch a faint scent of said body of water, brow screwing up in annoyance when he couldn't immidently it. A smile lining his lips he shifted his weight to his other leg stretching his limbs.
“Hm, yes... I’m also rather pleased I’m still alive.” Hunter chuckled. He had never expressed it in words, but the raccoon cared a lot about Haevan and as he’d clung to the rocks at the bottom of the waterfall, he had wondered who would take care of the wolf if he was gone; though in reality he was more of nuisance than a protector.
Hunter could still sense worry in Haevan’s gaze, however the other male said nothing else and he was grateful for that. The incident had occurred and he refused death, now it was over and he was stronger than ever before.
Smoothing out his top, Hunter moved to follow Haevan down the path. “There is a lake. A damn nice one at a field a little further up. Fancy a swim dog boy?” He gave his friend a firm pat on the shoulder. “I’ll race you there. But I’ll be nice and give you a head start.” With a cheeky grin he came to a halt, crossing his arms over his chest. “Or, I could carry you there. Your choice.”
The wolf would have it no other way, Hunter had long since been his nuisance...one Haevan had incorporated into his existence what seemed so long ago. Not that he lingered on such nostalgia, his mind was set in the present, mocking being cross with the other. Not that it worked to well.. the few times Haevan had ever been truly angry were few and far in between. It didn't help he was holding back laughter all the while either.
"Dog?" He wrinkled his nose and flipped his head upwards, cheeks puffing up. "Ah ain't 'ah dag." he rolled his eyes, but before too long a grin crossed his face, a light chuckle also joining the mix. Looking thoughtful he waved the last part of the others comment off dismissively as if he didn't believe him, and crouched low as if readying himself to bolt off. "'ah dun't need ta start first, but if ye insist~" he replied in a sing song voice.
“You sure look like a doggy to me.” Hunter teased, reaching out to tug on Haevan’s tail. “Aw, I thought you liked being in my arms. I was looking forward to carrying you. But nevermind...” In preparation for the race Hunter hooked his bow on the quiver so that it would be out of the way. “You’d better start running... I’ll give you thirty seconds.”
Eye's widening he eye'd the other when he tugged on his tail, and reminded him of being held. Grumbling a reply that strangely sounded a lot like 'Mayyybe' he shook his head, and after readying himself bolted down the path. Under the tight upper shirt he wore, muscles rolled and flexed, his breathing a faint sound on the wind. Within the first 20 seconds he'd already gone a fair distances, not willing to be caught. "If ye can catch me" He summarized calling out, his lope sided gin in full swing.
Hunter counted and waited, watching the retreating figure of Haevan with an amused smirk. The wolf had good long strides, capable of running a long distance before he got tired. However, he didn’t have what Hunter had. At exactly 30 Hunter was off, one second his body was relaxed and then next powering forward, entire body in unison. To anyone looking, this was as easy as a stroll in the park. Haevan was a good distance ahead but he was already eating up the space ad the lake hadn’t even come into view.
Naturally the wolf thought he had it in the bag, he could ear the sound of flowing water, the scent of fresh water was strong in the air. He judged it was maybe only another minute to two run away. However, his cocky confidence soon waned. Glancing over for only a brief moment, much to his dismay, even with a head long start.... Hunter was damn near on his tail. Tsking he attempted to add power into his strides..but they would soon by no match for the others raw talent. Even the wolf knew better, but it made this no less exhilarating as the both ran. It was something he'd wished to do for some time.. the thrill of the run, and the forest as there setting. Namely.. it was in fun and games along with Hunter.
There was nothing more exhilarating than the chase; your feet pounding the ground, the blood rushing through your veins, gaze focused upon one single target. In many ways the predator and the prey became one; feeling each others heartbeat until one succeeded in escape or the other caught its meal. It was primal. It was wonderful.
The trees opened up, the field spreading out before them with the glint of the lake in the distance. Time to finish this. Hunter sped away, almost flying across the ground, within a few moments he was equal with Haevan and he looked across at the male, winking cheekily. “You can still take the second option.”
The beating of ones heart, the rushing of pulse pounding adrenaline. The sweet sound of breaths unable to keep pace.. it was indeed a rush. If the moon had been high above, the wolf might have found the already serene scene.. to have something a kin to an etheral feel. One of everlasting, un-marching time. Even if it was an illusion. A no less pleasurable one.
Even with there shared goal in site, the others sudden appearance caused the smaller male to falter in his steps. How the hell? It must have shown on his face, especially when he damn near stumbled and took a tumble. Catching himself, he gave the other a well placed look, as if trying to cling to what was left of his dignity. However, the flush on his cheek wasn't from running. "Ye make me look like 'ah joke." he laughed, the sound breathy, however he hadn't said no. Nor would he swoon like a school girl and out right exclaim yes.
“Nah, if I couldn’t beat you after all the training I did I would be pretty darn pathetic.” Hunter took the lack of negative as a yes and in one quick, smooth movement, he darted sideways at Haevan. Strong arms wrapped around Haevan’s legs and waist, flicking him off his feet and up into Hunter’s arms. The raccoon barely seemed to break stride, nor was there any effort on his face. “There, much better.” He said with a chuckle once Haevan’s was securely placed bridal style in his grasp.
He kept running forward, slowing as they reached the edge of the lake. Coming to a halt, Hunter still hadn’t put the wolf down and didn’t seem likely to in the near future. The lake shimmered in the sunlight, the surface broken only by the diving of the occasional water bird in search of a meal. A dragonfly buzzed past the two.
“I sometimes wonder why you put up with me.” The odd words broke the peaceful silence. The look on Hunter’s face was one of amusement. “Everybody else hates me and yet you...”
Gasping, having been quite literally swept off his feet the wolf reached up wrapping his slender arms around the others neck namely for better support. Growling playfully he wrinkled his nose at the other and sighed more from amusement then anything else. "Aye.. 'ah guess eet ain't ta bad~" He chimed in reply, resting his head against the others shouldering having no were else to go, so why not?
He had half expected the other to promptly drop him, however instead he found himself still cradled in the others arms. It was..strangely surreal. Hadn't he just been taking a stroll threw the forest path? How quickly that had changed. His ears perked up at the sound of the buzzing dragonfly, the cool scent of the lake also seemed to have it's own calming effect. Everything was...more then he'd hoped for. Some how the picture of un touched nature, and being so close with Hunter worked.
Brought out of his musing, he tipped his head back ever so slightly, looking up into the raccoon's face.. the wolf's brow knit together as if in serious thought. "Ye know Hunter," his accent drawled for a moment, in which case he licked at his lower lip. "'ah saw both side 'ah ye." He said quitely. "Ye could be 'ah real arse." He gave him a thoughtful look. "But, deep down, ye were still sweet. Proud, but ye we'r head stron'." He rubbed his cheek against the others shoulder. "Ah was...so dam' pissed with ye at one point. 'n sad 'll the same." He chose his words carefully. "Yet..somethin' told me.. eet woul' be oke in th'y end." he looked away at this point, eyes shadowed by his bangs, and hat a like. "Some said... 'ah was 'ah fool fer lovin' ye." he added as an after thought. "But.. 'ah still do." the wolf concluded his thought.
Hunter watched the water as he listened to Haevan speak. The expression on his face was surprisingly thoughtful; his older, stronger self was inclined more to thought then when he was a teen. And yet, Hunter was still his arrogant, head strong self and always would be. That the wolf could care for him even when the raccoon was being an a**, proved the strength of their friendship.
“Thanks Haevan. There are very few people who I care about and who care about me. Because of that, always know that I’ll keep you safe. If I’ve ever hurt you, it wasn’t intended.” Hunter chuckled and settled Haevan down on his feet; the word love never taking on the meaning that was perhaps intended. It seemed more a friendship love and Hunter was surprised to feel an odd wistfulness. He never expected to have that true, romantic love.
With every meeting, comes a time when one realizes it just wasn't the right time. While he had hinted at his true feelings, it wouldn't be now that the two understood what those four little letters truely ment. To the wolf, it was a loaded gun. He'd just dodged another bullet, for now Hunter would go without knowing his true feelings. And..for now that would have to do. He had no regrets, in this friendship he had learned the value of patiences..and maybe just a little bit of reservation. A hard lesson for one nearly as equally hard headed, but just a little easier to get along with.
"Nye, ye dun't need ta." He grinned sheepishly waving a paw at the other. He did pause however, his features softening. "'ah will do what 'ah can ta keep ye safe as well." H left it at that. A strange sense of thing falling into place reminded Haevan of the last few months. While he couldn't place his finger on it, it put him at ease. Glancing at the lake, head tilted to the side, his own thoughtful look brightened the wolf's features. Those predatory eyes, and the fact he licked his lower lip. "Now. Last 'un in is 'ah rotten egg eh?" He grinned, removing his hat, and tugging off his top. This of course left the slender male topless, wearing jeans with rips on the knees. He didn't give Hunter a chance to argue, and darted into the water diving in.
The calm lake broke, a soundly splash spraying the near by victim of the wolf's having jumped in. The time they had spent together were like the ripples. Rolling and lapping, they moved separately but remained as one. As it had been since the early days. However, when the wolf surfaced he splashed a handful of water at the other laughing jovially.
Hunter grinned. Despite his own strength, the raccoon did need Haevan to be there. Hunter needed to be kept safe from Hunter. When his mouth moved faster than his brain, the wolf could warn him before he went too far. The again, Hunter wasn’t likely to listen to anyone. Even his best friend. Hunter watched in amusement as Haevan stripped down; gaze running across his friend’s lithe chest. No Hunter. Control yourself. The friend line could be dangerously blurred if you stepped down that path.
Any further thought was doused by a large spray of water. Hunter stood dripping for a moment and then gently put down his bow and quiver of arrows, stripping his top off as well. “You’re going to pay for that dog boy!” With the predatory grin the muscled male jumped into the water and began towards his pretty. They had good times ahead.

We Need to Talk
In which Hunter and Noe have a chat about 'that Dyre'.
<<< we need to talk >>> 26 May 2009
RP thru PM: Complete
Hunter and Noe have a talk about her recent freak out. Things don't always go as smoothly as planned.
Kuuro Kitten So .. it appeared her apprentice had grown into a very handsome young man. His attitude and mannerisms mimicked that of someone she once held dear to her but the fact that he was gone meant nothing now. Hunter was Hunter; nothing could change that it was obvious she knew but she couldn't help feeling completely defenseless when he was around. Like all her time with Seth meant nothing if this ghost of a man kept haunting her every waking dream. "I hate him." She mutter glaring at herself in the hallway mirror. Coming back to Hytech was the last thing she wanted to do but there was work to be done. And studying at home only got her nothing, too much squealing and screaming at the tv when Kuu watched anime. Far too distracting.
So here she was... tossing her books on the coffee table she sprawled out on the sofa with one book and a note pad and pencil. Ready to take notes on conventional law enforcement. "This isn't an easy path but I love the challenge. Wonder what you would think of me now, Dyre? Am I still a girl you could love?" With a sigh she went to work oblivious to the world around her.
Ruriska When Noe arrived at Hytech, Hunter was waiting for her. A predator sitting patiently in wait, the raccoon intended upon getting some answers today. He was suck and tired of this nonsense with her freaking out whenever she saw him, leaving in a past he had no knowledge of. As Noe flopped herself down on the couch, Hunter approached from behind on silent, stalking steps. He wasn’t going to give her a chance to get away. His ears twitched as he spoke. Dyre? Yes, he’d heard that name before.
With a swift movement he leapt over the back of the sofa, landing in a crouched position over Noe. Placing a hand against her shoulder he intended upon using his strength to keep her in place until he could get some answers. Red eyes glittered with an intense light. “Time to talk.”
Kuuro Kitten Book in had she was laying on her back reading, a pencil balancing on her upper lip as she tried to make sense of the words. Only briefly did she have a moment to react at seeing a sudden shadow leap over the couch. Sitting up she made to move but strong paws pushed her back on the couch as she dropped both pencil and book. Glaring at the intense crimson orbs, evenly intense jade ones met his own. "What makes you think I want to talk?" She protested not bothering to struggle. With his new features she had already taken into consideration he had her beat on brute strength alone but he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box and was about as short tempered as a shrew. "I have nothing to say to you, go away you damn copy!"
Ruriska “I don’t care if you want to talk or not. You’re going to start explaining.” Hunter increased the pressure his was pushing down her while shifting into a position that would allow him to more effectively combat any move she made. Leaning in close, the raccoon gave a low hiss. “Who is Dyre?” He gave a dry chuckle. “I’m not stupid. I’ve heard the name whispered, always in the same breath as yours. Tell me the story, help me to understand your insanity.”
Kuuro Kitten Again she didn't bother struggling but she wasn't about to make things easy on him. Apparently herself too. "Hunter you can demand all you want but I won't tell you anything under these conditions. You don't deserve to know...." She glared up at him squinting when he pushed her down further. Despite her best efforts tears welled in her eyes but she kept a defiant front. "At least Dyre would never hurt me like this... how dare you have his face! You're nothing but a copy!!!"
Ruriska “Stop calling me that! I am no copy! I am Hunter!” He shouted at her, body tensed with anger. The raccoon took in a deep shaky breath, seeing the tears in her eyes something inside him tightened, followed by the overwhelming urge to hold and protect. Hunter gave out a soft groan of frustration and with a quick move was off Noe. He sat down on the coffee table and ran a hand through his hair. “I didn’t hurt you. I wouldn’t hurt you. Please tell me... I need to know.”
Kuuro Kitten With him off her she quickly rolled over on the couch turning her back on him. For a long moment she didn't speak trying to get her emotions under control. Hunter wasn't to blame in all this but he really didn't make it easy for her to adjust she just needed time to confront this situation. Still she had to get it over with, "Dyre... he was someone I loved very much but he didn't belong here." Taking in a shaky breath she turned to look at him. "Hunter I really loved him and it just hurts to hear those words come out of your mouth with his face. I know you're not a copy but..." Sitting up she looked away. "From what I know he's a demi-god from another world. He came here by accident when I was just a baby. Soon he became my mentor and as I grew I learned how to fight and defend myself from him. Eventually things grew deeper at least for a while it felt one sided but then it wasn't so one sided." With a hefty sigh she looked to Hunter a somber smile on her face. "He had to leave or risk bringing unwanted guests to our world. So he did but I can only wonder did he leave completely ... that's where you come in. I don't understand he never told me anything."
Ruriska Hunter was silent for a while, mulling over all her words thoughtfully. He rested his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands, eyes half closed. A demi-god from another world? It all seemed so fanciful. But there was no doubt of its truth. This Dyre had existed, had been beloved Noe, and for whatever reason, Hunter had a remarkable resemblance to the guy. Was it possible that somehow they were linked? He didn’t like to think so. In fact, the idea boiled up in him with an intense dislike. But you couldn’t ignore the coincidences.
“Do you believe I am somehow connected to Dyre? Was he powerful enough to leave somebody like me behind?” Hunter gave a heavy sigh. “Why couldn’t you have told me this earlier? I had a right to know and you must have seen it. Granted I’m not that easy to talk to. Hm... nevermind. Let’s get one thing straight though. I may look like Dyre, I may act like Dyre, but I am Hunter. I am crude, I am arrogant, I am myself.”
Kuuro Kitten "I tell myself that everyday. I know you're not him but there's no denying that he'd be arrogant enough to actually do something like this. He already told me something so sappy and even out of character for him." She replied sighing softly. "I didn't take him seriously until you showed up. I'm sorry I didn't bring it up earlier but I was in denial it didn't seem possible until now." Looking away she stood to her feet stretching the tension from her body. "Hunter. I know you are you that is not something I would get mixed up, right now I'm still in a lot of pain over his loss. Seeing you just opens those wounds again but I have no intention of taking it out on you if you give me no reason to do so."
Looking to him with a half a** smile she pointed a finger at him poking him in the nose. "Hunter I just want to know one thing. When you're around me or anything concerning me how do you feel? Is there anything that pulls you toward me without your knowing why?" With saying this she sat next to him still unable to understand how that idiot had done something so selfish. While he bolted and would be able to forget overtime. She was left with an imagine of himself a living breathing entity to remind her day after day. It sucked but in some cased, she realized just how much she was falling for another. Seeing Hunter like this she wanted very much to bury herself in Seth's arms and wash all the stress away. "Do you think at any time you could ever fall in love with me?" This was a question she wanted to know, they both needed to figure this out and move on. Learn to deal with each other.
Ruriska Well, he couldn’t blame her for her reaction really. Seeing a bad-tempered raccoon around with the face of your old boyfriend was bound to piss anybody off. Hunter momentarily considered hunting Dyre down to punch him in the face, but figured that was rather pointless considering he wouldn’t exist without the guy. If their suspicions were correct that was. He looked at her sideways as she sat down; her question causing him to give an annoyed frown.
“Yeah. I feel...” He clenched and unclenched a fist. “I can’t harm you. I can attack with words, but I can’t harm your body. It’s as if some invisible force is stopping me. There is also a desire to protect. If anybody were to hurt you, I would kill them. Plain and simple. Perhaps that’s half the reason I hate Seth. My nature is a possessive one.”
The next question caused him to fall silent; gaze thoughtful. “I....” Love? In some twisted way he did want her but at the same time he didn’t want to be close to her. She was almost a sister, whom he hated and respected at the same time. His teacher. “No.”
Kuuro Kitten Then that was it. They had nothing more to discuss the rest would simply have to be played by ear. However, the last thing Noelani could think to do had suddenly flashed in her mind. Maybe out of curiosity or a need to get it out of her system; whatever the case she leaned forward to plant a tender kiss on Hunter's lips. Brushing at his hair she moved away bumping her forehead against his. "Call me what you will but I do love you and not for who you look like. You do act like a kid brother at times... but maybe you could do me a favor and try not to lash out so much at Seth." Standing to her feet she stretched again smiling down on the raccoon. "I just thought you'd like to know, I'm in love with him. He makes me happy!" She giggled moving farther away, almost dancing at the thought. For so long it had been hard to get over her first love but maybe that idiot demi-god had done her a big favor.
Turning with a bright smile she gave a soft nod but then she turned away from him. "Hunter? If somewhere down the line, when you least expect it... a day comes and you realize your eyes are always following me. That no matter how hard you try, they won't stop. Don't tell me. I've finally found my happiness, it would be too complicated if you became selfish too..." She turned with a soft wink. "Of course you would never find me attractive so I don't have anything to worry about, right?" With nothing more to discuss she gathered her things and headed for the door.
